A short YouTube video (shorts) by Daniel Fazio arguing that moving to the same city as his business partners substantially improved their efficiency and collaboration. He contrasts in-person interactions (dinners, casual hangouts) with remote Zoom calls, claiming face-to-face proximity leads to more productive, natural business conversations.
So I moved to the same city as my business partners, and that made our efficiency, and it is the best thing ever, because work from home. Work from home. And, like, work from home is cool, but when you are conversing and, like, normal conversations and, like, you're hanging out and you're just with the people you're doing business with, you get so much done. It's like, we're never going to sit here and, like, hang out on a Zoom call, but we're definitely going to go to dinner and hang out there and talk about things that are related to business.
