All right, hello everybody and welcome to Health Tips for Life. This is the first live stream, uh, I, I'm gonna be doing this on a regular basis, on a weekly basis, and, uh, I will have a conversation on a weekly basis with Dr. Stewart. I'm still trying to coordinate with him because his schedule. He's a busy person, believe it or not. So, so I'm waiting for him to, uh, log in here and join me through the studio. So it might take a few minutes or so. So I'm gonna just be talking to you, share with you some, uh, ideas of what I'm thinking about with this channel, because I like you to be part of this conversation, of course. The, uh the whole reason for why I decided to do this, uh, live stream or this channel altogether. Health tips. I've been paying close attention to— you know, when we were a kid, you don't pay attention to what you eat, you don't pay attention to the environments you're in because you think you're invincible, strong, and nothing's gonna get me down and all that. As we grow older, as things changes, so And, and one of the key important things that I've learned over the years, it has to do with the, uh, uh, nutrition. So, uh, I visited a couple times back then with some nutritionists, so just to get an idea, to get a feel for, you know, and I was always thinking, oh, nothing, I'm fine. And but it wasn't about that, it was about the quality of the food I was consuming. So it was till recently, the last few years, uh, uh, that I start to really, really think very, very hard about what I consume. You know, as you grow older, the, you know, metabolism slows down. The, uh, it's just part of aging. There's just no more. But that doesn't mean you just have to give it up altogether. No. I used to say to myself, no, you're gonna have to Nutrition is one of the key factors to, uh, if you understand how to go about it. So, and of course that requires knowledge, that requires consultation with professionals and so forth. And that was one of the, uh, for me, tipping point that convinced me to, uh, here I am acquiring this knowledge and all that. What am I to do with it? So if I don't share it with everyone, so that is the reason why I decided to do the health channel, uh, and, and, uh, when I reached out to Dr. Stewart just to ask, because he is a health professional, he has a massive amount of information about health, he knows his stuff. And I'm talking, uh, from experience here, you know, you don't acquire over 40 years of experience just, just like this. So that is the reason why. So I started with, as you may notice, certain videos about spices. You know, I'll start to— you know, gradually we're gonna— I'm gonna move on from talking about certain type of spices to, for example, uh, talking about the veggies, talking about type of fat, why certain type of fat is good for you despite what you hear otherwise. Uh, fat is very, very important. I was floored, and I'm gonna share this with you Uh, for example, I, I eat meat on a daily basis except on a weekend. So on, uh, on Sundays, mainly Sundays, not Saturdays, but Sunday, uh, Sundays I don't do, but I do meat every day for my, uh, uh, breakfast, lunch, uh, that I don't— I only do 2 meals a day and I'm trying to get it down the road to 1 meal a day. That's all. Because as you grow older, your body doesn't need much food. Literally, to those who say, well, you have to have breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It's nonsense. I don't know who came up with that thing. Yeah, we were raised that way. We grew up eating breakfast, lunch, and dinner. But, you know, like, again, that's part of evolving. Your thinking evolves as we grow older. And this is why the idea of why I decided to do this. So, so moving from those kind of conversations about spices, the type of fat, and veggies, to then move into other aspects of talking about. And this is where a conversation with Dr. Stewart will come handy, because as a health professional, he understands, for example, uh, why if we don't sleep very— or do we sleep good? Do we have a good night's sleep or not? What contributes to that? What prevents us from having a good night's sleep? How important is sleep in our lives? So, so this is the type of, uh, topics that I figured, uh, because those are daily things we deal with on a regular basis. So, and that is the reason why I wanted to, uh, uh, go about it that way. And of course, I welcome your suggestions, um, and, uh, inputs. Because to me, that's like a community, you know, I can't do this alone without your support and help, you know, and of course feedback and perspectives. It's, it's all, we're just learning here and that's all I'm doing here. It's just whatever I acquire as far as knowledge, I just wanna share it with you. Then from there, I wanna move on into the conversation, uh, with, uh, Dr. Stewart down the road, for example, about chronic diseases. You know, what's leading to that? Are there any links to, for example, malnutrition? You know, does it has to do with geographical location, uh, the type of food, the type of thinking, the type of— there, there, there are a lot of moving parts into all this. And, and I figured once a week it will be one topic. Of course, I will welcome your suggestions, of course. And, and each week we we'll take one topic. So, so he's busy person with his coaching business and consulting business, and so I'm very grateful he is allocating, uh, uh, an hour for me in a week, which is, which is plenty, and I'm very grateful to that. So, so this is basically what I intend to do. I know it's the first time, I don't expect a lot of, uh, uh, subscribers to get in into this live stream. It's the first one, so, but I will be, I will be doing this moving forward. So, and I will always post this for you to let you know as to what lies ahead. So let me see if there's any, if there's anybody here that can— no, no. So, so this is the— and Dr. Stewart wasn't able to connect either. So something didn't work out in the, in the connection here. So, so in any event, uh, I'm not gonna stay here just rambling here. Uh, what I intend to do is, uh, uh, I'm gonna keep, uh, making the videos about certain, uh, type of nutrition, spices, and so forth. And, and we'll just, uh— oh, here is— I see somebody. Hey, good to see you, Hadid. Thank you for being here. So I'm trying to wait to see if, uh, okay, I'm trying to— the connection, Dr. Stewart's having a hard time. Not is the connection, is the detail with the technology and so forth. So I'm hoping he will be able to make it. Good to see you, Hedy. I hope everything is well with you. And of course, uh, just to remind you, Hedy, that I will be doing that live stream at 12:30 30 later on about what's going on in Africa. That's, that's another subject for another day. So, so for this one here, it's just the idea of, uh, focusing on health topics that I believe we need to learn about as we grow older. And here is the reason for why. The reason being is because the medical industry, pharmaceutical industry, hospital industry, you know, you name it, The less you know, the better it is for them, and that is where it's problematic. So, and, uh, uh, this is why, for example, the first time you go see a doctor, what is first thing he or she does? Write your prescription drugs. You know, the drugs can really impact your health in the long term. There's always that side effect. And I'm not saying medication is bad. That is not what I'm saying. All I'm saying is you're gonna have to make a decision, uh, whether to embark on a medication for life or you seek other alternatives. You know, that, that's all I'm saying here. So, and a lot of people do not, uh, uh, know it's because they don't have the basic information in understanding how health works, you know, uh, how nutrition, for example, can play a major role in, in long— not only, uh, keeping you in, in good conditions, but also, uh, intellectually, your brain is still sharp, you still can think critically, still think clearly, you still, you know, it's just part of what we consume. Of course, the environment you add to it, with all the, with all the toxicity that exists out there, the, the type of air we breathing, you know. If you noticed, I have behind me here, that's sea salt lamp, you know. Well, the purpose I have that one is because it purifies the air I'm breathing here. I have another machine down here. It's down, I can't move the— that's usually for air purifier, you know. And I can always tell the difference when I step outside versus when I come back home here. So I have them the same in my bedroom when I sleep. So, so all the environments play a role into all this. And And this is why, again, I made the decision to launch this channel. It's time-consuming, like everything else in life, uh, but again, you prioritize what's more important. So, uh, to me, I feel this is very, very important for me, and I give it enough time and attention and devotion, that is, to share with, with my viewers, and, and because for the sake of learning. That's all it is. You know, I'm not doing it for any other reasons. So, so, um, I think, uh, Dr. Stewart wasn't able to log in here. So, uh, which is not a problem at all because I'm gonna do it next week again. Uh, so it's not a, yeah. So, so because I don't want to keep, uh, as I said, just rambling here, you know, and, and health topics are, are very, very complicated and and he is someone who understands this in and out. So, so, uh, what I'm going to do is I'm going to coordinate with him for next week, and, uh, once I, uh, figure out the, the date and the time, and I will post a link for you guys, uh, for those who are interested in learning about health topics and issues and so forth. And of course, uh, once a while I'll open the floor for questions from you for Dr. Stewart, not for me. I'm not a health professional here, so I gotta, uh, put a disclaimer on that. So all I'm doing is I am a bridge by which to share the knowledge with you that I do the research, that I look in different parts, uh, uh, not only on the internet, but there are other medium by which I, I read some books about health and so forth. When I have time, uh, and gain that knowledge and share it with you. So, uh, and that's what I intend to do. So, all right guys, uh, I know it was only Hadi by himself here. Thank you so much for being here, Hadi, and I appreciate it. And I hope to see you in the next one at 12:30. So, to all of you, uh, for when you watch this later on, uh, uh, sorry that we couldn't connect with Dr. Stewart due to technology. He's in a different location altogether. Uh, and I'm gonna make sure next time, uh, that I'll check all this before we come on the air. And this way we will have an experience with, with Dr. Stewart. So, so as always, remember, your health is your best asset, and this is the key to all that. So, so you take care, Hedy. See you guys. Bye-bye.
