Europe's Farmers Revolting Against EU Tyranny | Enough is Enough!!

In this livestream episode of Geopolitical Trends, host David Oualaalou greets his online community, outlines the format of the show, and launches into a discussion about the wave of farmer protests sweeping across Europe. He references visual evidence of tractor blockades, highway shutdowns, and even a rooster crossing a Paris highway, citing demonstrations in France, Germany, Greece, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Belgium, the Netherlands, Spain, Italy, Poland, Romania, Portugal and other nations. Oualaalou attributes the unrest to a combination of EU‑imposed regulations, rising taxes, soaring diesel prices, and the recent EU decision to allocate a €50 billion aid package to Ukraine, which he frames as a burden on farmers. He poses three core questions to his audience: (1) whether Europe is at a turning point in pushing back against these policies, (2) who is behind the regulatory push (government versus hidden actors), and (3) whether the protests signal a broader Western decline. Throughout, he links the protests to larger geopolitical narratives, including climate‑policy debates, historical climate cycles, and the perceived manipulation of public discourse by elites. He invites viewers to continue the conversation on a secondary platform, promises a deeper analysis of the International Court of Justice, and repeatedly asks for audience input via chat. The tone is conversational yet critical, with a strong supportive stance toward the farmers and skepticism toward EU and Western institutions.

All right, hello everybody and welcome to Geopolitical Trends, where truth matters. Very excited to be with you on this first day of a new week, February the 5th now. So time goes by so fast. So hope you had a good weekend. Uh, it was— by the way, I truly enjoyed that community conversation. We're going to be doing this Uh, I'm gonna ask your opinion later on. How often do you want this? Every 2 months? Every month? Every 3 weeks? Or whatever. So we'll decide on this as we— just a casual conversation. I, I truly, truly enjoyed it. So, and I get— yes, shared some private stuff, my private life with you a little bit. So it's, it's all, it's all good, part of the community here. So anyway, Uh, we got an interesting topic. By the way, I'm gonna be talking on the other location as well. Here is the link for it because there's few things needs to be detailed over. Here's on the screen, and I am going to share it with you on the chat box here later on. So, so this is what I'm gonna be, uh, talking about is what's going on in Europe all of a sudden. Now we've seen this before. Is this like really the turning point, or is it just another— that's, that's what we're gonna be try— trying to talk about a little bit here, but we'll detail more on the other platform. But before I'll do this, let me see who is here. Uh, Retro Gaming, that's correct. I won't say that last word there. But you, you all know. Here it is. You're absolutely correct. She is. She is. Yeah. Willie, good to see you as always. Coach Oihoi, good to see you from Malaysia. Jerome Lazarus from St. Louis, good to see you. St. Louis, I'm sorry. Good to see you. Hang Twa, good to see you. Uh, uh, Alim Sien, good to see you as always. Boycott, as always. Sangtan, good to see you. Athen Wu, here you are. Francis Tango, as always. SK Wong, good to see you, sir, from London. So you, you are, uh, SK Wong, please, please share on the screen, on the chat box, because now I'm finding out that the farmers in England, even though the UK is not part of the EU, they are joining with the other farmers in the European Union. So please confirm this one here because I read it in some, in some, uh, uh, sources. And I even heard about Ireland farmers. This is not about the EU anymore, this is about the livelihood. So please, if you will be kind and just, uh, yeah or nay on the chat box to confirm it with others. So, Ma Julie, good to see you. Osiris, great, here you are. Osiris, by the way, guys, and, and, and I like to give thanks where thanks are due, and that's just me, that's how it works. Osiris is the one who buys me coffee every day. It has been since I started this, uh, platform there. So, so I gotta give credit where credit is due, and I am very grateful to you, Osiris. Thank you so much, sir. Chanel, good to see you as always. So, so let's start with the question, guys, uh, the basic question. I don't have headlines today. I— this— all this happens so fast. Because yesterday I spent my entire afternoon working on a car. So I didn't expect it. Usually, uh, sometimes on Sundays, even though it's my day off, whatever, I still do a few, uh, preparations. But fixing that, uh, actuator in the car, if you know what I'm talking about, regarding the AC and all that, it took me about 7 hours to deal with it. But it was done, it's fixed. So this is why I don't have everything ready. I only have the questions and we'll get into brief conversation here and we'll continue our conversation on the other platform. So, so here's the basic question that we need to ask: is it time for Europe to push back? When I say Europe, I am referring to the citizens here because it's going down since for the last literally 4 or 5 years So, and now with the farmers, because for the farmers it's their livelihood. And I'm going to share some images with you a little bit. So I was even surprised to see here in the US the media is talking about this. Now the farmers in the US, I don't know if they are aware of what's going on around the world, because this is not about just Europe anymore. This is about the livelihood of everybody, because you all know without farmers we won't be able to eat. Simple as that. So now that I'm growing older, I came to truly appreciate what the farmers do. I never did, I'll admit it, when I was in my, you know, back in the day, just hanging out at the beach and all that, because that's where I spend most of my time. Never, never thought about, you know, farmers, what is that? Now I'm seeing where things are, makes me very appreciative, appreciative of their hard work, because I'm also growing my own veggies at home and the work and dedication it takes. So this is now— it's not about just the European farmers. Americans also have to learn from this. And will Americans ever wake up, let alone with what's going on, which I will talk about on the other— I just find out something happened yesterday just yesterday, and most Americans are unaware of what's going on. So, and as a second question we need to ask is, who's advocating for this? When I say advocating for this, I am referring to these regulations and the increase in taxes and all that. Who's advocating for it? Is it the government, or is it some entity that is pushing the government You all know what I'm referring to here. And the third question we ought to ask: is this a sign for the Western demise as a whole? Because if anybody thinks otherwise, you are not paying close attention to really what's going on on the global landscape. That's to me, I, the way I see it. Uh, by the way, I put a note for myself here. I am in the works of preparing one particular very, very disturbing, uh, uh, uh, what's the word, information, if I may use, about the ICG, the International Court of Justice. Yeah, we all been surprised or maybe misled thinking that an entity is going to do the right thing. So I'm preparing this and I'll do a video for you. On a limited level here, then we'll detail on the other ones. Uh, okay, one more time, let me just see. Uh, oh, Vance Coel, good to see you. Farhad Razavi, good to see you as always. Timeline Dunkley, good to see you. Pong Yang Tsu, good to see you. Army with Harmony, good to see you as always. All right guys, the crew is here, everybody's here. So All right, let's tackle this, uh, because I need to share some images with you here. Then we'll go into this. You know, I find this very interesting. Uh, let me remove this, uh, this one here. So it's very interesting. Why it's interesting? Because of this chicken here that's similar to the one I have at home. For those who watched the conversation with the community, I posted a picture of one of my chickies that looks like that. Her name is Carrot. So, but anyway, all laughing, all the joking aside, what you looking at? You're looking at a picture of the, uh, the rooster or chicken, whatever, rooster or chicken, whatever that is, crossing the streets in Paris. This is in, uh, uh, in, in France during the demonstrations that were taking place. Very, very interesting. That's a rooster. Not a chicken, it's a rooster that was crossing the highway during protest by French farmers. And this in East Paris. They shut down the highway, by the way. Okay, that's logical thing to do. But the question is, we need to ask is, what's leading to this? Well, of course, there are a host of issues. I'm going to mention just few. For example, the farmers are very pissed. I'm going to use the term as is. We are not going to shy away from it. Because of the regulations that the European Union Parliament is imposing. Why? Because the living expenses now is going to go up for farmers because of the taxes and regulations, especially taxes. So farmers end up having to work just to pay for taxes. And this, you will say, it's okay if those taxes are used for the country. What are they doing? They just approved 2 days ago, the €50 billion that's going to Ukraine, a corrupted country. Yeah, they won against Orbán for Hungary, who vetoed that, and now they pushing through. That tells you right there. So the farmers are saying, are saying, we've had it. This is why you're seeing farmers not just in France, not just in Germany, not just in Greece, which I will show you the pictures The one you are looking at, uh, let me see, this is from France, but I'll show you, uh, uh, other ones, guys. Uh, I have also this one here. This is in France, shutting down tractors all over the place. Okay, here is another one in Germany. This is Germany. Here is another one in France. They shutting down the toll— this is like the highway, uh, for them. You have to go, it's shut down. There's no way you can go through there. So, and here is another one from Greece. Yeah, look at that. And this is what I'm saying, in UK now the farmers are joining even though UK is not a EU member. In Ireland, they're pushing forward with all this. And now you ask yourself, is it now or never? Because you're gonna have to push back against this tyranny, per se. And there's no other way of explaining it or the term to use but tyranny. Straightforward. Because we all— you guys, now by now you do understand how to read the landscape, the global landscape. You have no excuse. You've been, you've been with me for quite a while now, a year and a half to 2 years. It's plenty for you to really have that foundation. So now You are in possession to be able to read that landscape. And, and, and, and this what's taking place right now in Europe is a reflection of that landscape that has been changing for a few years back. Farmers, you know, tell me if we— you can live without farmers. I can't because we depend on them. Yes, I do have a little bit of stuff in my backyard here, but I Hey, that ain't gonna sort of hold me for a few weeks or whatever, but that's about it. Farmers, you're looking at a large quantity of, of, of, of aspects of it. And this is why you are witnessing what is going on in Europe right now with all this protest that is now taking far direction as far as what everybody anticipated. So, and these grievances, these grievances are legit. You know, how much can you tax farmers? I will say the same thing for us Americans. How much can you tax Americans? But yes, some of us— I shall not generalize, of course— but some of us are unaware of even what's going on. They have no clue that the government is taking our tax dollars and just wasting it. Because here's what you see right now in Europe, is that governments And I pay attention to what I'm saying, guys. I didn't say a government, I'm saying governments in plural now have hindered now the progress of farming and the livelihood for farmers in Europe, even in, in, in Netherlands, in Holland. And, and if Harry Lokel was here, he's an avid supporter of the channel, he's from Holland, will be able to confirm this information. So this is why you're seeing it started in, in France first, because that's usually French is known for. But is this just like— again, I had to ask the question— is this just another protest, or is it truly a turning point? What do you guys think? Because here is the thing, it started in Paris in the streets First of all, and now it's spread into large swaths of the European Union countries, from Belgium and Netherlands to, uh, Paris, of course, Germany and the UK. Even the UK is not an EU member, and Ireland and so forth. You got the idea. So you, you think about it, uh, the, the protest now about the agricultural, uh, from agricultural workers now because it's been now documented in Belgium as an example. Uh, they put a blockade between the German and the Belgian border, border to stand still. You can't cross in that, in that part of the, of the, of the country between the two. Farmers in Spain and Italy have also begun a series of tractor blockades. And then you have, as I mentioned, other countries including Poland, including Germany, including Romania, including Greece, Portugal, and others. It's because enough is enough. At some point you say, I've had it. Is this one of those moments? What do you guys think? Please just answer yes or no in the chat box. In your opinion, do you think, is this the moment where they said enough is enough and it is a turning point, or Is this going to be just another, yeah, frustration, expression of frustrations, and think we'll go back to normal? And, and again, because you think about the value of what farmers have to provide, and second, think of what the governments are doing to them as far as, well, you're going to have to cut down on the emission of the carbon dioxide and so forth, you know, all that hype about the environments and all that stuff. I'm not saying that this doesn't happen, but at the same time, if you look at the history of the Earth, every 5,000 years you get some major changes in, in the global weather. This is nothing new. It's just the making sort of, uh, the, the elites, the, the, those entities that they want to sort of manipulate the narrative are saying something else. I mean, you go back into the history of the Earth, I'm talking about thousands and thousands of years. There's an era called the Younger Dryas. I don't know if you know much about it or not, guys. If anybody knows, please just type in on chat box for everybody to know. During the Younger Dryas period, the climate was so drastic. It will go from a very, very ice cold into melting ice in no time. And of course, these things took time. Some cycles in the Earth history took about 12,000 years. So what make them today saying, oh, the farmers are causing climate change? It's nothing but a hoax. It's the livelihood. They messing up with their livelihood. That's where the problem is. Oh, Stefan Rizak, thank you so much for your super sticker. Truly appreciate you, Stephen. It means a lot, man. And this is where you say— you are asking yourself, well, enough is enough, where this has to stop. But also you have to understand the, the, the, the, the, the causes of this. Why is this? Well, of course, a lot of issues that have sort of interlocked, impacting the livelihood of everybody. And this is why I always say, guys, believe it or not, some might understand it, some might not, that geopolitics, the decisions trickle down to Average Joe, Average Jane, and end up impacting their livelihood. This is one of these examples. Why? Because of the policies that are made at the EU Parliament. Those policies are driven by the geopolitical landscape, especially when it comes down to the Ukraine conflict and so forth. But it has— that, that's just a facade. There is the hidden side of the story. So, so when they start talking about— because you got a farmers now dealing, for example, with basics. What am I referring to here? I am referring to the cost of diesel, for example. So for you guys who live in Europe, you will be a better witness to what I'm saying. The cost in Europe is far higher than what we have here in the US. Yeah, we noticed the oil prices went up, so still we have a gallon, we don't have a liter, but it's still for the farmers in Europe, the cost of diesel, it just, uh, uh, went, went beyond the roof that they could afford it. Then you think about these subsidies, what this European Union is providing, but only turning around and taking that out in taxes and sending it to Ukraine. Well, as I said, they just agreed to €50 billion to support Ukraine. So this is why you are seeing, uh, uh, this, uh, uh, massive demonstrations in Europe that is taking place. And, and, and rightly so, rightly so, because it's about time It's about time you have to have this. As I said, for us in the US, I don't know if the farmers are aware or not. Usually the, the government subsidize the farmers here, but that's not like a peanut. It's nothing in comparison to really the cost that is involved in all this. And, and, and this is where I see the difference between, uh, back then and now as far as this protest whether this is going to materialize or not. This is where I see the difference. And apparently, uh, I don't know, it's, it's kind of, uh, very, very, very unusual what is taking. Let me share pictures with you guys to show you what's, uh, actually, uh, let me get it into one of my emails that I, uh, I want to show you, uh, some— pardon me— some images that weren't addressed about here in the US. Here is a link, guys. Not a link, I'm sorry, sharing the screen with you. And I get this through— for those guys who do not know, if you want to follow me on Twitter I am @DavidOualaalou. I'm on Twitter. I usually post my stuff over there. Just, just sign up, join me there. That's the bottom line to it. So here is a link, guys. Take a look. This is in Germany. This in Germany. That's what you're looking at. Massive, massive demonstrations in Germany. Almost half a million people saw this video. Did we hear about it here? Yes, we did. And this is what I'm saying, guys, there are more than meet the eye regarding this. Let me see if I could find one more before I'll jump into the other location. Yeah, this one is about France. Let me just show you an image of what they doing. This is, uh, the farmers, yeah, want to police station. You all know how law enforcement— law enforcement, one of them did a good thing, I think in Belgium, they offered food to the farmers. That showed the appreciation because law enforcement need to understand it's impacting their families as well. This is not not just about the, uh, uh, here, check this out, guys. Look at that. This is a police station, and the farmer took the truck, the truck, and dumped the, the, the manure inside there. They've had it. And rightly so, rightly so. All right. Let me go. I'm gonna leave from here, guys, because there's— I'm getting into some other conversation here. I will see you on the other location. Let me put it up for you in the chat box and you guys can join me there. Uh, show it here. Here it is. And I'm gonna put it for you in the chat box and I will see you in about 10 minutes or even before that. I'm gonna get on, on it soon. All right, where is the link? Right here. Copy link. I'm gonna share it with you in the chat box, guys. Then we'll, we'll, uh, we'll continue our conversation. Oh, let me say thank you to, uh, Timeline Dunkley. Thank you so much for your Super Sticker. Truly appreciate it. Okay, let me see if the, uh, if the, if the link went through. Yes, it is. So you guys have it. Okay guys, I will see you there. Okay, all right. As always, remember, your politics impact your daily life. In more ways than one. See you soon. Bye-bye.
