Hey, we're here with Glenn Carlson, he's from Dent Global. They are one of our sponsors for the event for the Business Systems Summit. And I've got two very quick questions for you Glenn. The first one, can you tell us a little bit about the system that you're going to be sharing as part of the summit and the problem that it aims to solve?
Sure. Well, one of the things we've discovered is the fastest way to create a breakthrough in your business or brand is to be recognized as one of the go to players in your industry. One of the biggest challenges that small business owners experience is they're struggling to get the kind of cut through and visibility they need to not just attract clients but attract the right team, investors, partners, the list goes on. So I'm going to be deconstructing the five step methodology for becoming what we call a key person of influence in your industry. Where you can stand out, scale up but ultimately make a dent in the universe.
I think because we've just recorded the session and I'm very familiar with the key person of influence work, what I love most about it is this applies to every business owner. This is just a framework that layers over the top of the every business to have them stand out. And we go through those five steps. So definitely check out Glenn's session. And Glenn, the second question I wanted to ask you was why do you see systems and processes as so important in business?
Systems and processes are super important simply for the fact that I believe the most valuable asset that any of us have is our time. It is the one non renewable resource which is why time is expensive. So if you were to try and have an organization without systems and processes, you need human beings using their intuition to solve often increasingly complex problems. The moment one of those people has a bad day or week or month or has a baby, you're in trouble. And so if you think about a system or a process is like putting a dollar into in the time bank, it's going to start to yield more time to focus on the high value activities not just for you but for your team as well. And so I think the more systems, the more processes and best practices or automation or whatever you're thinking about into your business. The more time you get back, the more ability you have to focus on making a real impact.
And I feel like the system that you share, the key person of influence system over time earns you so much time because you end up magnetically attracting clients and prospects to your business and that ultimately saves you a huge amount of time. So you definitely want to check out Glenn's session. Head over to thebusinesssystems summit.com and Glenn, a big thank you for your time.
