A short sermon excerpt by Dave Willis centered on Haggai 1:5 ("give careful thought to your ways"). Willis emphasizes that Christian holiness means being set apart from societal norms and intentionally living differently out of love for and service to God. The tone is pastoral and exhortative, offering a straightforward call to daily self-examination and distinctive conduct.

Chapters

We're in Haggai today. And that's chapter one, verse five. It says this. This is what the Lord Almighty says, give careful thought to your ways. And I love that because it's so simple. Again, a lot of. A lot of God's truths in the Bible are very simple, but maybe hard to carry out. You know, as Christ followers, we do need to give careful thought to our ways being like, what we do on a daily basis, how we go through life. Because as Christians, we're called to be holy, which is set apart, meaning that we don't follow what everybody else does. Right. We're going to do things slightly differently because. Or maybe very differently, depending on where we live and what the social norms are around us. We do that differently because we love God and we want to serve the Lord.
