Scaling a Tik Tok Agency to $29.5k/mo in 45 Days (Short Form Content Marketing Agency)

A recorded conversation (host Daniel Fazio with guests Eddie and Brady) about rapidly scaling a TikTok agency after joining the Client Ascension program. Eddie reports growth from roughly $5–7k/month to $29.5k in about 45 days after joining. The guests credit changes in sales process, clearer role division (sales vs product), repositioning their offer toward higher-end clients (coaches/info-product creators vs e-comm), creation and use of sales assets (VSLs, case studies, social proof), and systematic cold outreach (mass DMs via a VA + optimized profiles) as the main drivers. They also discuss productizing agency learnings into info products and long-term brand-building through content channels like YouTube.

All right, I got the boys, Eddie and Brady here and they are in Client ascension. Gentlemen, could you please share with everybody what revenue level you joined Client Ascension at and then what you. What you got to in a very short period of time.
So when we joined, I think we were doing somewhere between like five to seven a month on average. And then shortly after, I think it was like a month and a half or so after joining, we hit 29.5k on the month, which we maintained for a while. So pretty fast growth.
Yeah. So how did you do that? Because the logical thing here is like, okay, how does somebody come into Client Ascension and be at 5 to 7k a month and then get to 29 and a half thousand a month in like 40 days? How, how does that happen? What did you do to facilitate that?
So one of the biggest things for us was the sales side of things. Like we had a decent amount of leads beforehand. Just because my TikTok was doing well. We had a ton of calls booked. Maybe not all of them were super qualified. And so we fixed kind of like our sales process and started taking calls without broke people. Like we wouldn't talk to broke people. And then for me personally, David helped me a ton with my sales. Like I did some one on one with him. And then also just the whole sales module and learning platform helps because we never really have done any type of sales or like B2B sales. And so that changed the game for us mainly.
Yeah.
So Eddie, you're on like the sales side. Brady, what did you do? Like, what was your, what was your role in this?
So I'd like to say that not only was it the sales, but it was more or less, you guys were able to look inside of our business and kind of pull everything out and say, hey, you guys are partners and one of you needs to pick sales, one of you needs to pick product. And then both of you can kind of work on marketing together. And to this day that's how we currently run our business. And it's just way better because me and Eddie actually did a personality test recently and it went to show that I'm more introverted, he's more extroverted, and then we have like very polarizing, like personality traits. So he's strong suit sales, I'm strong suit product, and then we both just work on marketing together. And I think once we were able to, because at first we were both like working on sales together. So once we were able to pull that apart and just focus on what we're really good at we just skyrocketed instantly because we were able to get the reps in to get really, really good at what we were doing.
Yeah, I know a large part of this was how you exactly structured the offer. So before like you guys, because you were getting leads but you weren't closing any of the leads. And yeah, while sales ability and sales processes have something to do with that. So it is like functionally what the thing you're selling actually is and how that's position. So if you could kind of explain to people what your offer looked like before client ascension and then kind of how we morph that a little bit into be something that's actually attractive to people.
So the real answer here is we actually were for. Because we came from a different type of space. We came from. We went from running an info product ourselves to going into the agency space, um, which was an interesting path, but we went into the agency space actually starting to work with E Comm. And we weren't the best at working with E Comm. And then we switched our ICP to what we were familiar with, which was coaches, info, product creators and stuff like that. And instantly we knew the field. So it was just like boom, boom, boom, boom, instant growth there. And Daniel was able to pull that out with our offer formulation. And then he was like, you should guarantee this much and say, and like make this claim and then run these two together and charge this much. And I was like, what do you mean charge this much? He was like, and I remember I sent you a dm. I was like, do you really think these people will pay this much? And you're like, this is not a lot of money to someone who's making 50k a month. And I was like, that's valid. And then like two or three weeks after that, we closed two retainers at our max contract size.
Yeah, this is almost universally like a, like a. It's if, if you haven't been in like a higher end market, it's hard for you to conceptualize like precisely how much somebody will pay for a quality service. And like if you've only ever worked with broke people in the past and then you go approach a. Like a. Like, like a business that actually is larger and does pretty big volume and you're positioned yourself to charge like anywhere in the range of 5,000 to $8,000 per month. It's not a lot of money. It just actually isn't. Especially when, when you are reversing the risk properly. Like exactly how I showed you guys how to do and then providing evidence that you have, in fact, been able to do it, which is exactly what happened with you guys. And I know you were doing like. Like a bunch of. I got you. I got you guys doing cold DMS on Twitter. How did that work out?
So with cold dms, it started working out really well once I went through the client ascension material and really fucking, like, put it together and started putting out sales assets and started doing a bunch of, like, engagement. And once I was more out there and I. I Twitter blue is obviously clutch as well. But once I was more out there, it was way easier to get a response because my profile was optimized and stuff like that. But what was really clutch for us, where most people actually incline ascension, they don't do is we got a VA that paid that, like, literally charged nothing for sending dms, and we made sure flowchat was working all the time, and she literally sent, like, 5,000 DMS for us. And, like, that's how. What landed us all of our, like.
A lot of our. What's. What's the big differentiator between people who do cold outreach versus people who do cold outreach actually successfully and selling clients from it is those sales assets. And this is always so interesting to me because there would be a lot of people who I come across sometimes, and they're just like, God, dude, I bought this program and this guy was showing me how to do this automated outreach over here. But, like, it isn't working. And I'm like, because you don't exist on the Internet, you don't have any sales assets, and you don't have a video sales letter, and you don't have a good value proposition on your page, and all the evidence that you do have isn't properly presented on there, and you don't have a risk reversal, and you don't understand what market sophistication level that your offer is at. So you don't know what other claims your competitors are making, and you don't know what, like, the people that you are pitching, you're not even aware of, like, what kind of other pitches they're getting. So it's like, you need to have a very, very high degree of awareness of what is going on holistically inside your entire market. That. That's. I feel like that's what kind of did it for you guys, because I was able to reveal that to you, where it's like, no, this is how this actually works. And then you. And then it starts to click where it's like, oh, so that's why you make the sales assets and that's why you say this and. And the vsl because you understand who you're selling to.
Yep. I think putting yourself in the part, the other person's shoes of who you're actually, that was the big switch, in my opinion. It was like the ICP we were selling to because as soon as that switch happened, we were that ICP before we sold to that icp. So it was like essentially selling to ourselves. It was really easy to formulate marketing messaging towards those people as well.
Yeah, I know. Like a, like a big thing with you guys is like, you've been selling like you're selling stuff to beginners and like, I'm kind of. And then I like kind of showing you guys where it's like, no, you don't sell to these people because then they end up being a terrible client. And then this, this mismatch between like, it's not always that you aren't good at the thing you're doing. It's that you're selling it to the incorrect person and it's actually the client's fault. Why. Why it isn't working. That's sometimes a lot of the times that's the case. But because you guys were good at it and it was very easy to recognize, I guess you guys are good at TikTok ads. Like, you just are. You understand how to get results with TikTok ads, but the problem is that you're selling your TikTok ads service to the incorrect person. You're selling it to people who don't run good businesses. So it's like, okay, let's sell it to people who run good businesses. How do we find good businesses? And what do you have to say to a good business to convince them to get on the phone with you? And then how do you structure the offer to where a good business wants the offer and the switching that up and just like entirely morphing the business into. Into like you're selling to more of a high end of the market.
Yeah, it's a. It's a way different perspective lens to look through from selling to the low end of the market. Because we sold it to the low end of the market with our previous offer. And we sold so much to the low end of the market where we were just like, it was ingrained in our brain. And then when you sell to the high end of the market, it's almost like you have to make an offer that's going to get them on the phone because the high end people will not get on the phone or buy anything from you if you do not peak their interest with like social proof, sales assets, case studies, BSLs, all that stuff, you know, every.
Yeah, everything has to be very calculated to maneuver them to get to that first call.
Yeah, yeah.
So what do you, so, so you guys are doing, you guys are ramming an info product now because you got really good results for clients. And, and this is kind of what happens with, with a lot of people where it's like you work, you provide a high end service to high end businesses, you get extremely good results and then you can take those learnings and then turn it into an info product or a coaching product. And that's what you guys are doing now.
Yeah, yeah. That's honestly one of the fun, the most fun projects that I'm currently working on. And I feel like building this because I feel like most people don't start an agency to build it for 10 years, but when you're building something that you believe you can work with for like five to 10 years, you're building it for the long term. And you have a lot more fun building for the long term than built than working on a cash cow that's going to make you this like short term money. So it's a really fun project that I think we're embarking on right now.
This is like the whole reason as to why someone comes in. Client ascension. It's like, okay, yes, we're going to set up cold emails and cold outbound. Like we're all 100% going to do that. But simultaneously you need to be creating sales assets because that serves two very specific functions. It's like one, it makes your cold outreach easier. Like you just indisputably book more calls when you have content on the Internet. So one, it's helping you there. Two, you're building an audience so that you're positioned to sell the audience all different forms of your offer later on down the road. So it's a double whammy. And like you guys positioned yourself in exactly that way and now like things are going very well and you have like a variety of offers that you can sell to different people.
Right. You position yourself to take the rest of the market.
Yeah, that's like legitimately what you do. If you, if you want to get like any of the market, you have to position yourself to be like the best in the market. Like you just have to actually be the best because it's not like say there's, let's just Take a, let's say there's a hundred people who sell a service and there's a thousand potential customers. And like a normal person thinks that like, oh, that's 10 clients for every person. It doesn't work like that. It's just like two people have all of the clients. That's how it works. You just have to become one of those two people.
Yep. I would say, I would say, I would give Presley props on that one because he kind of took over the short form film in person offer and everyone in the Florida area, Miami offer. I feel like every other day on Twitter it's like, I'm working with this guy, I'm working with that guy. I'm like, props to this dude because he actually consumed the entire market like he told him to. Like, that's actually really smart.
Yeah. It's like, how do you facilitate that? Oh, through social proof. That's it. Like, it's just presented in like social engineering around the social. That's all you do. It's just the same thing over and over and over and over and over again. And I say this so many times, it's like the growth of your business is directly proportional to how many case studies and results you have. Like indisputably every single time. Like, whoever has the most evidence wins. It's, it's, it's exactly like whoever has the most Google reviews shows up first in the Google my business listings, whatever Amazon listing has the most reviews, like shows up at, at the top. And they show up at the top because if they click that page, it has the highest conversion rate because they have the most reviews. So Amazon will know that if I show this first, there's a higher probability that the person searching buys so that. And because of that data, it shows them first. Like, that's how it works. Like whoever has the most social proof wins. And that's like the entire functional, the entire function of client ascension is trying to like putting people into that trajectory upward to where it's a yes, you will be at the very top of this and like capture everything because you're just indisputably better than everyone. Facilitated through a claim, a risk reversal and case studies and evidence. Like, that's it. It's just the same thing over and over and over again. It's so funny.
Right? I think that's where client ascension like sets you up for success because I feel like most other client acquisition offers would set you up for, oh, I'm gonna help you get your first 10 clients. I'm gonna Help you get, because you could easily make a claim. I'm gonna get you your first 10 clients or whatever like that or something. Like, I've seen a ton of offers where it's like, we'll get you a client in 48 hours and if you don't, you don't pay. It's like stupid, right? But going into client essential, you're positioned to actually have a successful business long term. And you guys don't care about the first client. You guys don't care about just getting some clients and then throwing it to the side. You guys help with every single part of the offer. You guys help with fulfillment. You guys help with like the zapier stuff. You guys help with all the stuff that encompasses your business. And you're talking about positioning you position their businesses to work long term as well. Because you guys actually care I with that.
Yeah, just like, like hyper amplifiers that aren't apparent to work in the beginning, but like you understand throughout the long run. Oh yeah, that actually worked. Whereas like, if you could take, you could take two identical people with an identical offer with an identical website and an identical VSL and it's like you can give them an identical cold email script to an identical list with identical sending tools and identical deliverability. And one of them has content and sales assets on the Internet and another one doesn't. The person with the content and sales assets doesn't just get like a 20% bump or 30% bump. They get all of it. They get all of the clients. So like trying to like help people facilitate this where it's like you kind of like a lot of people just don't understand to think like, oh yeah, I have competitors that are like prospecting around to like this audience and, and whatnot. I'm like trying to explain to them. It's like someone's beating you right now. It's like, how do you, how do you set this up to where you win in like an auction? Like, if you send a cold email to someone, you're like quite literally in an auction essentially because they're only gonna work with one person. So it's like you just have to be the best option. You need to like invoke an awareness around them. Here's how to be the best option and that's it. And then here's how to like stay the best option continuously. That's what makes it work so well. Because we set people up like that.
Yeah. And I feel like that kind of stuff isn't the quickest win and most People aren't willing to go to that extent for their clients and like, for example, other competitors in the money Twitter space. I won't say any names, but they won't tell you to go post on YouTube. Like you guys explicitly stay and teach us to say like, I still haven't done it. Eddie has and he's. We've seen the results from that, but you're not going to see instant results from YouTube. You're going to see results in a year or two, maybe three years. But you guys are telling us, go do YouTube. And he took the time to say, go do YouTube and teach us how to do YouTube. And that's why. That's like just one of the reasons you guys set us up for like long term success and actually care about. Yeah, you have this agency right now, but you have the. You're building this personal brand that you can monetize on forever.
Yeah, that's exactly why it's great.
Yeah.
Gentlemen, I appreciate you for, for coming on. I'm going to leave links to your stuff in the description, so anyone watching you want to connect with boys 100, do that. Thank you, gentlemen. Appreciate it.
