We are an immigration consultancy focused on strategic immigration solutions, visa processing, been operating for 17 years. We obviously, as an administration based organisation, need a lot of systems, we need processes. And I had a bit of a funny time in October last year where I had each of my staff members go away for a couple weeks at a time. And so what I did is I had the opportunity to sit within their sort of, you know, their role and help out. And what I realized, I actually had five different companies under the one roof. So where I thought I had systems and processes in play, it actually turned out that they all had their own little unique, you know, way of doing things. And so from an external point of view, it would actually appear that you had five different organizations you were dealing with with no level of consistency. As I started down this process, I had a presentation by Dave at an EO group that I'm part of and one of the members brought Dave in to present about systems and processes. And, you know, I sort of thought, well, I'm on this journey. And his enthusiasm and excitement really, you know, sparked my fire as well. And I thought, oh, this is great. And so we started talking and, you know, he was explaining what's possible and he had a presentation on, you know, how to do the systems and processes and the process flow. And then what he presented to me was to say, well, hey, how about if you take on a systemologist? So what we did is I got my operations manager to work with Dave. They went off and recorded sessions, they mapped out every single process. Dave said, look, you're not the best person to do system. I don't really want to talk to you. Just come in at the end and check what we're doing, make sure we're doing the right thing, which I did the other week. And I've got to say that the whole process has been amazing. The systems and processes we have at the end will enable our business to move on to the next level. It will enable us to scale dramatically and to handle huge volumes of work, but also ensure that everybody's on the same page in the business, which, as a business owner, the bigger we grow, the further I get away from the day to day nuts and bolts. This gives me the confidence and security to walk away and go to a client, say we can manage 100 applications for you or turn an application where, you know, problems, because they have the confidence not just in the people, which I think gets you to a level, but actually past the people. You need robust systems and processes with redundancies in case there's a problem, and we've slowly but surely been building that in with the help of Dave, and it's been a great experience.
