What's going on, guys? Andre Haeckel Jr. Here from client Ascension with another student spotlight interview. And I'm here with my good friend, Kyle Trouble. Kyle, welcome.
Thanks for having me on, man. Appreciate it.
Of course, man. Yeah, I'm really excited to dive into this because you have a really unique journey here in Client Ascension. You've worked with a lot of guys in the community, and I really hope that this video encourages more people in the community to want to work with you. So just as a starting point, if you could just walk us through who you are and what you're currently working on.
Yeah, my name's Kyle. I actually started an online business like in 2013, originally with a blog. I built a lot of niche websites, affiliate marketing, had a personal brand basically since the start. I created an olive oil company based out of Eastern Europe as well, which eventually led me to settling in Ukraine where I started Higher ua. And that's kind of been my journey as far as overall online business. So then I started the agency out there a few years ago and it's obviously really been rolling since then.
Yeah, dude, your olive oil is awesome, man. You sent me.
Appreciate it.
Which I appreciate the sample and I use it every day now to cook lunch. Really cool stuff. I'm curious to hear, like, how did you hear about Client Ascension? Like, what was your end to our community?
I don't even know, to be honest. I mean, just Twitter, honestly. I mean, I've been kind of in that space for quite a few years now, so I think I just saw you guys on there and kind of was watching and basically I had a lot of different experiences with online business, but it was all mostly information products or, you know, the direct to consumer product with the olive oil. So an agency based offering was something that I wasn't familiar with. I didn't really know what I was getting into, what I was doing. So I thought that joining Klein essentially would essentially allow me to pour gas on the fire with that.
Yeah, yeah, man. You definitely ran with that offer, which.
Is pretty cool, I guess.
Like, was there a reason in the beginning you decided to join? Like, was there something like a roadblock or something that was holding you back from having this success you wanted or is just you thought joining a community would just be a good idea?
I think the biggest thing was I needed to go like all in on it. I need to make that like commitment, like, okay, I'm going to put some other stuff on the side and I'm going all in on this. And I think getting into that community where there were people working on, you know, not similar models necessarily, but a similar, you know, type of business and being able to talk to people every day allowed me to say, okay, this is it. I'm going in on this for a while. We'll see how it goes.
Yeah, yeah. And I remember some of those first conversations we had when you joined, like, talking about specifically focusing on like a type of business that you want to help, right? Like you help agency owners, which is super convenient, being in a community of other agency owners, and you help them with talent from a specific location in the world, which is super relevant in the news today, which is Ukraine. And so I guess my question now is like, since joining, I guess, like, what are some wins or milestones that you've achieved along the way? Or just how's the journey been?
It's been really good, man. I mean, we've basically signed almost a client a day since October. You know, even with the holidays, we've been almost very close to a clip a day. So you can imagine kind of how those numbers look from a financial standpoint. They're very good. And it has just been. Yeah, it basically did pour gas on the fire. And that was the catalyst, I think, really that got it going was joining Client Ascension. It was just extremely helpful to be able to take all these ideas I had in my head and go to people that have built a similar model, at least, you know, a service based B2B business, which is not something I've done before. So being able to go and tap into that network, you know, just hone down into everything, was just extremely beneficial for me.
Awesome, man. Yeah. One thing that you do really well is you leverage the community, right? So as we pointed out, the community is full of agency owners. You have a service that is tailored towards agency owners. And so obviously it's no secret a lot of your clients have come from Client Ascension, but you do it in a really genuine way. You know, sometimes people come in the community and they're shilling their offer into different channels and we kind of have to have that conversation with them privately about what are the rules and parameters here. But that's never occurred with you. So kind of talk about how you've been able to establish relationships and even get clients from a community like Client Ascension.
I honestly think the big one, man, is that, you know, this sounds kind of cheesy, but at the end of the day, like, Ukraine was my home. I had lived there for the last five years. I bought property there. You know, it really was my adopted homeland. I love the country, I love the people. So while I really like helping business owners, I also really like giving good people from that country good jobs. Right. Because it's there, it's huge opportunities for them. So I think that is what allowed me to answer your question, to be genuine is I look, I came back to the States for the first time in many years and I looked around, I looked at the economy, I said, how are small business owners like managing? Like, how would they possibly do this with these current salaries and the current prices of things? So it, it's not hard to be genuine when I'm actually really helping business owners and I'm helping someone who deserves it on the other side of the world. Because it's almost always going to be the case.
Yeah, no, I mean, when you have a really strong purpose and a strong why, it helps you to show up with full authenticity and also, most importantly, at the end of the day, deliver a really valuable service. I personally, I've had hires from you guys and it's just been an amazing experience. So you guys do a really good job and I, I think, yeah, for sure. Like, that speaks to a lot of your success, I guess. What's the plan when we're recording this is like January 2023. Like what are your goals? What does the plan look like for this year?
The goal is probably to expand the team, I'm guessing two or three times more. So we went from three people in June to 12 basically by the end of last year. And I think it'll be at least 20, maybe even 30, kind of depending on volume by the end of the year. Goal is just to ramp everything up and then also to be offering higher ticket stuff. So basically full custom integration where someone on my team is going to go into your business and they're actually going to really narrow down the candidates for you already. So we have a great model as far as like month to month and kind of just stacking that up. But the goal is now to do like high ticket integration stuff where we can kind of just, you know, drive the ticket price up ultimately of clients and customers.
Yeah, I love that, man. That's really exciting. And the coolest thing is a lot of those hires and expansion like with your own team is probably following your own advice. Right? You're hiring from Ukraine. These are the same types of people that you're placing in other businesses.
Yeah, no, it's exactly. In fact, most of the people I've hired have just been candidates that were with other placements or with a client previously and they got let go, I think. I don't know. I've got something with my team with. We all kind of have a chip on our shoulder, I think, and it's worked out extremely well with that. But, yeah, I ran the numbers. I think it's like six or seven of them have all come from another placement, so it's kind of funny how that works.
Cool, man. Well, congrats on all the success. It's been really fun to watch. And again, like, you've just provided so much value to the students in our community, so we can't thank you enough.
Appreciate it.
My last question for you, Kyle, is where can people find you, follow you, and learn more about what it's like to work with you?
You can go to hire UA.com and you can check out kind of our process and what we do as far as hiring overseas talent. And then if you want to find my personal stuff where I talk about things, business via daily email, it's kyletruble. Com and on Twitter at Kyle trouble.
Sweet. Thanks so much again, Kyle. Appreciate you coming on Anytime. I hope to have you on one of these someday as well.
All right, talk to you all soon.
Take care.
Cheers, man.
