Once again, I am here at the fair. I just want to do a quick, uh, live here for about 15 minutes or so, but I'm gonna just, uh, blank the screen here. And it's a sea of people here. I can't cover everything, but I promised some of you guys that left a comment by me asking me if I can come back to the fair. So, so just check out this one here. So, and I'm gonna go into one pavilion here just for you guys to see. I'm closer to the area where motorcycles are, so we're gonna go over to the motorcycle area and I just do a brief, uh, uh, just show you stuff around, then, then I'll sign off. And by the way, remember to join me in about 4 hours from now for another live stream because that will be my outgoing video from this location. I am leaving this location tomorrow morning for my next destination, okay? And I have to hop on a plane, so, uh, the distance is, uh, will— I'll— you will, you will know once I get there. So let me get into the pavilion here. Where they have, uh, where they have motorcycles, by the way, guys. So check this out, check this out, the massive amount of people here. By the way, I found out that there are about 30,000 to 40,000 booths right here. Booths. So next year they're gonna have about 75,000 booths, uh, and the budget budget for this, based on what I— it costs China about $30 million to set this together. So a lot, a lot of visitors from around the world, uh, and I'm gonna just start here by showing you some, uh, scooters. You can call them scooters, small bikes, or whatever. Those are battery equipped, okay? This is, uh, I already asked someone about this one here, for example, the one I'm pointing out. It's about $250. Yeah, that's about it. Let me share, uh, the characteristics of this with you guys, and, and this way you get to see. It says right there the motor is about 1,500 watts, and, uh, it can go to up to 70 kilometers or 55 kilometers per hour. So and the cost for something is about, uh, $450. Now if the speed goes up, the price goes up, which is common sense. And that's what you are seeing right here. So, so I'm gonna just walk around, then take you to the other side where they have the, the big motorcycles here. I was looking at some bikes here because I have a bike I was here earlier and I saw this gentleman here I was talking to. So they have the bike here, but, uh, this is not a carbon fiber. Is this aluminum?
Yeah, aluminum.
So what, what's your name, huh?
My name is Sean.
You're Sean? I'm David. Is that okay if I— you see? Okay. Are you the manager here?
Yeah.
So here's the— here's Sean. He's the manager of, uh— now where is your company from?
From Jiangsu Province.
Right here in China, right? Is it in Guangzhou? Is it?
No, no, it's in Jiangsu province. It's next to Shanghai.
Next to Shanghai?
Yeah, yeah. And the designer team is in Germany.
In Germany, that's where. So you guys work, uh, the, the, the assembly of the bike is here? Yeah, but the manufacturer is in Germany?
No, manufacturing is in China. In China, design team. Yeah, the sales team is in Germany.
In Germany, okay. Now I am interested in learning about this bike right here. I'm gonna show you guys the bike. Here is the one I'm interested in. Would you be kind and just— because I'm a cyclist also, by the way, guys. When I go back home, I'm gonna start biking again using my, my, uh, my, uh, road bike. So now, is this aluminum or microfiber?
Aluminum.
Aluminum, okay.
Yeah, because, uh, if you use that carbon, it costs too much, and also the weight only get it down a little bit. Yeah, and this one is only the Oh, did you see, guys?
See, he's lifting it with one hand. He said it's not that heavy at all. How many, how many speed it has? 9 speeds. Okay, wow, wow. Now what is the cost of this? Uh-huh.
$570. Yeah, yeah. And the price is different.
Yeah, well, yeah, I, I, I, I checked my own race bike and it's a microfiber. It cost about $13,000. That's how expensive they are. So, so very, very interesting bike. So, and this is why, guys, I want to show you they have both— they are the motorcycles but also they have the bikes here. And I like this one here, but now what is the key for? Oh, check this out, guys. It's a battery, you know what I mean? I mean, is it— it's, uh, is it electric, right? Oh my gosh, 6 kilometers before you charge the battery. Wow, impressive, impressive. Now, does the bike come with the A rechargeable battery, or you have to buy the batteries separate? It comes with it, the, the battery? It comes with the bike when you buy it?
Yeah, of course.
Okay. And, and do you, do you sell also the charger for the battery? Yeah, of course. Okay. Yeah, so same with the bike. That's very, very nice.
That's a very beautiful display.
Yeah. Oh, check this out, guys. I'm gonna show you.
Yeah, yeah, you can see this is for the battery. It's only 78%. Okay. And this is for the speed, for the speed.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
And here you can see how many kilometers you have a ride. Yeah, for, for all the history. Or you can adjust it for this time.
And here, yeah, it's for the speed lever.
It's a gear. Yeah, we have 5 lever. 5 lever.
The 5, that's this, that's the speed.
Yeah.
So, so 5 speeds, that this maximum of it. Wow, very impressive. And for that price is not bad, $570. Very, very impressive. Thank you very much for showing me this one here. I appreciate it. So that's my community, I'm talking to them directly right now. So Thanks again. Bye-bye. Very wonderful people here. They are very helpful. So I'm going to move around, just show you guys more bicycles around here. They're different type and the companies, some of them I don't even know. Now, where is this company from?
Xinjiang.
Xinjiang?
Yes.
Wow. Now, who said that in Xinjiang they don't produce stuff? Look what they are producing, guys.
So removable battery.
Wow, a removable battery for the bike. Incredible. And it's produced and assembled in Xinjiang?
Yes, yes.
Wow.
We research and development it.
Yeah. What is the cost of this bike?
$650.
$600?
Yes. Wow.
$650. Yeah, that's a good bike. So I'm surprised that you guys have this in Xinjiang. I didn't know, I didn't know. So thank you for explaining to me.
Bye-bye.
All right, let's move on here. Sorry. If you notice, guys, there are so many people, so I'm gonna move away to the motorbikes. Because I need you to see that section there. So, uh, very interesting to see. I see a lot of scooters that they use here in, in, in China. It's because a lot of people buy those. They are convenient, they are, uh, battery operated, they are very quiet, and, and a lot of people are investing into those, the locals one, local ones here. And can you imagine, guys, you don't have to worry about gas, you don't have to worry about a parking, so it's convenient. I mean, check this out here, guys. Look at that. Look at this one here, guys. Incredible. Let me see the specs for this one here. Now this one is 3,000. You can see right here, guys. I'm gonna point— you can see right here, is that— it's 3,000 watts and the range is about 100 km. That's how far it goes. And the company for this is, uh, it's called Taleq. Here are more bikes. Check this out, guys. Oh, sorry, right there. Look at this one here. Now let's— I'm going to take you to the motorbikes. I, I like them, but I don't ride them, so they can be very, very dangerous. So look at this one here. I don't know which company is this. It says, it says right there, guys, it says Hangzhou Skyreach Power. That's the company that makes this. Uh, that's, that's Honda, so it's Japanese, I believe, but it's mainly, it's produced right here. Simple. Check this out, guys. Now I don't know. Hi, do you work here? Is that yours, right?
Yeah.
Is that okay if you show your face? Okay, nice meeting you. What's your name, man? Okay. Is this electric? No, it's not. No, it's not electric, guys. This bike here, this motorbike, is not electric. Check it out. Wow, is this one produced here? No, from Japan? From Thailand. Wow, I thought it was Japan. Yeah, do you guys hear that? This, this bike here is produced in Thailand. That's what it is. Incredible. I'm gonna— thank you very much. So I'm gonna show you other bikes here. That's the section I was close to, so I came to see their variety of bikes here from different, different, uh— there's another company, this one here, Chongqing Motorcycle Manufacturing. So it's all locals here. There's the name of it right there. Very, very impressive. Let me show you something else here. And I'm really now picked up my interest in when I go back home, I'm going to start cycling again because I was a cyclist. So I bought my bike in Paris. I remember in France a few years ago. It's called Spigo 5. I still have it. I'll snap picture of it when I go back and share it with you, but I'm gonna probably start riding again. So, uh, yeah, this section here is just bikes, the chain, the seats, uh, the air pump, and so forth. So I'm gonna move to the other side just to show you, for those who are interested in and motorbikes. And, uh, it was another section here that I came across that has, uh, big bikes. Uh, let, let me move down here, guys, so you can see. Uh, those are the helmets for, for the bikes. Check it out, check this out, guys. All types of helmets they have. This is from— yeah, it's like self-fitted for this one here. Yeah, there are some scooters here. Yeah, there's a Rivas here and, uh, 4x4. There's, uh, different types of bikes here, guys. There are a lot of people here. There's somebody's trying a bike. He's gonna buy. Yeah, you like it? Yeah, check it out, guys. He's riding it right here to try it. So very interesting. Oh, look at that! Oh my gosh, look at, look at this, guys! Look at this. This is traditional Chinese. Where is this dress from? Where exactly? Is there a specific region? Uh, nobody— we don't speak They don't speak English. I didn't know what to— right here in Guangzhou, the dress. Yeah, it's beautiful. Look at this, guys. That's like the one I showed you last time from— it goes back to the Han Dynasty. That was the dress that somebody told me. Huh? I'm from Texas, the US. Yeah, it's my first time in China. So those are the staff here. Is that okay if I show your faces? No, she does— she said no. I respect it, I respect it. So not everybody wants to be on a camera, so, so— but thank you though. So thank you very much, appreciate it. Yeah, she's saying have a nice day, guys. Thank you very much. It's very, very pretty dress. So there are more, more, uh Yeah, this is different. This is different style.
So yeah, more by—
everybody's like interested in learning about because those are, those are battery operated, you know what I mean? You don't have to worry about— yeah, look, look at this one. Very interesting. And by the way, guys, they keeping this place very clean, organized. Thank you. Very clean, organized. Everybody's respectful, everybody is responsible. So when, when they sit and eat and all that, they eat outside and they take the trash out and so forth. So, so I, I, I, I like when people are mindful of that. So So I'm gonna cross over the other side. This is some bikes for the kids and all that. And I wanted to show you the sections for the batteries. They have like the battery stuff. So, so yeah, more bikes here. Those are, uh, the bicycle— the bicycle seats. If you have a race bike This is the type of seats you're gonna have to have, so it's not a standard one. I remember the one I used to use. Uh, motor wheelchair here for individuals who needs that. There are more bikes here, or, or motorbikes rather. They are the standard that I see anytime I walk around town. I see a lot of similar to this, those who sell or deliver foods and so forth. It says right here, sir, sir, hablamos español. So, hola. No, so, so, interesado hablar español. May viajar de los Estados Unidos. Now, where are you from?
I'm from I'm from—
so how come you have a sign for Spanish?
For Spanish? I study Spanish in—
is that okay if I show your face?
Yeah.
Okay, you study Spanish. So you, you guys work with the companies in some Spanish country, or— yeah.
Okay, from Spain.
In Spain?
Wow.
So that's why you have the That's why I have the sign. Yeah, my ancestors are from Spain, in Sevilla, in Sevilla, and Andalusia. That's where my ancestors are, way back during the conquest. So, so it's my first time in China, and I heard about the— yeah, first time in China here, and I heard about the Canton Fair, so I wanted to come and check it out. So it's Do you have found your listings you have interest in? Uh, well, I don't do trade. I'm a consultant. I do something completely different, but I wanted to check it out to see. Yeah, so thank you very much. Have a good day. It was a wonderful guy. He just wanted to chat a little bit. They're very friendly here, guys. They're really friendly. They just, uh, will have a conversation and doesn't matter. All right, let me see one more, and I think that's it. This is the just different types of bikes. A lot of people over here, so I'm gonna step outside and, uh, I can go this side here just to show you how many people here. It's very, very packed, uh I don't have, I don't know the number exactly of the attendees. All I know is that for next year, China is already planning to have here in the fair. By the way, this fair is called China Import and Export Trade. The short term for it, they call it the Canter or the Canton Fair. That's how it's known. So what they're gonna do next, uh, next year— so I'm gonna turn around here just to go to the other side because there's not much on the other side there. Uh, they're gonna have about 74 booths in this fair, so it's gonna be even more packed. There is no way, there is no way someone can see everything here. There is no way. There is no way because it's too much, too big, and it's a major, major trade show here. I don't know if any of you guys have been in Las Vegas trade show. So if you can type in the chat box, have you ever been there and what's your impression on the Canton Fair versus that of Vegas? I know you are not here, but I'm just giving you a glimpse of how many people are attending. And this is, by the way, only one pavilion in a big building. We didn't get also to the machinery. We didn't get to the tools, electronics. I remember I had— I was looking at the map. It's only for this week. And there are a lot of foreigners here, mainly those involved in the business. And, uh, oh, good to see you, Julien. Good to see you, Maya. Your comment went up so fast and I couldn't read it, so if you can type it again, I would appreciate it. Uh, Yeah, yeah, I agree. Canton Fair is very big. There is no, I mean, just the logistics of organizing this. And I wonder why it costs China about $30 million to put this together. But on the other hand, you have companies coming over here. I'm sure there are some American companies, but given the trade tensions between the US and China, I don't see a lot of representation here. I'm not saying there are not— there are not American companies here. There are. It's just I don't see— I just don't see, uh, as many U.S. companies as— this is the company I was in. I'm going to show you the name of it right here, guys. Yeah, Telk. That's the company that is, uh, I showed you the bikes earlier. So I'm all around, people just walking, everybody's organized, everybody no issues, security here, everybody providing. Yeah, yeah, if you want to smoke, you step outside, of course, smoking section. Look at the, even, even the ground is clean. There is no mess here. So people sitting— this is a rest area where people can just sit, sit down and, and chill out there. So, uh, uh, yeah. And the Canton, by the way, the— there are more than one buildings. So I'm gonna show you just how far it goes, all the way to the end on that side, okay? And on this one here You have to cross over to the other building. You go down and, uh, yeah, Caterpillar. I did see it. Uh, I did see Caterpillar. Let me, let me go down, uh, the, the stairs here and see what's, what's down in the next, in the level below. No, this one is going up. Sorry guys, I have to find my way around. Uh, as I said, I'm glad, I'm really thankful to one of you guys. Sorry I couldn't remember the screen name of the person who suggested to me to attend the Canton Fair while I'm here. So, so, hi, where are you from, huh? Oh, here's somebody. Is that okay if I show your face? Yeah, here's somebody from the Netherlands. First time here? Yeah, yeah, first time. Yeah, do you like it here? First time in China? Yeah, also. Oh, same here, man. So, so we— yeah, see, there are Europeans here. What do you think of this?
Nice. I'm looking for some bicycle things.
Bicycle? Yeah, I do. I cycle back home. As a matter of fact, I bought some of my gear in the US, in Texas. Ah, okay.
Yeah. And you're vlogging?
Yes, I am. With my community. I have a wonderful community here. Yes.
Yeah.
Oh, you want— hey guys, he's asking, he's asking if he can follow me. What do you guys think? Yes or no? Please type in, in the chat box.
How many people looking at this moment?
Uh, right now it's hard to tell. Uh, oh, Dr. O. You can see over everything. They said yes. No, I, I have to— yeah, they say yes. Uh, you have to go to Geo— Geopolitical Trends. Okay, uh, hold on a second, guys. I'm going to help this gent. What's your name, by the way?

That's me, that's me. That is correct. I don't call them followers. Those are my community. It's, it's— we build this community for, for Yeah, yeah, I talk about global affairs. I'm also a professor of international relations, so— Oh sure, if you ever— when you just put a comment there and I'll be happy to respond to you. Nice talking to you, Mark. So what a small world, whoever thought so. So yeah, uh, I was reading that the last sign Yeah, I'm gonna go, uh, let me guys show you just outside here. Yeah, this is the other side. See the other building over there? That's part of the fair as well. So it's huge, it's big, and traffic is crazy. But hey, that's part of it, that's part of it, and should be no complain because No issue. Oh my gosh, she's waving! Is that okay if I show your face? Look at that, she's just waving. Hello to you as well. Now, where are you from? Where? What part in China? Yeah, no, I know Shanghai. Yeah, yeah, I'm gonna go back to Shanghai later on. Before I leave back home.
So maybe you go back to Shanghai, maybe you can have a check factory near to Shanghai, go by car to the port.
Okay, so— oh, it's the— oh, she's representing her company here.
That—
oh, that's the name. Is that the name right there? Yeah, that's the company name, right? Yes. Yeah. Yeah, that's the company now. So they are into the biking or cycling business, right? Oh, good. Uh, I'm— yes, I am. I'm from Texas, the United States. Yes. Yeah, it's my first time in America— in China, rather. Huh? Uh, yeah, why not? If you have an extra one, I can— thank you. She was kind enough to give me a catalog. You need my business card? Hold on a second. I thank her. She's very friendly here. So, uh, let me see. I have to— yeah, if you can hold this one, please. No, no, no, no, no, I can't cancel that. My community is waiting for me there. Yeah, they are live, they are watching. So, so here is my business. Yeah, yeah, sorry guys. Here's my business card. I know you give it with two hands. In China's tradition, when you hand the business card, you don't hand it with one hand, you hand it with two. All right, nice talking to you. Bye-bye. Yeah, look at that, guys. So many people around and very friendly, very, uh, very, very nice. It's just they are, they are so respectful and no issues there. So, so I'm gonna go down here. This one here, guys, they have a shuttle that comes over, picks up people. See that one? It's well organized. This way will be, uh, you know, orderly movements for people. It won't be crowded. And look at the shuttles just coming over and picking up people here who wants to cross over the other side. You can also walk the side if you want, it's up to you. And look, everything is moving smoothly, very, very, very, very nice. So okay, I'm gonna move back to the elevator or the stairs here and go down Next level, and I will sign off here, guys. All right, guys, I'm gonna sign off here, and remember to join me for my outgoing live stream that I'm gonna do in about, uh, 3 hours from now. And because tomorrow morning I will be leaving the city here, and, uh That's it, to my next destination. So, so I look forward to chatting with you in about 2 or 3 hours.
