Hi, we're here with Michael Slowinski. He's the founder of Nozbe and he's one of our featured speakers at the Business System Summit. Michael, I have two very quick questions for you. Firstly, can you tell us a little bit about the system or the framework that you're going to be sharing and some of the problems that it really looks to solve for business owners.
So I'll be talking about the concept of a pyramid of communication. So how to structure communication in a way that is just, you know, that you have less chaos, more information, where it should be and especially you give space to your co workers and to your team to just do their best work and communicate the most effective way possible with respect and with trust and, and with great efficacy.
And I know we've just recorded this session and it's one you want to listen to like Michael's system can be applied in any business. So highly recommended. And the second question I wanted to ask you, Michael was just around. Why do you think systems and processes are so important in business?
Yeah, I mean when you start a company and I started my company like as a one man shop, you think, you know, I'm going to wing it, it's going to be fine, I know what to do. But as company grows, you apprec more the processes, the systems because otherwise your knowledge and your, you know, the way you're doing things just stays with people who are doing that. And this way it's not shared in the company and it's not improved upon. It's, it's, you know, it's a mess. It just basically your business becomes a mess if you don't have these processes in place and the systems in place. And I know it for a fact because I've been through this and I'm still through this because I'm still, you know, developing more process and more systems. It sounds kind of boring and sounds kind of, you know, corporate y but it's really important like, especially for small business, like having that thing written down, having this thing, you know, in place, knowing that you can refer other people to it, knowing how you can improve it, it's just so much better. It just helps me run the business so much better and with so much calmer.
I think it's something you want to keep an eye on is Michael's session around his system for communication because it does just that, it reduces the chaos. So if you want to find out a little bit more, just head over to the business system summit.com and Michael, thanks for your time.
Thank you, David.
