BRICS Condemns Israel War on Gaza! Sanctions Next? Will India Object?

In a live, audience‑driven YouTube session dated December 1, 2023, the host (David Oualaalou) examines the recent BRICS virtual summit’s condemnation of the Israel‑Gaza conflict, the use of the term “war crimes,” and the possibility that the bloc might impose sanctions on Israel. He interrogates the internal dynamics of BRICS, focusing on India’s comparatively soft stance, South Africa’s leadership in calling for ICC investigations, and the broader implications of BRICS+ expansion (adding Egypt, Ethiopia, Argentina, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Iran). The discussion weaves in historical analogies (apartheid, Hungary’s EU stance), strategic interests (India‑Israel military ties, China‑Israel investments), and the credibility of collective action versus individual member dissent. Audience participation is used to gauge opinions on whether India would block sanctions, the role of other members, and the impact on the emerging multipolar order. The host also shares personal context, channel logistics, and future content plans, while repeatedly urging critical, respectful engagement.

Hello everybody and welcome to Geopolitical Trends. So excited to be with you on December 1st. Yeah, 30 more days for the end of the year and '23 will be in the past. Very interesting. There's something I always used to say to myself at the end of every year. I'll ask myself, why have I accomplished the year before? So give yourself some time and ask yourself the questions: where you are today in comparison to a year ago? And that's how you keep progress of yourself. So anyway, this is not a philosophy, philosophy or psychology. I don't talk about that. So excited to be with you guys because I have an interesting topic for you, uh, that has to do with literally decision of BRICS. And there are other complications going on with BRICS. I just find out yesterday and I'm gonna fill you in then we'll have a great conversation. Prepare question or two for the end. And also, just to let you know, I'm working on two stories for you for tomorrow and maybe even Sunday. Yeah, because that's how you keep up with what's going on. So before I move forward, please type in where you are joining me from. I will greatly appreciate it. I know some of you, like Phil, like Alan, I'm seeing— I, I know you guys from, but for who— those who might be first time here. So please type in what part of the world you are joining me from, and if this is your first time on this channel here, please make sure to subscribe. I would greatly appreciate it. I want to give a quick thanks here, and there's only one person I'm going to give a quick thanks to, is for who bought me coffee this morning. Yeah, Sugarland, that's the, uh, anonymous name used for— because I don't disclose, there's no name there. So When people don't give me the authorization to disclose the name, I wouldn't disclose it. So the short, it says Sugarland. So thank you so much for buying me coffee. I truly, truly appreciate it. So, so let's start with the key questions, guys. And the key questions that we're gonna have to ask is, to what extent can BRICS impact— Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa— can impact the trajectory of the events taking place in the Middle East? Between Israel and Hamas, or Palestine in general term. Second question, will we need to ask, like I said yesterday regarding Spain, whether it will move forward or not, the same question, it's applicable to BRICS. Will it move forward with sanctioning Israel? Straightforward. And the third question, now if we said, uh, BRICS will move forward, will all members agree on this initiative of policy. Mind you, India already stands out. How it stands out? It's by its position, which was comparatively softer in comparison to other BRICS members. And this is based on the statement of its foreign minister, uh, Mr. Jaan Saakar, who stated, and I quote, you know, there was a need for restraint and immediate humanitarian support. Well, hold on a second, Mr. Foreign Minister. What restraint are we talking when Israel couldn't do it? So you can't be just using terms to justify one position when you couldn't make a decision, because we all know the close relationships between India and Israel. It's not a secret. And I'm going to touch on this one, uh, briefly as I move forwards. And this is where the importance of understanding really is. BRICS in possession to sanction Israel? What do you guys think? Let's start with this. I'll ask you the question. Do you believe, in your opinion, BRICS is in possession to sanction, uh, Israel? Because if it does, what does it say about the new geopolitical order? Yeah, so so just type in, uh, in the, uh, in the chat box please what your opinion is about whether, in your opinion, BRICS is in possession to, uh, uh, impose sanctions on Israel. Oh, I see someone here from Finland. Good to have you, Ope Teka, uh, Lumen. Good to have you from Finland. It's been a while since I've been in Helsinki. And by the way, I heard about Finland two days ago that they shut down the last border crossing with Russia. I think Finland is, is pursuing some policies that's going to backfire. Same what's going on in Europe anyway. But so good to have you here anyway. Uh, uh, An, uh, Anjuna Deep from Malaysia, good to have you. Uh, Zoom 2035 from Washington, good to have you here. Ael Montreal, good to have you. Maria Del Carmen from Switzerland, good to have you. Joe Joseph Roy from Boston, good to have you. Kenneth Joseph from Senegal and Max from Malaysia, hi to you as well. Uh, John Julia Jones, an avid supporter of the channel, all channels, uh, from Colorado, good to have you here. So very excited. Oh, oh, Partha from Mumbai, India, good to have you here, sir. Good to have you. It really very fascinating about Indian citizens. Let me just put this for the record, guys. Please do not, do not lump all the Indians are being bad. No, when we talk about India, we're talking about the Modi's government. They are Indian citizens themselves. They don't see eye to eye with what Modi is doing because he's dragging India down the, the, the, the down the hall, per se. And this is one of the idea when you say— when you see and hear the, the foreign minister saying, oh, we have to, uh, request for restraints. And no, you are playing wishy-washy here. You couldn't take a stand by saying no, what Israel is committing, or those are atrocities, straightforward. So, so good to have you here. We truly appreciate you being here. Uh, now the idea of those who might not even be familiar with the background story is that the BRICS held a virtual summit, believe it or not, you know. And usually, as you know, BRICS usually focus, uh, on economic issues. Well, now it's calling for an end to war crimes, and I put this in quotes because that's their part of their, uh, uh, press release, uh, war crimes committed in Gaza conflict. So, so the leaders of those emerging economies have now officially and openly— and by the way, this happens few days ago, you know, and I usually, for me, you, as you all know, guys, I have to check on stories. I can't come to the air right away and share something without verifying. Like, for example, I'm gonna be doing a video for you either tomorrow or the next day. Some major development just took place in the Middle East. But I have to confirm the information without revealing anything, anything yet till I confirm it. The moment I check that out, I'm gonna come on the air and share this with you. Or same thing here for BRICS. It's been a couple days, uh, and they've been calling for Israel to end its war on Gaza, okay? The, the end of the atrocities. As a matter of fact, they use the term war crimes. As a matter of fact, and like I said earlier, it was a virtual summit that was chaired by South African President, uh, Cyril Ramaphosa. So the BRICS grouping denounced the attacks on civilians. This is what is important to understand. And with many leaders calling the forced displacements of Palestinians within Gaza or outside the territory war crimes. Now here is the interesting thing. When the statements came out, out of BRICS, I think they didn't want to put India in a bad spot, because when it says with many leaders, India didn't fit in that description. No, because India didn't call that war crimes. But India is part of BRICS. And this is what I always say, India, in my opinion, government, that is, it's always gonna be the weak link. It's gonna be the one that will be undermining the policies. Even hypothetically, we move forward with the, with the question that I asked you, whether BRICS is gonna move forward or not. Let me, let me see what your answer is, guys, because it's very important to understand these aspects of it. Because should this move forward It has major impact onto how we see in the world under the microscopes of the new geopolitical order. That is what it means. And, and, and this is what we're trying to understand. Is BRICS just talking, or is it can follow through with deeds? As you always— you all remember, watch what a man does, not what he says. This is always— I see the, the, uh, the interesting aspects. Now, Axlam, you said BRICS doesn't have that power. Fair, fair arguments. Uh, let me share it here with the, with the whole community so they can see what we're talking about here. So BRICS don't have— BRICS doesn't have the, uh, power. Well, I can see your arguments on that, and this is what I was— my next point is hypothetically BRICS will move forward with sanctions, what if one of the members objected to it? Because it has to be collective. This is the same setting, because you can't move with sanctions with only 3 countries or 2 countries. Either all or not. It's the same setting that is going on at the UN Security Council, United Nations Security Council, with the 5 permanent members. So when any of the 5 permanent members vetoed or objected to, to, uh, uh, some sort of, uh, proposal or or whatever that might be, that decision is killed. That's it. Could it be the same? And could this signal, signal why the foreign minister of India, Jaan Saakar, said what he said about, oh, we have to ask them for restraining? Didn't move forward. I'll let you decide on that one. You're smart enough to know because you've been around with me at least here for long time now that you start to at least have a different approach to when evaluating global affairs. You won't fall what the masses are doing. You won't fall just follow footsteps blindly just because the media said no. No, you're very, very, very smart. And I'm not saying it to be Mr. Nice because you guys know about that about me. I don't sugarcoat things. You, you, you have developed thinking. I can just see through your comments, through your questions. You know, I've, I've been around long enough to know how to read between the lines, and, and this is why I wanted to have your opinion into how do you see whether BRICS will have the gut to move forward and impose sanctions on Israel. Now, as I said, they used today BRICS in the statements released they use the term war crimes. And this is another statement also stated, and I quote here, we condemn any kind of individual or mass forcible transfer and deportation of Palestinians from their own land, end of quote. That was the summary read, uh, from the chair of the, of the, of the meeting. So now Here is where the disconnect in BRICS that I see because of an element— you all know which country, right? The group which did not issue a joint declaration. That is significant right there, which means what in a simple language? That there was not a consensus, 100% agreement on all that. This is where the, the, the challenge to that. No, so just to tell you, to go back to my point about how I see you now thinking differently, approaching foreign affairs differently, thinking about geopolitics differently. I, I'll share a quick thing because the masses around the world, not just here in the US, where some of us here in the US are clueless about what's going on anyway, let alone ask them where is Gaza is located anyway. So what happened? I just came across that it was a clip. Listen carefully. It was supposed to be a clip released by Fox News, and that clip was nothing but an act. So it's a big scandal and a farce of the army, of the Israeli army that was on Fox News. What happened? The failure of the Israeli army to reach— listen carefully, guys— the failure of the army Israeli to reach the scene of acting, specifically in directing a failed dramatic clip in which the correspondents of the American Fox News Channel participated, and was considered a major scandal for the occupation army and the channel all together. That is what I'm saying. You guys now have developed that kind of analytical thinking. You start to see and assess and evaluate issues, whatever the— you know, YouTube is full of whatever here and there. You know, it's, it's nice to hear different— it's nice to hear the— I'm almost knocked this down. It's nice to hear different objectives, but you have to be very careful how you consume that product. And this is why, for me— and I speak for myself here— why I take my time before I come on the air to ensure that the information is factual and accurate, because my credibility is on the line here. So, so as you all know, the BRICS made up Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa all major— consider major economies. You know, there are those who will disagree with that because some already have said— and I did a video on this— as to when some politicians in India said that India will be the next power or will overtake China or something into that effect, which was laughable to begin with. India is in no position to even come close, economically speaking, to where China is. Those are facts, straightforward. Like somebody put a comment about when I had the interview with the Jassan Bandari and said, well, this guy, I have no respect for the guy. Well, wait a minute, you have no respect for him because he spoke the truth. What would have happened if he would have told you what you want to hear? He will be your hero. And this is where you realize how This individual, whoever, whoever, whomever put the comment, I answered him back and I said, no, you're wrong. You just not willing to hear the truth. You didn't want to accept the truth. What Mr. Bandahari said about India is correct, straightforward. So this the same arguments can be made here about how now if BRICS decide to go ahead with the sanctions That speaks volume. And from one specific aspect— what is that aspect, let me ask? Well, that aspect, it has to do with global south. Now, there is a problem going on at the time of this recording with one guest— or, well, not one guest, one in one, uh, one member country that's been invited to BRICS. I am waiting on confirmation to do a video for you about that. I'm not going to disclose the country, but I will let you know, uh, once I confirm the information, then I will do that. So, and mind you, all this coming at a time when earlier this year, as you may know, and I did a video on it, BRICS had agreed to add, uh, and I have a map here for you guys because I want you to see. I'm gonna leave it here for you guys. Yeah, BRICS had, uh, sort of extended or expands to add Egypt, Ethiopia, Argentina, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and Iran in 2024, which means next year. So, so this is where I do see very major changes coming up to how if And once again, it's a big if— if BRICS decide to move forward with the sanctions of Israel. So why is this— will be, will be a seismic change on the global stage? Is because it will highlight now how much influence BRICS wields on the global stage. Now, there are those analysts in the West who said no way, BRICS won't have any impact, you know. And I can agree to their argument to a degree. I can see the logic in their argument. Why? It's because the internal dynamics within BRICS that is preventing it from to move forward as a cohesive entity. This is where the issue is going to be for BRICS. And when you hear A country like, for example, to go back to the idea of what the Prime Minister, uh, uh, Mr. Jean Sarkar, stating, and I quote again, there was a need for restraint and immediate humanitarian support. To me, it doesn't mean a thing. What does it mean? Yeah, if you couldn't straightforward condemn something that is against the rules You know, and mind you, even BRICS itself did not shy away from criticizing Hamas itself for conducting that operation, which was a violation of the law, international law, that is. So it's fair, it is fair. The only question you need to ask is what led Hamas to do or to conduct that operation. That is the key question. I mean, we all understand the dynamics of all this and why that is. And this is where, uh, sort of you look at this picture of the BRICS and why it was important, because as I said, it will reflect on the Global South. When you look at about since Israel launched its, uh, its attacks or destruction or whatever campaign, whatever term you want to use, you know, uh, which led to over 13,000 people dead in, in, uh, which was, by the way, in violation of international law because you don't target civilian locations, you don't target hospitals, you don't target— there are certain requirements under international law. But who's observing international law? It comes down to— because here's the question: do you think, in your opinion, and, and one of you guys has asked the question, logical, will Israel be, be, be pursued by the ICC? Will it be brought to justice? What do you guys think? But here is the thing about BRICS. Since, uh, since this operation started with— let's just look at it in Africa because that's where the virtual summit, uh, uh, was led, uh, by, uh, South African, uh, uh, President, uh, Ramaphosa. Millions of people across Africa, and not only in Africa, you look at Asia, you look at the Middle East, Europe Yeah, Europe is so-so. You all saw the state— the, the, uh, posting that I shared with you about the G7 foreign ministers and their arguments. Europe is weak. Europe is gone. This is why you're seeing now the rise of the far right, starting from Spain, Italy, Netherlands, and you're seeing more on the horizon. But whether that is going to translate to to a different policy, I, I am still putting question mark. I can conclusively say yes till I see the type of policies they're going to embark on. So, so all this calling for— because we all watch the demonstrations, I don't know if you did or not, but I did see some not based here in the US because the media won't show that. And all of those marches were calling for free Palestine. I saw one just yesterday In Jordan, massive amount of people descended to the street because Jordanian people versus the monarchy are on the opposite ends. The monarchy is playing with words. This is why the King of Jordan, he doesn't give a hoot about the Palestinians. He cares about the survival of the monarchy and to put his son in charge when he's moved, moved on. Well, to me, where do you stand? Where is your courage, man? King, where are you? That's to me hypocrisy. But again, we all know how those things work, right? Well, the people in Jordan, Jordanian people descended to the streets. The king couldn't tell them no. He has no right of doing that. So we also do demonstrations and marches for free Palestine and so forth. Calling for ceasefire, but now they are calling also for a time for two-state solutions back. That goes back, by the way, to the 1967 borders. That's how it is in Africa specifically. Uh, the— in Africa, at least I'm familiar with that part because that's what I did the research on this one. They have accused the United States of hypocrisy. They have accused the United Kingdom of hypocrisy, and they accused the European Union for hypocrisy, hypocrisy. And I agree with them wholeheartedly, 1,000%. The hypocrisy, that's what we are. When I say we, governments, you all know what I'm referring to here. So because when they start calling, they, the US, the UK, the European Union, about this human rights you know, and at the same time supporting the war crimes. Where do you stand? That's, to me, uh, it's, it's, it's beyond hypocrisy. That's the way I see it. So I had a chance to read, uh, uh, some sort of, uh, uh, a report by an analyst in, uh, in South Africa. I'm not going to give the name here because you got to give credit where credit is due. By the name Stephen Groods. He's an analyst of the South African Institute of International Affairs. You know, it was spot on, spot on. And then usually it's not likely for me to come and sort of say or endorse something till I know if it's factual. And, and, and, and sort of, he was right, he was right, spot on. Basically, based on his report also, he said, and I quote here, Uh, he said that Israel actions are in clear violation of international law, and this is a quote, and that the collective punishment of Israel— of Palestinian civilians by Israel is a war crime tantamount to genocide. And this is exactly what Ramaphosa said and was reported by Mr. Stephen Gertz. Very, very interesting. This leads me now to address India, because I can't shy away from addressing that, because to me it's problematic. It is problematic when you have an entity and you get one element in it that is, you know, the stance is comparatively so soft. Why is it soft unless there is an interest? What the interest is that Israel and India They do have some close relationship. As a matter of fact, when I was in Washington, we came across an information that Israel has shared some military technology with India. Well, usually we didn't, but Israel went behind our backs. The question is why. Are there— you know, I've heard, and please correct me if I'm wrong, that there are Jewish individuals in India, living in India. Which is nothing wrong with that, uh, like any other minority. They have the right to exist, they have the right to thrive and, and, and prosper and so forth. No, but to me it's not about that. The ne— the, the, the, the me— to me the concern is this kind of statements sort of signal to what lies ahead as far as the policies that BRICS might embark on. Remember, it's going to expand. But if, if it's going— if BRICS is going to expand in chaos, it's useless, it's worthless. You're giving now— you meaning BRICS in this case— giving the Western institutions, the think tanks and so forth, the ammunition to say, see, we told you BRICS is weak, BRICS is useless. It's because there is no cohesiveness. Its cohesive policies are fragmented. Why? Because you got a member like, for example, India. In this case, we probably object to even imposing sanctions. What do you guys think? Let's, let's go with the hypothetical. If sanctions to be imposed, do you think, in your opinion, India will object to that? So just type in the answer, please. In the chat box. And what's interesting about all this within BRICS is you look at also the developments that just took place the day before, or yesterday, yeah, at the UN, with China wrapping up its presidency as far as the UN Security Council, the 15-member, you know, because I, I saw an image, I, I'm gonna put the link for you guys, of Mr. Wang Yi, the foreign minister, with most of the Arab League, uh, uh, heads of states, or the foreign ministers, I'm sorry, the foreign ministers. So because China has hosted, as you may know, a delegation of Muslim countries, officials and organizations seeking sort of, uh, uh, permanent ceasefire regarding, regarding the, uh, the Israeli, uh, uh, Palestinian conflict. Itself. And this is where I see the— do we call it double standard? Do we call it— I don't know— where I see India has not been vocal the same way Iran's, uh, the same way China's been, the same way Brazil, the same way Russia, the same way Argentina. But Argentina's stance is going to change. You know why? Because the new elected, uh, President Malay Jafar has just converted from Christianity to Judaism. So I'm gonna be doing a video for you. There are some information, I'm waiting for a confirmation of it. So, so this is why India decided, no, uh, we're gonna keep our soft stance on this because, uh I mean, I even came across that India has cracked down on pro-Palestinian marches in India, which means what? That means he's siding with Israel. Hey, more power if that is what India wants. But at the same time, when you are a member of a group, of an entity, I'm not saying you just do whatever, but this is like, you know, this is like an open crack on the— if, if I may use the term That's showing where everybody stands. Well, everybody stands here and India stands by itself on the other side. How long can India hold that? You can't be on both sides of the fence forever, and I believe that's coming to an end. India is going to find out that the US ain't gonna be there for India. India is going to end up holding the end of the stick, politically speaking. So, and this is what India is— this is— I'm sorry, this is what the US hopes for. Is the bad— is the biggest benefactor is the US. Why? Because he wanted to see a cracks, a split inside BRICS that is conducted and led by none other than a member from within. And this is why that argument has been called for Why not replace India? There are plenty— Indonesia, Malaysia, Iran, you name it. Well, Iran's going to come over, so— but there are those who saying no, you don't wait till— but again, there is a protocol there. Uh, will India do the right thing and remove itself? I don't know, and I can't, I can't just assume, and I don't do assumptions here, you know. I speak what is factual. So for now, I don't see that happening anytime soon. And this is where I see the challenges that lies ahead for BRICS as it grows. So, uh, and, and, and remember, we are not singling India here because not just India that has ties with Israel, there are other countries including China. China has ties with Israel, you know. Now let's, let's, uh, let's put the dots on the letters, as we say. We put the arguments on the table, you know. And the reason being because China has huge investments in Israel. Yeah, it's not a secret, it's just not known as much. So India, however, has far deeper historic ties with Israel. And usually, this is where I Well, us in DC, we find out about it. Usually India enjoys a military and technological partnership with Israel, and we kind of frown at that because the technology we share with Israel is supposed to be for Israel, not for India, because we never want India to move forward. So, so now it's going to become— this is why, do you think, uh, France has asked India to block Iran? Because remember, so this is why, uh, uh, with, with, with Iran coming in to join the group, uh, India might not be able to influence how the new BRICS+ will react to Israel. And this is exactly what analyst Cruz said, and I concur with him with that. And this I will confirm it for you either tomorrow or on Sunday. But what I'm waiting for, the confirmation or the specific thing that just happened in the Middle East, it's not even reported yet openly, so I'm going to share it with you. So this is where I see those main challenges that lies ahead. And again, it spells trouble for me as a geopolitical analyst watching, because I've been watching this trend. It spells trouble. That's how I see it. Now, how the BRICS gonna— because its credibility, its reputation is gonna be, uh, sort of impacted one way or another. Remember, the world is shifting to a multipolar that I've always said will be based on economic blocks, not ideology. Well, if we are to ask what does India have to offer, yes, a large population. But if you have a large population that does not have a purchasing power because of the poverty, what is it? It's useless. That is the way I see it. That is the way I see it. Oh, uh, Army with Harmony, thank you very much for your super sticker. Truly appreciate it. I really appreciate it. Thank you. This is where I see the challenges. And I'm looking, guys, at your answer, uh, what is Russia-China military alliance? Uh, and I'll address this towards the end. All talks— no, no, no, no, no, it's not. There's a lot, a lot of things behind the scenes that if, if I am even to address that, we need another 2 hours to, to cover that. But I would be happy to do a special session just on that. But, but the military aspect, just remember who shut down yesterday or the day before the Israeli missiles. Syria. That was Iran. But Iran, where did Iran get that stuff? From Russia. So this is where that difference is. This is where, uh, I see the, the challenges that lies ahead for, for, for BRICS moving forward. So now you may ask yourself— I'm gonna have a sip of water here, my coffee is cold. Oh well, we drink this one. I forgot. Excuse me. The reason why South Africa is taking the lead— why do you think South Africa is taking the lead on all this? The one that is calling for the ICC to investigate the Prime Minister of Israel. Why do you think that is? Can you guys type in, in the chat box? Like, again, I just like to engage you into the conversation, and I'd like— and I really like to read your inputs because to me that's, that's how I learn about you. Just sometimes, you know how you can tell about somebody just from his or her writing? You know, I used to tell my students sometimes when I do writing assignments, I have them write a paper And the whole idea of it is that's how I learned about my students through. So why do you think India— well, I'm sorry, why do you think South Africa is taking the lead, in your opinion? And remember, those are just opinions. There is no right or wrong. Not— no right or wrong. So you're absolutely correct, Samina, uh, India likes to play both sides, but it won't last forever. In geopolitics, you can't be wishy-washy. We are witnessing this right now, this turmoil that's going on with the American system. Why we are losing the global dominance is because we're playing wishy-washy, both sides. We're saying we stand for rule of law, but we're doing the opposite. You know, you look at just yesterday with the death of Henry Kissinger. I mean, who, who's gonna talk nice about the guy? You know, I know he's dead and all that, but how can you forget the 3 million Cambodians that been sacrificed. How can you forget what took place in Latin America? It's from Latin America to Cambodia and anything in between, including the Middle East. So, so you're absolutely correct. Uh, somebody wrote, I love Modi. Lord, you are entitled to that, you know, as long as you understand that the policies Mr. Modi is embarking on is sinking India down the hole. That means Indian citizens will not prosper. Because Mr. Modi's policies have failed. Mr. Modi is not equipped for the prime ministership. That's the reason. But you are entitled to your opinion, and on this channel here, on this platform, you are welcome to express your opinion as long as it is respectful. Because I will not tolerate nor allow disrespect, not just for me. This is not about me. It's about my viewers, and I will push hard because my viewers mean a lot to me, and I watch for that. All right, let me see your answer here, guys, if you put that in. Why, why South Africa is taking the lead into all this? Yeah, and he's taking the lead, you know. Of course, all the, the BRICS members, but South Africa is taking the lead for a reason. Why it's calling for ICC to investigate, uh, the Prime Minister for, uh, of Israel for war crime. And I know there's a delay here for the answers to come up here, but, uh, oh, Ali, oh, oh, Alan MCN, thank you so much for your Super Sticker. Truly appreciate it as always. I truly appreciate you for that. Okay, I don't see the answer here, guys, and I'm gonna move on because we don't want to— okay, let's move on here. The reason why South Africa is taking lead is because of the experience with the apartheid, the apartheid rule that took place for over 4 decades. Basically, what South Africa seeing in the Palestinians is its own a sort of struggle that is now South Africa. Of course, there's no more apartheid there and so forth with Nelson Mandela. Even the one, and you all know about the guy, was never into power. You admire a leader like that. I wish there are many Mandelas in today's world because what we have, the leaders we have are nothing but puppets. They are incompetent. You know, Nelson Mandela from jail to presidency, but never cared for the status and title. All that stuff doesn't mean a thing. Here is the damn evil— Kissinger died. What did he take with him except that dark history and the suffering that's been caused, that he caused for the people through our foreign policy? So, so the reason I'm sharing this with you is to understand that sometimes the— this is where history comes in. South Africa had a reason for why I wanted to push for the ICC beside being a member of the ICC. You all remember when a Russian— when the summit of the BRICS in South Africa and the Russian president was thinking about going what the ICC said, and of course South Africa being a member had to obey the rule. Now why India, if it is a member of BRICS, is not obeying by the rules of the group? This is where I see the double standards of India. India does not— when I see India government does not realize it's gonna be holding the end of stick at the end. And Indian citizens, citizens that's gonna even further into poverty and despair. I don't talk about India because I don't like it. No, no, no, no, no, no, no. The other human being like me and you or like you and I, they deserve everything. It's because the history of India as a civilization— sad to see what it is because of the failed policies. That is why, that is why. It is what's interesting about South Africa is that the parliament voted to shut down the Israeli embassy in Pretoria. You know, again, major turning point. Tell me if you have heard about this in your mainstream media, whatever part of the world you're in, please. Yeah, because I didn't hear about this. What I'm sharing with you, it's not from here. And there are those from other countries. You take like, for example, Barcelona, which is nothing but a region. Yeah, but it's still significant to cut off the ties. And this major development that just took place this morning, yesterday, last night, this morning in the Middle East, which I will report for you, or which I will report to you about, suggests same direction here. So now you have other countries, and here is the interesting thing: those are not European countries that took stand You got Bangladesh, you got Bolivia. Bolivia, that is— I've been in Bolivia, I went to La Paz, and very laid-back people, very wonderful. You got Djibouti just last week. They all submitted, in addition to South Africa by the way, all those submitted a referral to the International Criminal Court, the ICC, to investigate war crimes. Did we see any? No, we didn't. So, and this is why I'm saying it behooves BRICS— yeah, and I say it— it behooves BRICS to think twice before they utter certain terms like sanctions when they know they might not be able to follow through. And if you are not able to follow through, that's where you shatter your credibility. If BRICS, the other members know that India is going to undermine them, then they need to negotiate and talk about that before they make a public statement. And this is why sometimes even with YouTube you have to be careful when you see that headlines that says, oh, BRICS, this BRICS, that's it, impose— well, hold on a second. Now you, you can And I've seen some, I've seen some headlines there. I usually don't watch that because the moment I see that, I know it's nothing but hypes. So this is the reason why I like you guys to make sure you read through, you think through before you jump to that conclusion, because what it is versus how things are, are two separate things. Alessandra, thank you so much for your Super Sticker. Truly Appreciate it. And by the way, guys, for those, uh, it was David, his name is David, alerted me that the link to Buy Me a Coffee wasn't working. It's fixed, it is fixed. And if you guys want to support the channel, uh, here is the links to Buy Me a Coffee, or either become a channel supporters or a member. So I appreciate it anyway, because to me that tells me how much you appreciate my work, you appreciate my content, because this is not something, uh, you all know this, I don't need to beat the dead horse here. So I, I give up my teaching job to do this because I believe in this, I truly do. So that is the reason why. And there are those like, well, you don't wrestle. Now, when you are committed to public service, because to me I look at it as public service, Yes, you have to make a living. Yes, you do this and do that, but you still have to think in terms of how can you serve humanity in whatever capacity. I'm not a millionaire. I'm average like you and I, you know. I do things for a living, you know. My parents passed away. My parents didn't hand me a fortune and all that stuff, and I'm glad they didn't because it makes me appreciate what I have, makes me appreciate what I earn. So, and to me, this interaction with you means a lot to me. So, and this is why I push back against those who might be disrespectful to, to my audience. I will not allow it. I will not allow it. So, but anyway, here's the link here, guys, and I usually put them on the pinned comments or description should you decide to support the channel, and I will greatly appreciate it. All right, let me Uh, oh, you are right, David K. You're absolutely correct, because ICC now, it, it just— its credibility— I mean, I've known about it way back. I was in, I was in Afghanistan, I was in, in Iraq, and I did see certain violations, and I kind of frowned upon, and I even talked to the, uh, management at that. I said, you can't do that, you can't allow that. And even the person himself, I had to go on at one point without going details because those are the sensitive side of the house. You all know how it is. And I was like, wait a minute, man, you can't do that. Well, it's like, no, you can't. Just because you are in a position of power doesn't give you the right. That just doesn't work. Well, you know, and I know that ICC didn't move an inch and didn't move an inch because We threatened the head of the ICC, who is a British citizen of Pakistani descent, by the way. And, uh, I don't know what they had on him, but that's, uh, that was the, that was the whole idea. But you're absolutely correct, David. You're absolutely correct. So, uh, all right, that's all I have to share with you about this. Like I always say, if I don't have anything of substance I get off some. I am working, FYI, I am working on the, uh, I am working on two key stories, uh, especially the one that I just came across last night, uh, that I think might end up doing for you guys right away before I'll do the, uh, president of Argentina. There are some things you need to know. That is the, uh, uh It just is gonna be, uh, I'm thinking of the, the reason why I choose certain topics and not others. I don't follow the crowd, by the way. I'm not a follower, you know. I lead. I take the lead. So I decide for me what will be of benefit to you. That's why I pick up the topics. Of course, I'm open to your suggestions, as I've always said, and I do maintain that. Speaking of suggestions, some of you have, uh, requested for me to, uh, uh, to invite Pape Escobar. Yeah, I'm trying to reach out to him. I haven't sent the tweet, I haven't heard back. So there's— I don't know. So if you guys are part of his network, whatever, let him know, hey, Dr. Oualaalou is interested in, in interview. I would be happy to have him. Same thing with Carl I still didn't hear back from him. So, so just want you to know, I do follow forward or follow up on when you send me certain guests that you would like me to interview. I do follow through that. Just sometimes I hear back, sometimes I don't. All right, let me take a question or two before I sign off here. So, okay, let's actually— I'm gonna go all the way back up. Oh, oh, oh, ah, darn it, I missed this one and I just saw some. Oh yes, here is Cosmos Ray. You are right, this is about my question for South Africa. It was because apartheid, they never forgot what happened to them. 40 years, 4 decades, Nelson Mandela never gave up. So, so absolutely correct. So there are They are acting from a historical reference. So this is why they calling for— but again, like I said earlier, if, if BRICS understood— understands and realizes that, well, we have a member that is not going to undermine, then they better think twice before they issue statements. Because here is the thing, when it comes down to global affairs, I want you to understand this, not the context matters, of course, Words tend to turn into policy sometimes. So because if the— they, BRICS, announce this one and move forward with it, that becomes a BRICS policy. We're going to impose sanctions on Israel. I mean, literally, can you imagine if these Arab countries that talk too much— can you imagine if they would have imposed oil embargo? Yeah, and this is why I— with, with all respect to Arab leaders, whatever, I don't care for them, but you respect them as a human being. They are all talks, no more, no less. It's in action that you find out. So where is the armies of— where is the massive weapons they've been purchasing from the West, from France, from Germany, from the US, from Czech, from Canada? You know, where's all that? From China itself, from Russia, some of them. Where's all that? You know, it just, it just, it tells you right there. It shows you right there what we say versus what we do. That's why always I can advise you guys with one thing: when dealing with people, when dealing with people, pay close attention to what people say versus what they do. This way you save yourself time and energy. You don't want to waste your time because any moment is gone, you're not getting it back. This is one thing you will never get back in life. Once it's gone, it's gone. It's time. So, all right, let me go back to the top and I'm gonna scroll down from all the way there and see, uh, if there are questions. And we just go from there. It's very fascinating and interesting, this dynamics, how it happens. Uh, okay, you put question, uh, how much weight would bring in the United Arab Emirates, uh, to BRICS? Uh, no, it will to a degree, but in comparison to Iran and Saudi Arabia, it won't, because United Arab Emirates, remember It has ties with Israel. So now all the 4 countries that have established ties with Israel are under the microscope: Morocco, Sudan, uh, United Arab Emirates, and Bahrain, if I'm not mistaken. So, so it won't, it, it won't carry much weight. But Saudi Arabia is different story. All right, let me see another question here. And by the way, for the channel members and supporters, remember, at the end of the month we're gonna have the exclusive Q&A that I usually do. It was, it was interesting, last one we had. So I hope you will be able, all the members, and if you are interested, just become a channel supporter or a member, whatever you feel comfortable with. And I truly appreciate it. Please, please, please hit the like button while I'm remembering that. All right, here is question from Matt. Uh, question: can we say India in BRICS is acting like Hungary, Orbán, in Europe Union in regard to Ukraine conflict? Uh, now, yes, you could, but from a different perspective. From a different perspective. Orbán is acting on behalf of his people. India is acting on behalf of the US. That is where the difference is. Now, there are those who say, no, you're wrong, Doc, because India is acting about its own interest. Yes, to a degree, but whose interest that's been shaped by or influenced by? It's by the US. So, but the analogy or the comparison is spot on. It's spot on. All right, let me, uh, oh, Francis Tango. Francis, thank you, Doctor, for show. I will watch it later and play some games now. Go enjoy it, Francis. All right, let me see another, uh, question from you here. And once again, thank you for those who, uh, posted the super sticker. Truly, uh, appreciate it. And I like the community to be involved into all this, guys. Because it's very, very important. That's how we learn. Uh, uh, Oualaalou, question: can you make a video about Jaffe Melei, Argentina, and what you thought about it? Yeah, I, I was really planning on it. I have some stuff, I'm just waiting certain confirmations. Uh, I, I was aware of his conversion from Christianity to Judaism, which just took place 2 days ago. Uh, but again, there are other aspects that I need to, to, uh, to confirm, then I will do that. And I will do it soon. I know he's been elected a few days ago, but I will. Short answer is I will. All right, let me take one more or two questions and, and I will sign off here because I need to go finish working on the one that I need to do for you tomorrow, guys. Very, very, very interesting, and that falls within my area of expertise. And I've been in, in that part of the world. And, uh, let me give you a hint, I wrote books about both. All right, let me, uh— oh yes, David Oualaalou, it will be great, assuming that I will eat dinner first, because I like to eat dinner at 6:30. 18:30. I don't eat late. Yeah, we'll be happy to— a conversation which will be for hours, for hours. We love— as a matter of fact, guys, I'm gonna share this with you while I'm on the air. Uh, once I reach certain numbers, especially for the members and supporters, I intend to do something away from here on a different platform where we all can be. So I'm thinking about it, I'm thinking about that one. So as a matter of fact, last night I was working on, on, uh, dressing up the tree for Christmas. I'll snap picture of it and share it with you guys tomorrow. I forgot to do it today. So, all right, let me look for one more question here, guys, if there is one. And, uh, and by the way, for those guests, uh, Oh, oh, hold on a second. I, I know this is not real. This is not real. China blaming US for sanctions but pushing BRICS members to do the same. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. I know this is like a bot, most likely, because I was aware of, uh, statements by the same screen name. So it's not real. No, no, your argument is zero. It's not valid. It's not a valid argument. So, and again, I welcome different opinions, you know, as long as there is respect for the community. That's to me non-negotiable. Oh, question from here from Alessandra. Question: would you do a video on Algeria? On what aspects? Yeah, if you can let me know exactly what aspects I can do the video on, I'll be happy to dig into that and, uh, As a matter of fact, I was in that region recently, uh, without disclosing locations. I was in that part of the world recently. So, so I'd be happy to if you let me know exactly which area you're looking for. Or, uh, Sardar Maronci, thank you so much for your Super Sticker. Truly appreciate it. Thank you very much. First time I see the name here, so I appreciate you being here. I appreciate you and all of you. Uh, Al, would you have George Colerway on the show? Of course, we'll be happy to. Don't be surprised if I tell you that I reached out to George a few months ago, never heard back. No, we love to. I have great respect for George, you know, somebody straight shooter. You know, there are some— somebody's been in Parliament, you know, he understands the ins and outs of what politics is all about. No, we love to have— and most likely with him a conversation will go for 2 or 3 hours, and I will do it. So if you guys are member of his whatever, let him know that, we'll be happy. But I did, just for the record, there is a record out there, I did send him a request but never heard back. So And I'll be happy to go on his show as well, should he extend an invitation. So I usually don't go much, but I'll be happy to, to— wow, that is an interesting one here, uh, question. Hong Wong, that is a good question. Besides screwing over BRICS, how will the SCO react to India? Well, we all know where, where, where that is. As a matter of fact, uh, there are some rumors into the conversation about really wanting India to take the initiative and leave on its own rather than being embarrassed and pushed out. No, to me that's, uh, of course there was the other arguments about how about the 4 other members move away, create a new type of BRICS. Yeah, but it's not— it's easier said than done because the admin stuff, the, the agreements that been, uh, signed and all that, you have to untangle from all that. And it's not an easy— look how long it took BRICS to be what it is today. So, you know, that, that's where I think the best approach is to have a, as we say, a Jesus moment with India face to face. We're all, hey, we are all four agreed that we need to have a talk. Would you consider leaving BRICS altogether? And you can go embark on your own policies and so forth. So you're absolutely correct, Hong Ruan, you're absolutely correct. It will be very, very challenging moving forward down the road. And I've— I'm not surprised. I've seen the signs, and the signs that I saw were through the statements of their foreign policy establishment, or even Modi himself, which, by the way, those are not his. He's been given the script. Modi cannot think— PM, prime minister, you give him proper respect. Cannot think at this level because Prime Minister Modi is wrapped up into the Hinduism, the nationalism, which is fine. But when you start having an ideology impacting your political decisions, you are dragging a country towards a different direction on, on, online. So, oh, oh, Ror Khan, good to see you! Finally caught you, Dr. Online. Good to have you here, man. I'm glad you did. I'm good to, good to have you here live with us here. Uh, opening a base, let me share this with you. Question: do you have an idea if the rumor about Israel opening a base in Morocco is true? No, that's just rumor. No, Morocco would not agree to that. Morocco, because Morocco now has been caught up into this agreement with Israel, of course it was a reason for Morocco why he agreed to sort of, uh, establish ties with organized Israel and so forth. Because you guys need to understand, Moroccan Jews are the most influential in the world. Don't be surprised when you go to Morocco and you travel throughout the cities, there's a lot of Moroccan Jews community in Morocco. And as a matter of fact, some members of the parliaments in Israel are of Moroccan descent. So, but as far as the base, no, that was the same argument made about the, uh, uh, AFRICOM, the Africa Command Center for the US. Morocco was approached first and they shut it down. That's why AFRICOM, or United States, end up moving it to Germany because Germany has no sovereignty, and that's where the AFRICOM is, in Stuttgart in Germany. So And then again, to my knowledge, could be things changed recently, but as I said again, I was in the region recently. I would have known about this. I would have known about it. All right guys, I hope you find this very informative. Remember again to please, uh, hit the like button and subscribe if you have not done so. I will greatly appreciate it, and I look forward to seeing you soon, and maybe as, as soon as tomorrow. So As always, remember, geopolitics impacts your daily life in more ways than one. Till next time, guys. Bye-bye.
