Political Trendings or Truth Matters. Excited to be with you right here in Shenzhen. I am right here at BYD, as I promised you. So we're gonna be taking a look at the cars, the different cars they have, give you an idea. I hope I can buy one and take back home to me with me. So let's take a look at the first one here. So what you're looking at here, guys, uh, this is, uh, this is like, this is about $20,000. There is a reason for what this is considered a luxury vehicle. This one around the upscale level is about 235,000 yuan, but this one goes about 700 kilometers before you charge it again. So this model is considered a luxury. So we're going to take a look inside. As I said, this is about $20,000 or so. We're going to take a look inside and see. All right, let's check this out. Wow, wow, wow, wow, wow! Look at this, guys. For somebody my height, there is enough space into all this. And the dashboard, you're looking at almost, uh, a computerized, because that's all of them. And by the way, Most of the cars here in Shenzhen are electric cars, so quiet. BYD is big because this is home— Shenzhen is home of BYD. So as you noticed, this is the stick shift, very, very upscale stuff, guys. And to me, for $20,000, this is a big deal and it's great deal. So I did ask them about if they can ship it to the US. They said they can. The only challenge is going to be the US is going to charge me 100% tariffs on it, which is not right, but you know how it is because it's a Chinese model. But as far as the comfort, I mean, it's incredible when you look at the car here, and I rode one for like the equivalency of Uber. They are so comfortable, and it has all the luxury things you can think of. So I'm gonna step out of this one here and we're gonna sit in the back. And if you notice the door, guys, this is very, very, very detailed as far as the detail they have on this. It's a luxury car, this. It's considered luxury. This is the back seat. And look at, guys, as I said, I'm a tall guy, but I have enough legroom. Very, very upscale. Check this out, it's already— the windows are already tinted. And once again, if you look at my head right here on the ceiling, I got enough space with the lights here if you need to read. It's just so luxurious. I mean, the way I look at it, because for us in the US, a car like this is not possible. $40,000, and here it is, $20 grand. So, but again, this is a luxury because you can get a BYD for about $13,000. And once again, you can sit 5 here comfortably. Uh, this way you control all the sunroof. It's very, very luxurious here. So you can just see here, you can open it all the way or close it. So Very, very interesting car here. Now we're going to move into the SUV. Just to give you a comparison, this one $20,000, that one is about $16,000 if I'm not mistaken, somewhere around that price. But when you look at an SUV, you look at the size of this car here, guys. So, so Let's be honest about it. Tell me if you can buy an SUV for $16,000 in the US. There is no way. So once again, I'm gonna take a look inside here just to look at the comfort. Check it out, guys. Look how pretty this is inside. Very, very, very, very high quality. I'm gonna sit in here once again. As a tall guy, I feel so comfortable. In this car here. So you got all the dashboard right here, electronically here, whatever you need to do, voice activated, by the way. It's just so luxurious. $16,000, that's it. But it's already telling me hello because I learned what hello in Chinese is, nǐ hǎo. But it's just voice activated. If I speak the language, I can tell it Exactly what I need to do. And by the way, the other vehicle we looked at earlier, which is the one on my left, to my surprise, this is a self-driving vehicle also. Yeah, you can drive it. It's self-driving vehicle, so you have the option either to drive or let the car do the work for you. So I'm gonna get in the back here. Just to show you once again. Check out, guys, look at that, look at that comfort here. And I'm going to sit on it here. Yeah, enough leg room. I feel almost like the speed train I was in yesterday coming over to Shenzhen, even though it was second class. Enough leg room. But this one is so comfortable for 16,000. I just I can't get over that price, but yet if I buy one here, the US government would charge me the tariffs on it forever. We're going to take a look at, uh, I'm trying to see how I can open up the— yeah, look at that. Or either you press the button and in the bottom here. But once again, you look at the space, how much space down here. You can take this, of course, out. I'm not gonna do it because he lets me in here, so I gotta be respectful of that. But again, just the comfort, guys. I just, once again, can't get over the price. $16,000. So it's automatic, you just close it and it closes itself out here. There we go. Yeah, it says right there, BYD. That's the logo for the car, and you all know the history of BYD. We have a third car here, and just want to show you this one briefly. It's the same luxurious car here. So you look at the— this is the smaller model here, dark tinted colors. This is automatic. Yeah, this is a smaller version, but if I take a seat back, I'm comfortable here. As you notice, the same arrangement. You got the big electronic dashboard here, and, uh, so luxurious here. So this is their steering wheel, of course. And then what else would you need? You know, to me it's, it's comfortable, it's reasonably— it's not a reasonably priced, it's cheap in comparison to ours. Now where the challenge of all this is going to be, guys, the challenge is going to be in its battery. Because if you notice, we're going to go outside and show you, uh, the battery is you have to have a battery. Of course, you can buy a Tesla battery, but it won't work. So you have to also get a battery to charge this one. There are some specifications that we need to consider— one needs to consider if he or she wants to purchase one. Once again, the 3 models here. This is a luxury one, $20,000. This is an SUV, $16,000. And this one here is about 100,000 yuan. So divide by, uh, by, uh, 7, uh, what, it's almost, uh, well, 13, 13, 14, $14,000 for this one right here. And again, what else would you need? So, so you got the 3 models. As I said, I like this one here, the luxurious one, because it has that option of self-driving for an extra $6,000. Gotta come. The rim, as I could— was that, I think, 18-inch, if I'm not mistaken? I don't know the specifics of it because the manager here does not speak English, but they were kind enough to allow me to. Anyway, I just wanted to say I wanted to share this with you as I promised you, uh, to do a video for you from BYD. They were kind enough to let me here, the general manager here, and I will do a video for you later on this afternoon. And it's just the idea of— because I need to talk to you about Shenzhen. There is a lot of history, there's a lot of stuff you guys need to know. I didn't forget, but I promised. Some of you been asking about if I visit UID, and here I am. So this is what I wanted to do. I'm gonna say thank you quickly and step outside just to show you briefly here before I sign off. I want to say thank you once again. Appreciate it. Thank you very much. So you're kind enough to let me hear a little bit more. And by the way, there's the colors, guys, for your vehicle, just to show Chinese. This is the coloring of the vehicle. If you notice, for us in the US, you only have a black, white, or gray. Here in China, for BYD, of course they have the black, they have the gray, but also they have different other colors. So this, this is what the vehicle comes in, all the colors. It's a nice car. I really, I wish I If I needed a car, it would be lovely to buy one. So, all right, let's step outside and I'm going to just show you briefly the city, briefly here before we go. So, thank you so much, appreciate it. So they were kind enough to let me here. So, okay guys, I'm— bye-bye. So they were so kind here to— oh, I need Thank you. Once again, guys, I just want to show you here. I'm outside, uh, uh, now on a main street. This is called, uh, hold on, let me show you the street name. It's called, uh, this is the— no, that's Shenzhen Luohu District People's Hospital. That's the direction. And, uh, this one's called the Luohu Creative Culture Plaza is this direction, but I don't know the name of the place here. But as you noticed, guys, uh, Shenzhen is— I'm going to talk detail in the afternoon, in the evening, early evening, because I'm going to go to the main street to show you the side of Shenzhen that has developed over time. Because this city, if you only learn what it used to be to what it is today, you will be amazed. So I'm going to show you some high-rising buildings here, if you notice. So yeah, it's very, very, very impressive, I'll say. And once again, look at, guys, how clean the streets are. I can't get over that. Of course, I did see once a while someone will smoke cigarette and threw the butts out in the street, but you don't see this much. So we're going to cross, we're going to cross over, and I'll keep this till we cross over the other side here. If you notice the green, it says you can cross the road. So, so once again, this is like the major— it's, it's not considered downtown here. But it is, it is a major hub here where everybody moves around. You look at the street here, so I'm gonna show you the bridge, a small bridge down there. So you go over that side there, but everybody's busy here. The, uh, I went for a stroll this morning early, uh, just people are just moving around and, and kind of getting busy with their lives and so So, all right guys, let me, let me see if there's a question from you before I sign off. But again, just remember, I will do another live stream this afternoon, early evening, because I want to show you the other side of like the, you know, where, where, where, uh, uh, the daily life is. This is like a traffic area and so forth. So I'll do one another because I am leaving tomorrow to my next destination. I'm not staying too long here, so it's just, uh uh, how it works. So, so this is what— thank you all, by the way. Thank you all for your comments. I'm very, very grateful to you all. I appreciate your kind words. I appreciate your kind support. It means a lot to me coming from you guys because we are all in one community, uh, and I intend to sort of figure out when I get back home some other plans, uh, because it matters. For you to know what's going on around the world. It matters. I know I haven't talked much about geopolitics, but I am aware of— keep up with the reading whenever I have time to do that, and I will share that with you next time. So, uh, okay, I'll see if there's one quick question. I'll answer it for you guys. Oh, oh, Kevin, the car's $9,000. Wow, yeah, I can see why all the cars here, guys, it's, it's electric. So for us, it's the cost of gasoline and all that stuff. They don't have to worry about that here. And, and the good quality— this is what, what gets to me. It's a good quality car. And I am not promoting BYD here, guys. You know me, I don't do that kind of stuff. But also, it angers me. Yeah, I use the term when I see my own country just wasting the resources instead of building the infrastructure, like the speed train I was on yesterday, like having a good road, bridges, and so forth, when the tax dollars is just wasted. And I kind of have a hard time with that. And I can't hold it because I can't. I just can't. So to me, the idea of the US will be taxing electric vehicles 100%, yeah, they're saying what to protect the market. Come on. You could protect the market by investing the money that we pay in taxes into the homeland infrastructure instead of spending it on wars and conflicts. You know, it's just common sense. But again, we have politicians that are not— they are corrupted. I don't shy away from saying it. It's the truth. So, but again, I just wanted to show you, does China have its own flaws? Yes, it does, like every other society. You know, I can't, I can't say for sure what it is because, you know, I have to live here longer time to understand. This is visiting for a few days here and there ain't enough to— what is enough for me to see is I've been around, I traveled around the world, I've been around long enough to know what to look for. And what I'm looking for is the progress that has been made. Throughout the years. Shenzhen is an example of that. This is why I put it on the map for my trip, because I needed to see based on what I read and heard. So, and I'm gonna detail for you in the evening when I get to the, uh, uh, the main street where they have the street foods and all that. I like to eat something there, and I'll share that with you. Part of this, I did some reading yesterday about it, so Uh, once again, it's just to highlight to you the difference where— what it is. All right guys, I'm gonna sign off here and, uh, let me just switch this one here so you can see. There we go. I'm gonna sign off here. It's very exciting to be back here in mainland, and I mean it. Uh, it's just because the level of energy, that's, that's the key to me. Nothing against Hong Kong, Don't get me wrong, guys, nothing against Hong Kong. It's just different vibes. That is where the difference is. And to me, it's kind of feel excited, you know. I just like it. Simple as that. And why? There is no why. Sometimes certain questions, certain things in life don't have an answer. You just accept them as they are. So, all right, guys. Sorry, I have to put my reading glasses just to see. Uh, oh, Shenzhen Drone Show. When, when is that gonna be? I'm gonna check it out. I'll check it out. And by the way, I don't know if you guys watched Shenzhen having the fireworks, I think, or the lights. It was some sort of a major festival for the lights. It was a few weeks ago here.— or not a week, during the holidays recently. So anyway, I will be seeing you guys early evening. Till then, I wish you a good day. Be safe, whatever you're doing, and I look forward to seeing you soon. As always, remember, geopolitics impacts your daily life in more ways than one. Till next time, guys. Bye-bye.
