Hello, bright soul. My name is Nova. I am a holistic therapist at the BUAC, and I want to share a few simple habits that lift your body, mind, energy, and spirit. Let's start by taking one easy breath together. Breathe in through your nose for four counts, hold for two, and breathe out through your mouth. For 6. Feel your shoulders drop. Good. You are here. Your body likes small moves more than big battles. Once every hour, stand up for 90 seconds. Do 10 slow squats, 5 big arm circles, or dance to one song chorus. Tiny bursts wake the blood Clear the head and stop that heavy after-lunch feeling. Keep a glass of water close and have 3 sips right after you move. Water plus motion is a fast refresh button. Next, let skincare be a quiet moment, not a rush. Rub a little cream between your palms to warm it. Breathe in the smell, then smooth it upward over your face while you whisper, I lift my spirit The gentle touch and kind words tell your brain to release happy chemicals. Tonight, try sleeping on a silk pillowcase. It feels cool, cuts down hair frizz, and keeps pillow lines off your cheeks. Energy resets can be quick too. Place 2 fingers just below your belly button and your other hand over your heart. Breathe in for 4, hold for 2, then breathe out for 6 with a soft ha sound. Tap the center of your chest 3 light times. Do this 3 rounds. It calms the heart and spreads a warm tingle through the body. Use it before a meeting or when worry shows up. Your mind needs space like lungs need air. Pick any 10-minute slot each day, turn all screens face down, and just look out a window or at the ceiling. Let thoughts drift by like clouds. No judging, no fixing. When the timer ends, write one short line that begins, today my body says yes to... It might say a short walk, a bright salad, or an early night. Follow that yes if you can. Put these pieces together and you have a simple daily flow. In the morning, drink warm water with a slice of lemon. Say 3 things you are grateful for and stretch your arms overhead. At midday, eat at least 3 colors of fruit or vegetables and take your 90-second move break. In the evening, dim the lights, read a paper page instead of a screen, breathe the belly-heart breath, and fall asleep before your body feels overtired. Small steps, big change! Remember, well-being is not a finish line; it is a gentle dance you lead every day.
