Short interview excerpt where David Jenyns asks Steve Olsher about the system he'll present at the Business Systems Summit. Steve describes a system for "profiting from podcasts"—using podcasting to solve the problem of business invisibility by generating visibility and converting that visibility into revenue. He also emphasizes that systems and processes are essential to scale a business and allow owners to be replaced or step away from day-to-day tasks. The clip ends with a CTA to visit BusinessSystemsSummit.com to view the session.
We're here with Steve Altscher. He's one of our featured speakers for the Business Systems Summit. And Steve, I've got two very quick questions for you. The first one is if you can just tell us a little bit about the system that you're going to share for the summit and the problem that it solves for business owners.
Yeah, so it's all about profiting from podcasts and it really solves the problem of being invisible, staying sort of as that world's best kept secret. And so we're going to be talking about how to leverage the power of podcasting to generate meaningful visibility for your business and then more specifically, how to turn all of those visibility opportunities into revenue. Because I'm a huge proponent of the fact that you can turn visibility into revenue. And that's a lot of what we're going to be talking about.
And we've just recorded the session, so it's really clear. And this is one that you want to check out. It's got some great detail and worth watching. And then the second question I've got for you, Steve, is why do you think systems and processes are important in business?
I mean, they're the lifeblood of your business. So if you don't have systems, the odds are really good that you're going to be looking at some pretty interesting systems moving forward. Right. Those systems being how do I file for bankruptcy and what papers do I sign and what dotted line am I needing to fill out here? The God's honest truth is businesses live and die based on the systems and processes that they have in place. And ultimately, when you look at the processes behind your business and what fuels your business, if you ever plan on taking yourself out of the role of doing absolutely everything, you have to create processes behind what it is that your business does on a day to day basis so that anyone can come in at any time and replace you or replace someone else to be able to take on that role, that task, etc. So if you want to scale, you have to have systems and processes. If you want to ever take yourself out of just simply working in your business, you got to have them. So can't imagine anything being more important than the two of those things.
Yeah, and I'm definitely a lover of systems too. So if you want to find out more about Steve's system, just make sure you head over to the business systemsSummit.com and check out his session. So thanks again, Steve.
