Houthis Attack 5 Israeli Sites! Geopolitical Trends!

In this 1‑hour live‑stream, host Dr. O (David Oualaalou) opens with community greetings and a preview of upcoming guests before diving into a multi‑layered geopolitical analysis. He first details the recent Houthi/Ansarullah drone strikes on five Israeli locations—including Ben Gurion, Ramon airports and Eilat port—arguing that the use of drones (instead of missiles) signals both retaliation for Israeli actions in Gaza and a strategic fear that Israel may possess surface‑to‑air missiles capable of downing fighter jets. Dr. O critiques Israel’s claimed air superiority, suggesting Israeli pilots are avoiding jet deployments due to this perceived threat. He then expands the discussion to regional politics, condemning Arab governments for media control that silences dissent and praising the Houthis for exposing that hypocrisy. The stream shifts to a Chinese Foreign Ministry communiqué calling for an immediate lift of the Gaza siege and condemning the use of food and medicine as weapons. Dr. O links this statement to broader Chinese strategic interests, including recent arms purchases by Iran and a Chinese J‑10 fighter deal, and speculates on China’s growing influence in the Middle East. A substantial portion of the broadcast is devoted to a historical‑legal “snapshot” of the term genocide: its origin with Raphael Lemkin (1944), its codification in the 1948 UN Convention, the Nuremberg Trials, the Rome Statute, and the penalties outlined in Article 77. Dr. O argues that the current Gaza situation meets the legal definition of genocide, critiques the lack of UN action, and contrasts Western double standards with the treatment of past atrocities in Rwanda, the Balkans, and Srebrenica. Throughout, Dr. O invites audience interaction, asks for chat input on historical questions, and promotes upcoming interviews (Dr. Ken Hammond, Dr. Yan Lian, Carl Zah, Dr. Stewart) as well as a personal fundraising drive for an Asia speaking tour. He concludes by urging viewers to like, share, and subscribe, emphasizing that the channel aims to present “truthful, objective reporting” on geopolitics. Key take‑aways: (1) Houthi drone attacks are portrayed as a strategic escalation exposing Israeli air‑defense vulnerabilities; (2) Arab media suppression is highlighted as a barrier to truth; (3) China’s diplomatic stance on Gaza is framed as a signal of rising geopolitical clout; (4) The legal history of genocide is used to argue that current events constitute a crime against humanity; (5) The host positions himself as an independent, community‑driven analyst challenging mainstream narratives.

So I'm going to be detailing for you this, but I'm going to share something very, very interesting, first time ever, and this has to do with China pertaining to this issue. So stay tuned here. So we look forward to this very, very interesting conversation. Let's say hi to our wonderful community. Uh, UT Super, UTU Z Super 110, yes indeed. Uh, I have, uh, confirmed that I'm gonna be having Dr. Ken Hammond that will be here. He's a friend of mine, believe it or not. It's been a while since we last spoke, but Ken will be here, or Dr. Hammond will be here. As you may know, his academic background, he specializes in the Chinese history. Very, very, very interesting to have him here. I am also working on confirming the upcoming interview with Dr. Yan Lian. She is also a friend of the show here, a very, very, very informative and well-articulated professor. And so we look forward to having her, to having her here on the channel. And over the weekend, we'll be having our monthly conversation with none other than Carl Zah. And I have a lot to talk with him about that. I save that for him. And on Sunday, I will do the community conversation with Dr. Stewart, who will be here answering some of your health questions. So make sure to to join us on Sunday, and I will keep you guys updated on the dates and everything else. So, all right, let's go into our topic here. Houthis attacked 5 Israeli sites. You know, it's very interesting to Houthis, or Ansarullah, AKA, also known as Houthis. So I, I use the term interchangeably. So, uh, so they recently targeted 5 Israeli sites, and that includes, once again, Ben Gurion, and in addition to Ramon Airport. So there are also other locations that have been attacked. My interest in this is that specifically Ben Gurion— are the, are the Houthis really going to put a complete lockdown on, on Ben Gurion? In other words, there will be no, uh, flights, no commercial whatsoever. So, and that becomes clear to me as to probably that's what their aim is. So, and all this leads us to the key question, and the key question is, will Israel ever live in peace? Uh, to me it's a legitimate question, and I'm not going to shy away from asking that. It's because you have to put it within the context of what's going on. Is, is Israel's peace ties to its, uh, aggression once it stops? Maybe, maybe not. That's why I put no peace till your aggression stops. And to me, it's legitimate questions, you know. Again, this has to do with facts on the ground. And all this comes on the heels of one specific major developments coming out of Beijing, and that I will get into later on. So this is how I'm going to do this live stream here. I'll provide you my own insights and analysis about this Then I am gonna do a historical snapshot about the evolution of what genocide came all about, where the word came from, and so forth. So I, I dig through the record, believe it or not, between the short time between yesterday and today, because I wanted to provide you key information that, uh, uh, that will be of use to you and understanding what is going on. So So with Ansarullah announcing yesterday, and actually that was the announcement was made yesterday, that's why I had to— I, I made aware of it, I was made aware of it, but I had to confirm the information that they targeted the 5 Israeli sites. And here is the interesting aspect, they didn't target this with a missile. This is one of the development, they target this with the drones. That includes, as I mentioned earlier, Ben Gurion and Ramon airports. In addition to, once again, even though you and I know that Eilat, Eilat port is going to be shutting down as of Sunday officially, they didn't hold back. They sent the drones over there. You may ask yourself, why the drones? Is because Israel has attacked Al Hudaydah port with drones as well. So it became clear to me that the Houthis are keeping their words with when they said way back, and I'm paraphrasing here, that they said, we will escalate if you escalate, we will target the same way you target. And here is the interesting aspects of all this, is that Israel now will dare to use any fighter jets. Why is this, you might ask yourself? It's because the fear that the Houthis might be in possession of surface-to-air missiles that can bring down— it's exactly what Pakistan did with India, downing 5 planes immediately, but using the Chinese type of missiles, by the way. So, and I am coming to the conclusion here, and please guys, correct me if I'm wrong or if you have a different opinion. Please share it with the community here. But to me, that's how I'm reading it, is that the reason Israel refrained from using the fighter jets— remember, they said they have the air superiority and so forth— why won't they use a fighter jet? Instead, they used the drones to target Al-Hodeida port. Once again, it's almost destroyed, but what else? You're just hitting some buildings that they already been knocked down. And that's again the conclusion that I came to, had to do with the fear of the Israelis having their fighter jet shut down by a missile because the optics of it. And that's so. And this is why the Israeli radio, uh, reported that its air defenses— and here it is once again— intercepted the drones launched from Yemen. I mean, are you gonna believe that? Let's just be honest and straightforward about it. I won't. But again, I understand how this info psyops work when it comes down to what you want the masses to know versus what the truth is. And this is where this channel comes in. I, I, I don't, I don't do the videos for you guys, live streams, just to be here or just to expand on things that have no meaning or make no sense whatsoever. We'll report the facts as they are, and you reach your own conclusions. So when I read that the Israeli Army is stating that its air defenses have intercepted the drones, I, I'll question that. I'll question that. So, and because also, uh, the Israelis have attacked on Monday morning certain, certain facilities inside the port of Al-Hodeida. I don't know if I still have a map for you here, guys, to show you where Al-Hodeida port is. I doubt it, but we, we'll take a look. Sana'a, uh, yes, that's right here, Al-Hodeida port. So this is what the Israelis targeted again. How many times they had to target that location? But suffice it to say that what the, uh, what, uh, the, uh, Houthis, uh, end up doing is using the same tactics, using drones for, uh, the attack on the 5 facilities. And this again, I, I know I was debating whether to do this for you or not, but I said no, you guys need to know, and you need to know the bigger picture of all this is because once again The way I'm reading all this is that Israel will never be in peace. As long as the aggression doesn't stop, they will never be in peace. And also, this once again highlights the exposure of the hypocrisy of the Arab world. I hope that, uh, and I will talk to you towards the end, one of the, uh, one of a donor donated a sort of a major donation in support of my upcoming Asia trip. His name is Saleh. And, and, and in arguments— in a statement rather, he said, you know, thank you, Dr. O, for what you done, so forth. And here is the thing: the Arab world, the Arab people, you know, are not able to hear the truth. Why? Because as you know as much as I do, the governments of Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Egypt Uh, Bahrain, Kuwait, Yemen, you name it. All of— not Yemen, the other country, all of them, they controlling the media. So the masses are not hearing the other sides of the argument. And this is why I'm doing what I'm doing. And when I say the Houthis have exposed the hypocrisy of the Arab so-called leaders, those are not leaders, they are puppets. They are pathetic. Let's just say it the way it is. So, and this is once again We needed to understand why this mean— how much this one means for the idea of if we are to move forward with the argument why the Houthis doing what they doing. Yes, they are supporting people in Gaza because the level that has been reached in Gaza is unbelievable. And for the fact that the rest of the world is just incapable, you know, this is where China comes in. And I'm going to be talking to you as I move forward about what China stated just yesterday. So, but you think about the, the, the, the whole 22 countries in the Arab world are, are paralyzed. It's beyond me. But again, because the masses, the people inside those countries are not hearing the other side of the story, the government, uh, sort of, uh, uh, uh, uh, fabricate or articulate or frame the news in a different way that doesn't expose the truth. So, and that is why, uh, uh, for example, you think about what the Houthis have done, you know, once again, not only they are retaliating against Israel for what it did, because the Israelis, as I mentioned, the strikes that the, the, uh, Israelis used, they used drones. Not fighter jets. And once again, the reason they were afraid, in my opinion— this is my opinion— they were afraid to use the fighter jets because either the Israelis have information that the Houthis are in possession of some, uh, surface-to-air missiles that can bring down, uh, uh, fighter jets, or something. That's the only explanation I have. Uh, otherwise I couldn't think of anything else. So And this is why the Houthis went ahead and targeted exactly those 5 locations inside Israel, beside the Ramon and Ben Gurion Airport, also the Eilat Port. Liking this video so far? Don't just be a watcher. Go ahead and hit the like, share, and subscribe button. And don't forget to tap the bell so you will not miss any of my videos or live streams. This way you will be supporting a channel that stands for the truth and objective reporting. The choice is yours. Thanks for your support. Now, all this what just happened yesterday, because remember what happened last week, the Houthis attacked once again Ben Gurion Except at that time, I mean, last week they used the Palestine 2 hypersonic missile, ballistic missiles. So of course the Israelis going to say we intercepted the missile once again. And this is my, my own assumption here. I don't speak for you, you know, I will not buy what the, the Israeli military is saying. So, uh, and, and, and what you need to understand is that the Houthis are retaliating the moment the Israelis either bomb something in Gaza or attack Yemen. They won't hold back. And so far, Israel, with all its military might that we are giving to Israel, was unable to defeat the Houthis. That just, uh, to me, it's a— it's, it's, it speaks volume. Even the US, the US had to quietly withdraw because they realize how bad the optics of it. The American military power and so forth couldn't defeat the Houthis, you know. This is to me the whole point of all this is that the Houthis or Ansarullah have achieved the main, the main objective is the exposure of the weakness of Israel's air defense systems, Israel's military, US bravado and all that, and the West, the collective West hypocrisy. And of course the Arab, and I include some Muslim countries because they are Muslim countries. So I ain't going to differentiate between— I know somebody one time said, Dr. O, please don't say Muslims. Why not? Why not? Isn't Saudi a Muslim country? It's an Arab country, but it's a Muslim country. Isn't Egypt an Arab country but is also Muslim country? Isn't Turkey a Muslim country but they are Turks? You know, that's to me is kind of— I, I respect your opinion, whomever this person put the comment, but again, I— it's no. If I am to say the Arab forward slash Muslim countries, because they are simple as that. And mind you that since the beginning of all this back in 2023, October 7th. So, and I read different reports indicating how many dead so far. So, and again, I can't confirm the exact number. The one I came across is from the medical, uh, rescue units inside Gaza indicating that about 198 thousand Palestinians are dead. So, and most of them were children and women, and over 10,000 are missing. So, and of course, we are not going to forget the displaced ones in, in, in, in, in, in hundreds of thousands. So, but the most shocking of them all, it has to do with the famine. That has claimed the lives of many, especially children. I saw a very— I'm not gonna share it, uh, it's disturbing, uh, image of this very young kid. They were measuring his biceps with the tape, like it's 8 inches, nothing there. And that's why I'm saying shame on the collective West. Shame on the Arab and Muslim world for just stepping back and watching. 'Cause that's all it is. So, and this leads us also to one specific conclusion, the conclusion about the Houthis targeting. They don't fear the Israelis. They don't fear the bravado of Israel Gantz, the defense minister, who's saying, we're gonna wipe out the Houthis and all. All that is nothing but a bravado. I am here to tell you, we do the same in Washington when we issue these threats and all that. It's nothing. Look what we did. We pulled quietly out of the conflict with the Houthis only to let Israel by itself dealing with it, because we knew, we knew in our experience in Afghanistan, we saw how it turned out. We knew in our experience in Iraq, in Somalia, and even if I am to take you back in history to Vietnam, we knew how we will end. This time around we wanted to, you know what, we're not gonna stay. Let's pull out quietly by saying, you know, we reached a ceasefire. No, you didn't reach a ceasefire, Trump. You pulled out because you know you won't be able to defeat the Houthis. And for Trump to even— I mean, I feel sorry for those who have voted for the guy. I mean, just, it just— that's another conversation for another day. As I said, the key conclusion to this specific, uh, uh, uh, uh, not the attacks by the Houthis, is that now puts one particular argument to the fore. And that one is, even if we are to consider Israel might have achieved plenty of a short-term military gains, but here is the thing: will that achievement or will that gain outweigh its regional and international isolation? And that's exactly what the Houthis were able to do through their attacks, through their retaliations, and not standing down and not being intimidated, whether America or Israel. This is what's the key important. And this leads me to really the statements by The Chinese— what the China— and by the way, I have the link that I'm going to share with you. Remember, you have to understand the history of China to understand or to put the statements within its proper context. Here is what the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Chinese one, stated, and I quote: China calls for an immediate lifting of the siege on Gaza and the unconditional entry of aid. Using food and medicine as a weapon against civilians is a blatant violation of all international laws. I pulled up the link, uh, from this, and I'm going to share it with you, and I'm going to share the screen with you because I need you to see this first with your own eyes so you know where the information is coming for you. Then I'm going to share the link with you right there. If you see that statement, I'm going to make this screen bigger here. We strongly call for the immediate and lasting ceasefire in Gaza. And as I mentioned earlier, this one came from right here, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the PRC, or People's Republic of China. So I'm going to share the link with you guys, uh, and, and you can read the— it's not that long, so if you want to read it later on. And I'm going to provide you my own analysis as to what made the statements all of a sudden from the Chinese. Very important development. I, I, I must admit I didn't see this coming, but again, that doesn't mean China is not expressing its concern. It has before. I was even aware when the factions, yeah, factions of the Palestinian factions traveled to Beijing a few months ago, and even I think a year and a half or so. And one of the things the Chinese talked about has to do with the issue of the Palestinian state. So, but on the other hand, you put this within the context of what just happened with Iran, and I did the video for you guys 2 days ago regarding the purchase of the Chinese, uh, uh, J-10, the developments of this particular, uh, hardware. And you put this within the context of what the Houthis are doing. Because here is what the, uh, uh, what the defense minister of Israel saying is that we're going to crush the Houthis and the same fate will happen— I'm paraphrasing here— and the same fate will happen to Iran. Well, I'm laughing out of stupidity because when the Israeli minister, defense minister, saying statement like this How come, how come you couldn't even defeat the Houthis and you think you're going to defeat Iran? Yes, I know Israel was able to penetrate the intelligence service in Israel, in Iran. I know what they caused. I know what they still causing inside. Remember, it's not over yet. Not only on the military front, but on the intelligence front as well. What Iran needs to do, it needs to do a major purge of its intelligence service because they've been infiltrated. That's part of where the problems are. But when you think about the context of what we talking about regarding the Houthis attacks, but also the fear of the Israelis using fighter jets and they end up using drones, that leads me to that conclusion of I found it very interesting with the statements of the Chinese coming out of the Foreign Ministry and the military hardware that Iran has purchased. And of course, if I am to take you back a few weeks ago when Pakistan was able to defeat, uh, uh, uh, uh, India, uh, by downing, uh, 5 fighter jets immediately using the Chinese missiles. All this, like a puzzle, fits in perfectly. I couldn't think of any other way of looking at this, and that's the only explanation I could come up. And please, guys, if you have a different perspective and you would like to share it with the community, we are all here to learn from each other. Remember, the way I look at these guys, it goes both ways. It's not one way. From me to you, from you to me as well. So that's, that's to me, that's how knowledge is. You share your understanding, you share what have you. So, and I am going to be talk— when I have, uh, Dr. Ken Hammond here on Friday, I am going to ask him from the historical perspective to put the Chinese statements within the context of its history. There is one thing China now is working on, and I'm not going to disclose at this point just because it's too early. It's just a matter of a conversation inside Beijing, a major, uh, project that's gonna alter, especially in Asia, not in, in West Asia or Africa, whatever, in Asia. And I wanted to put this within the context of its historical aspects. To see if that makes sense or not. So as I mentioned earlier at the beginning, I am going to be sharing a historical snapshot with you about how did we come to use the term genocide, you know. And I know it's not a forbidden term. I know at the beginning YouTube was kind of cracking down. Uh, no, they shouldn't. It's because if they understand the historical evolution of the term, then they shouldn't be doing that. So, and, and they are not doing it, I don't think so, because I mentioned it a couple times and it was fine. So suffice it to say, we're going to be talking about history here. So, and the history that I want to share with you, because I found it very important, and I'm only going to do this once. So you have to understand how this all evolved when you think about what is genocide, you know. It is a systematic— I'm sorry, it is a systematic— I'm like losing my, my terminologies here— systematic policy of mass murders carried out by mainly a government, a well-established entity that calls government. You know, it could also be conducted by an entity, not necessarily a government. I'm gonna give you the example what took place in Rwanda between the Tutsi and the Hutu. They warned some of them might be backed by the government. What's going on right now in DRC, which I will do a video for you next week, an update about that regarding its fight with the 23M group. So suffice it to say, in this historical snapshot, this is what a genocide amounts to, is the, as I said, systematic policy of mass murder carried out by a government or a specific entity or a sect or group, and is conducted on religious, ethnic, national, or political grounds. And this one, guys, was classified by the United Nations back in 1948. Of course, you know what 1948 coincide with. So in its own Convention as an international crime. And that's why I'm still perplexed as to why the UN has not declared the famine that Israel is exercising on Gaza. The UN didn't declare it. Makes me just wonder. So the term genocide in itself was originally coined to describe— you all know how it came about. To describe the Germans, the Nazi German actions that took place against the European Jews. And of course, it was also an attempt to include in the sanctions imposed on them. This is exactly what the German Nazis did back then. And this is why when you think about the current German chancellor, when he's saying he's thanking Israel for what it's doing, It makes me just shake my head about the stupidity of the guy. So, so what the United Nations end up doing is they adopted the term in 1946 and defining it as— and I put this in quote— killing, maiming, or other inflicting on a group of persons as such, or crime committed with the intent to destroy in a whole or in part a national, ethnic, racial, or religious groups. And I, and I leave it up to you guys to decide. Isn't that exactly what we are witnessing in Gaza? Isn't that exactly what we witnessed with the German Nazis back then? However, the International Court did not convene to implement this agreement for the first time till about sort of 5 decades later. Makes you just wonder what is the purpose of it and why was it 5 decades later after it was issued. And was because the— through the judicial process that took place at the time followed the conflict in Rwanda and the Balkans. That's what I'm saying. When you look what took place in Rwanda and you look what took place in the Balkans— and by the way, especially for the Balkans, we all know who incited the Balkans, uh, uh, uh, uh, genocide or murder, whatever you want to call it. We all know who did. Does anybody know, guys? Can you answer in the chat box who really, uh, fueled the flame on the Balkans situation back then? Let me see in the chat box if, if you could just share, uh, a word or two if you happen to know. It's an entity. Oh, oh, Desert, where— oh, where did you go? Oh man. Yeah, right here. I gotta show you the first one I saw. Desert Mantis, you're absolutely correct. It was NATO. It was NATO that did that one. And this is why I need you guys to understand how this, the tribunal, came about regarding the termination of the, uh, of the term in itself. And once again, remember, we are talking history here. So, and the idea that among the most famous crimes that took place back then of the genocides are the one that was, uh, took place in Serbia. So the massacre, Srebrenica. And I have actually three. Srebrenica, it was— to those who are older enough, you will know what I'm talking about. Sabra and Shatila, which was at that time, uh, what was his name, uh, it was a general in the military, became the prime minister Sharon, Sharon. So Sabran Shatila was the one who massacred, who oversaw the massacre there. Then the genocides and the ethnic cleansing in Rwanda, which by the way, we, we, the US and the collective West, we're standing on the sideline just watching in what the Hutus did to Tutsis and vice versa. You're talking about major, uh, uh, uh, mass killing that took place. And of course, you have to add what the German Nazis did against the Jews during World War II. So, and this is why it's important to understand and important to also to note that the implementation of the term genocide convention still till today faces several problems, and one of them including those related to the interpretation and the meaning of genocide. This is exactly what you are hearing going on today. Of course, for us, the Americans, we are not a signatory to the ICC anyway. So, so when you look at once again the definition of the term, which is deliberate mass killing of an entire group of people and is a crime against humanity, Simple. There's no other way of looking at it. So, and that is why usually those atrocities can be committed, uh, during aggression. So, and based on ethnic or religious grounds, you know. Now, as I mentioned earlier, you need to understand the origin of the term in itself. And the term genocide was coined, as I mentioned, in 1944 by none other than a Jewish lawyer. His name is Raphael Lemkin. I have a picture of him, a black and white here, an old one. So Raphael Lemkin, he's the one who described it and who coined the term to describe Nazi policies of systematic murder of Jews in Europe at that time. And interesting enough— sorry, I gotta remove this— interesting enough is that he described it by combining two terms. Speak Greek, or tribe for that matter. And the second part, the Latin word of Cid. It's C-I-D-E. Cid or side, which meaning the translation of it is, or the meaning of it is murder. So when you combine the two is you put Gino and side. Genocide. This is where the term came from, just for you too. So when Lemkin, the former, the the Jewish lawyer, coined this new term, he had in mind the concept of— and I put this in quotes because it's very important to, to understand it from a historical perspective— of an organized plan consisting with various measures aimed at destroying the essential foundation of life of a national groups with the aim of annihilating the groups themselves, end of quote. Once again, this is what he said back then, and look what's taking place in Gaza. So this Jewish lawyer, uh, efforts, by the way, were aimed at one objective, and you know what that objective was? Is to prepare the trial of the senior leaders of the German Reich for their crimes during World War II. As a matter of fact, I have a picture of the defendant sitting here during their trial. So this is why it's important to understand, uh, all this. So now this is where the International Military Tribunal in Nuremberg, Germany held its session in 1945, indicting senior Nazis. That's the picture right here. Indicting senior Nazis, leaders, for crimes against humanity. The charges included the word genocide, but it was merely a descriptive term, not a legal one at that time. And that is why it's very, very, very important to understand this particular, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, evolution or development of where things are. So following this in 1948, uh, following Lemkin, the lawyer, the Jewish lawyer, uh, his own sustained efforts. So, and this is where he moved into the, uh, evoking, uh, sort of the what's known later on as the Holocaust. And that is what the United Nations adopted, the convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide on December 9th, 1948. And you all know what happened in that year, 1948. And this convention considered genocide an international crime that signatory states pledged to prevent and punish. So this is where I questioned Hungary Because Hungary is a signatory, and yet Netanyahu went to Budapest and Hungary didn't arrest him. Again, I am not judging Orbán. It ain't my place to judge. It just— I can just see also the double standards of how things work here. So, and all it is, the idea of Lemkin the former Jewish lawyer who initiated all this, as I said, preparing the ground for the Nuremberg, it was to issue the harshest sentences against Nazi leaders. And this was, of course, expressed by the German Jewish playwright Bertolt Brecht. He's the one who described having fled to the United States. This is why, if you all remember, guys, The Nazi scientists and Nazi scientists were all been smuggled here to the US. So now there is one thing I want to share with you here before I'll, uh, I'll, uh, uh, see if there are any questions from you guys. Uh, uh, you all remember the Rome statue, Rome statue in, in, in Italy. The Rome Statute, which was established the International Criminal Court, the ICC, uh, sort of, uh, defines genocide as— and I put it in quote here— the commission of a certain act on a large scale carried out with the intent to destroy in whole or in part a group based on the national, ethnic, racial, or religious identity of that group. So, but here is the interesting thing I want to share with you guys, and I'll link it to Israel, of course. The penalties— regarding the penalties applicable to perpetrators of genocide, there is one article, uh, Article 77 of the Rome Statute. That one suggests or stipulates that the court may— that's the keyword right there— may impose one of the following penalties on a convicted person. I would say, if you have to consider which one, then what's the point? Why don't you set certain penalties that all members agreed on and that will be applicable to everybody? Nobody's above the law. But apparently that's not what we are witnessing here. So Here are the penalties: 1. Imprisonment for a specified number of years, up to maximum of 30 years. 2. Life imprisonment when such punishment is justified by the extreme seriousness of the crime and the special circumstances of the convicted person. Number 3, Article 4. Of the convention also stipulates that persons who commit genocide or any of the other acts enumerated in Article 3 shall be punished, whether they are constitutionally constituted rulers, okay, public officials, or private individuals. Another word, there is no difference between a king a president or an official in a government. You commit this kind of heinous crimes, the, the law should apply to you. But of course, you all know a monarchy, which I don't even understand why monarchies exist today. That, that's, that's pathetic in my opinion. This is why I never trusted what the King of Jordan was saying, you know, oh, we stand with the Palestinian. Come on, man. Stop lying. Number 4: All conventions relating to genocide stipulate that there are crimes that are not subject to a statute of limitation, which means even if it happens 10 years ago, you're still bound by that. So they are not subject to the statute of limitations, and their perpetrators do not benefit from immunity. Any person who commits or orders the commission of genocide shall be prosecuted regardless of their position, whether they are rulers, public officials, or private individuals, in accordance with Article 6 and Article 3 of the Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of genocide. And this leads us to Israel and the current genocide that is happening, because there's no other way of saying it. Once again, guys, just please, let's not put the entire Jewish people in the same basket. I, I, and I don't shy away from saying this. I do have Jewish friends, and I know where they stand. What a government does versus— it's like for us here, guys, like in your own country. If there's any Arab people watching this, you know what I'm talking about, you know. But you shouldn't be judged because of the, the actions of the, the, the, the so-called leader in your country. So the same arguments with— but nonetheless, we can't shy away from stating the facts. So since the establishment of the Israeli, uh, uh, uh, uh, state In 1948, it was exactly on May 15th, if I'm not mistaken, 1948. So the number of crimes and massacres have been committed against the Palestinian people. This is why, to those who say, well, this is just started on October 7th, I don't think so. You have to go back in history. So, and many of which met the definition of genocide. I remember, I do remember the massacre of Sabra and Shatila. I do remember that because I was reading on it, you know. I was getting in, I got involved in this international affairs since I was almost, uh, age was I like 14, 15, you know. I just found on, on my safe I had a journal from way, way, way back when I— there was no € back then. I used to write my own stuff. So, and I think I put a documentation about this, uh, this, uh, Sabran and Shatila. To all, to those who know, you know what I'm referring to here. So, and this is where you have to differentiate between Zionism and Jewish. And, and I'm not gonna get into that, all that stuff. Suffice it to say, what the government is doing in, in, in Tel Aviv It's not the reflection of all Jewish people. Let's just be honest about it, guys. You can't, we can't, we can't just put everybody in one basket, you know. But they have to be, they, the members of that government, all of them have to be held accountable. You know, I look at Bin Gvir, the national security, and I say to myself, you know, how much hatred and anger one can harbor against another human being. He is the one who's saying now, they will not allow a drop of aid into Gaza. Why? Why this much hatred towards another human being? Does— you might disagree with whatever, but why? And that becomes an internal issue, has nothing to do with the outside. The, the misery that exists within one's soul because they never took a moment to listen to their inner voice. And this is to me where— but again, this also has been facilitated by the silence of the so-called Arab and Muslim world. Of course, the collective West, you know, for us, you know, what can we do? You, you kind of try to inform the masses with facts. And this again, I am thinking about the Chinese statements. Is this a hint for what might lie ahead moving forward? Because remember, China is ascending to the top of the pyramid when it comes down to global power. It's no more China is second to the US. Ah, that's just what they have you believe, you know. I see what's going on right here. I saw what's going on in China when I was there. Did I see all? No, of course. So, and this is why you have to understand what's going on, because even, even, uh, uh, the, the Chinese statements talked about the settlements. And that's, again, it's a hint for me, the way I interpret it, that China is thinking much bigger issue. That is, I don't know what it is. But it, it, it's moving into that direction. So now when you think about where this is all going, you have to go back in history. This is why I wanted to share this with, with you, because the government of Israel— we're not saying Jewish people— the government of Israel also perpetrated this so-called genocide against Palestinians in series of attacks in the Gaza Strip itself. That goes way back to 2008, 2009. Uh, it was another one that took place in 2012, 2014, and of course 2021, and of course the October 2023. So, but on the other hand, let's be straightforward, this is not just Israel. Palestinian Authority, when back then Yasser Arafat You know, I never understood, and I'll share this with you guys. It's private, but I'll share it with you. My dad, when he was alive, you know, I never understood when he told me one day, you know, see that guy? I can't trust him. And he was referring to Yasser Arafat at that time. And of course I was a kid, I didn't understand what he was talking about. And he said, you will understand when you grow older a little bit. So So my point is that the Palestinian Authority itself— now you have Mahmoud Abbas. Mahmoud Abbas, he's been there because the Israelis and the Americans agree to him being there. Tell me why the Israelis didn't assassinate him, or even Yasser Arafat before him. It's because it's on them also. They've been pushing It was one-time deal that was possible in the Oslo Accord, but the Palestinian Authority declined it. And it was land for security. I talked to this special US envoy face to face. I met him in a private event. His name was Dr. Dennis Ross. He was back then. And I asked him straightforward, And I said, Dennis, tell me, you were in that meeting, why does— why no agreement has been reached? He said the Palestinian authorities turned it down. And of course, to me, I put the two together and figured turned it down because what does the Palestinian Authority do is that they ask for funding from all the Arab Muslim world in addition to the United States. You know, we give the Palestinian Authority about $800 million. Tax dollars. So, and again, that's why I'm saying let's look at the big picture. The Palestinian Authority— and this is what part of the problem is— is because what the Palestinian people want, they wanted Hamas to be there in charge of their whatever in the, in the Gaza Strip. The Palestinian Authority doesn't want that. Well, wait a minute, maybe Hamas is doing more better jobs than you. Is exactly what happened in Egypt, remember, prior to the election of Muhammad Morsi. So it's the same thing that's going on in Lebanon with Hezbollah. Why do you think people in southern Lebanon are more with Hezbollah than they are with the central government in Beirut? And our envoy, his name is Barak, he is right now in, in, in, uh, in Beirut. You know what he's telling Joseph Aoun, the president of Lebanon. He said you need to disarm the Hezbollah. Well, if you are going for to talk about whatever, what the heck are you interested in disarming Hezbollah? And it will be a mistake if Hezbollah ever disarm, and I don't think so they will. They will fight to death. It's the same thing the Houthis or Ansarullah are doing. Tell any, uh, any entity to go and disarm the Houthis. They can't, because look what the Houthis have been doing against Israel. You know, they just have no chance whatsoever for the Israelis to defeat them. They can't, because they expose now the weaknesses of the Israeli systems as far as air defense. And that's exactly where I'm coming from as far as why I wanted to share this historical snapshot with you to put it in perspective so you have an understanding of all this. So anyway, that's all I have to share with you guys. Uh, as always, my rule, if I don't have anything of substance, I stop. Uh, as I mentioned earlier, I want to say thank you to, uh, a major, uh, donation from Saleh. Uh, I asked the permission whether to disclose the name or not. He said, that's okay, it's up to you, Dr. O, and, and I want to disclose it. Uh, Saleh. I don't know where Saleh is from. All I know is an Arabic name, and, uh, it was so generous of him in support of my Asia trip. So speaking of the Asia trip, let, let me share, uh, with you the link for that one. And I'm also going to share, uh, I don't know if I have an update, uh, picture. Uh, I think I do somewhere. Yeah, I do. Let me share it with you guys quickly here. Uh, it's an— uh, sorry, I didn't update it. Yeah, I didn't update it because this donation that came from Saleh crossed over $2,000. So we are at 41%, so we're not even 50% yet. So I only have about literally 3 weeks, guys, uh, and, and I'll see where things are and just go from there. So I would greatly appreciate if you could support, uh, uh, this, uh, Asia trip, if you choose to. It's your, uh, uh, it's your decision. So I also take this opportunity, guys, to share with you the link to my speaking, because I do now speaking engagements. So, uh, I know a lot of entities are looking for speakers Uh, I will be happy to consider this because you all know what I talk about. Let me share it with you in the chat box and you can share it with others. But, but make sure to check it out, uh, if you want, uh, just to see what I do with the speaking engagements here. So, uh, tomorrow I will be working on a story for you and I'm preparing for my upcoming conversation with Dr. Ken Hammond. I look forward to that. And of course with Carlza on the weekend, and the Community Conversation with Dr. Stewart.
