David Oualaalou argues that Australia's AUKUS nuclear submarine program will cripple its economy and drag it into regional conflicts with China. He claims the US is using Australia as a strategic launchpad while the country lacks the nuclear industry to support the technology, and that there's been no real public debate about the decision.

Hello everybody and welcome to Geopolitical Trends. My name is David Oualaalou. So good to be with you as always. Well, well, Prime Minister of Australia Anthony Albanese, known as Albo, or Albo that is, is to travel to the United States. Now the question is, is he being summoned in a similar way like what his counterpart in Germany the Chancellor Olaf Scholz just did last week. So in this video, I am going to provide you a brief analysis to put things in perspective as to what lies ahead for Australia, because it's already going down economically speaking, and now it's in political chaos. But before I'll do all this, I'd like to thank the channel members as always., for, for your continued support. And of course, for you as a subscriber, I truly, truly appreciate your support. And if this is your first time landing on this channel, please make sure to subscribe and smash that notification button so you will be notified every time I upload a new video. Let's dive in into this. Well, as I said, PM Prime Minister Albo is expected to meet with Biden And guess who else? None other than the Prime Minister of UK, Rishi Sunak. I call him a Clown Sunak too, uh, as part of the AUKUS counterparts. The question becomes is why all of a sudden, why all of a sudden, uh, the Prime Minister for Australia being summoned, you know? Well, usually he's been avoiding, uh, disclosing the reason why He's going to the US, but it will take in— as he said, he will take into the trilateral meeting with Biden and UK Prime Minister Sunak about the— get this, guys— AUKUS defense partnership. You all see what's coming, right? Australia is going to be used, no different than Philippines, no different than South Korea, and no different than Japan. So, so, Albanese, Albo, Prime Minister Albo has announced that he will travel, as I mentioned, to the US following. And here is the interesting aspect, right after he left India, because he was in India, and you all know India is being part of the AUKUS as well, you know, or trying to pull India into becoming part of the AUKUS. Same with Japan, they are not there yet, so But following his India visit, he announced that he will be meeting with President Joe Biden, you know, who expected to host Biden— that is, in Washington will host Prime Minister Albo and Prime Minister comedian Sunak. So as part of what the so-called defense pact— the question that we need to ask, and if I am to put my geopolitical analyst hat on, is are they, are they meaning US, UK, and Australia trying to take advantage of India? You know, that is the key question that I will ask, you know, because all of a sudden, after Albo's meeting with Narendra Modi in India, all of a sudden he's dispatched to— excuse me— dispatched to, uh, to the United States, you know. And this is exactly what he said prior to his departure to India. You know, he didn't give any details. All he said, and I quote because I got the quote for you here, I look forward to the continuing engagement that I have with the US administration, end of quote. And this was issued by his his office also. So the question that becomes, as I said earlier, is, is the US pushing Australia over the cliff? No different than what we're doing with Japan, no different than what we're doing with South Korea, no different than what we're doing with Philippines, you know. And all of them are pushed under the umbrella of collective security, you know. And, and by the way, guys, if you like this video so far, please make sure to hit the like button and subscribe if you have not done so. And thank you very much for your support. So here is the idea: now that Australia is going to be dragged into accepting nuclear submarines from the United States and the UK, in that case, how do you think China is going to be looking at that? You know, what other countries in the region is going to be thinking? What Australia does not realize, and I am sure they do, but it's just the administration seems to be— the leaders of Australia are kind of oblivious to the reality. They are either lying to the Aussies, you know, or they are plain stupid, because by embarking on this nuclear submarine technology, they are putting a target on their back. Should there be a conflict in the region And they will, they will sort of side with the US against China. We don't know what the outcome is. So here's the thing. The United States and the UK have agreed to provide Australia with the technology to deploy— get this, guys— nuclear power submarines. And yet they have not said how. They have not said exactly how the capability will be transferred to Australia. Which does not have a nuclear propulsion industry to begin with. So first of all, how can they afford that? The affordability is going to be an issue. That's why they got tensions with France, because they screwed France over the contract of $1 billion or so, something like that. So, but Australia is not equipped for this. Australia has maintained nuclear-free zone. All of a sudden they're changing their position. I don't even know how the Aussies feel about this, but certainly we don't hear the voices of Aussies into this debate. It's no different than what's going on here in the US. It's no different than what's going on in Europe. You look at right now in Europe, in Germany, you know, they are— they have a blackout because of the energy crisis. The German government now is going about to change. Yeah, get this, guys. They're gonna change the, uh, like the, the, the heating systems in homes. You know, we all know what's leading to that is the crisis of the— is the energy crisis, and Germans are not able to afford that kind of stuff. So that's why you see in the demonstrations in Europe, which by the way Western media is not disclosing at all. So apart from this pact, the pact of the AUKUS, that is All the three countries, the United States, the UK, and Australia, have agreed to work together more closely and share and develop cutting-edge military technology across a range of fields. Uh, I don't know about that statement wording. It's very— sounds very good, sounds very interesting. But are we— let's be honest, are we going to really disclose the secret of our military technology to the Aussies? No, we're going to be using Australia as a launching pad should there be any conflicts in Asia, which, by the way, I am seeing one on the horizon as we speak. It concerns me a great deal as to why are we fomenting tensions over there. And the big elephant in all this will be the question about how India is thinking about all this. I am sure the Indian government has realized that it's being used, you know, but do they understand why? And let me just tell you from my side, thinking from the Western perspective, The reason why we wanted to use India is because we don't want India to get closer to China so they can advance BRICS. Because now BRICS— Brazil, India, Russia, China, and South Africa— it's going to become even more sort of stronger on the global stage, economically speaking. So, and when you have India and China 2 large economies, almost 40— 35%— 38 or so of the world population, large markets. So you can just see why we wanted to prevent that from ever happening. So what we're going to end up doing is taking advantage of India. I don't know if India is aware of this or not. Well, I hope you find this very informative. Like I always say, guys, I like to keep it short. Concise, to the point. Always, as always, remember, geopolitics impacts your daily life in more ways than one. Till next time, guys, bye-bye.
