This is a YouTube video titled "What Most People Don't Understand About Online Courses" containing a monologue or talk from July 16, 2025, discussing the business aspects of selling online courses, the value of acquiring skills, and strategies for marketing services and products. The speaker explains the motivation behind selling courses and how it fits into a broader business model. There is only one speaker present, and no mention of Daniel Fazio.
You know what's funny about courses? People go, oh, that person just sells a course. Here's the thing about courses. People buy courses. So this is the problem, people. Why is everyone selling a course? Because people keep buying the courses, that's why. I remember one time someone goes, when I was selling cold email mastery, they go, oh, I bet you're only in this for the money. And I go, let me explain this to you. I am specifically in this for the money. I literally would not be here at all if it did not involve money. That's the entire function of this. It's a business. Now, if you don't know anything on earth, you obviously should go sell a course because it's going to come back and buy you. Typically, what you always should do is go gather a vast array of skills. You should go sell that skill as a service. You should get results with that service. And then you can sell a course to either a past version of yourself or you can sell it to prospects who you want to create your market for your upper offer. Exactly what I'm doing right now. So I want to create cold emailers so that they can one, purchase the agency service and to buy the software that I'm creating.
