My name is Brett Johnson. I'm the owner of Johnson Accounting in North Lakes in Queensland. So we're an accounting firm. We look after small to mid sized enterprises from micro businesses up to about 10 million in turnover. And we have two staff and myself. When I started my business about five years ago, I read E Myth by Michael Gerber. So I had them in mind to have a more sort of systemized business. But I didn't really have the practical know how how to implement it. So I did it. I basically hacked together some Word documents and Excel files and like probably most people do and tried to make that my sort of standard operating procedure tool. But it never really got used, it sort of just got buried in the files and never really got looked at. So I came across System Hub and I thought it looked like it was this tool that was made for the purpose of systemizing a business. So I thought I'd give it a try and see if it solved that problem where I was actually having something I would use more regularly. When I first started using System Hub it was just myself and one part time staff member. So it was quite challenging to get the time to systemise. So I actually started by systemising the things I was delegating to that person. You know, if somebody leaves you simply go, well, what were the things they were doing? Here they are in System Hub and you can give it to the other person to take over and you just show them once the procedure is already there and then they can refer back to it as they need. So it's been so in a real sense that's something I've used it for. It's been very effective I guess for myself. It's really taken a load off me, particularly around those things I shouldn't be doing in the business. And that's probably common across just most small businesses where the owner has grown it and is doing things or not doing things efficiently or productively. So this is just a way to capture that knowledge that's inside their heads and their staff's heads and capture best practices so you can't go wrong really. And what's really good is, what I really like is it is a hub. So you just know if there's a standard way that something has to be done, that's where you go.
