What has been the most surprising thing about parenthood for you all? I'm surprised at actually how much easier it feels the second time around. Yes. Yes. I mean, you'd think it would get harder because you're doing, like, double the work and you have, like, two babies now. Yeah. But for me, the first time, it's just such a life change, and that was a lot harder for me, the transition from 0 to 1 than 1 to 2.
I didn't know that I could become more patient than I was because when we first got married and just when we were dating, like, God was working on my patients. Like, for me personally, I just, like, wasn't that I just wanted things quickly, quick satisfaction. And when we got married, I was working on my patients, and then we had our first baby girl, and I was like, whoa. I'm like, my heart. My heart is softer. Everything just feels, like, a little slower a little bit. And I'm just, like, more patient with my daughters, and I didn't think that I could get to that level of patience.
