I know for us some of the biggest hurdles had to do with family dynamics like with parents and in laws we can't talk too specifically about just out of respect for the parties involved. But I will say this, that it was gut wrenching.
Like I would say that for us those early years of marriage navigating the family dynamics of trying to figure out how to let go and what that looks like and us trying to figure out how to honor our parents as adults but also know that we're sometimes disappointing them because our decisions don't line up with what they had in mind potentially for us. And there was so much hurt and miscommunication and it was just a painful experience. And I would say that that season was the hardest thing we've ever walked through coming out on the other side of it, you know, thankfully now I feel like we have a really strong relationship with everybody involved. So it's possible because at one time I thought that was impossible.
