SYSTEMology Case Studies

A recorded compilation of client testimonials about SYSTEMology. Multiple small-business owners describe pre-system problems (no processes, time-consuming setups, ‘ignorance’ about workplace practices) and concrete benefits after systemizing: documented procedures, visual process maps, team indoctrination, improved saleability, time away from work, and confidence to scale or pursue new projects.

Over the last three years, even before systemology, we were trying to eliminate waste from a process that we've got, which is very labor intensive. It's what we call the setup. So for all the violins and things that you see there, we've got to cut bridges and sound processes, some very complex parts.
I love water skiing, I love going up the river, I love getting out of the office. So without the systems being processed like they are, I was stuck in the business. I was in here day to day, answering questions, all the rest of it.
Ignorance was the big one. I was just ignorant what successful workplace practice would have looked like. And I just feel I was ignorant to what was possible and I just didn't know how. I knew what I wanted, but I couldn't get the gap, I couldn't close that gap and I couldn't find the tools to leverage that.
Normally me and my wife used to go to the place and now we just start recording all the. For example, how to clean a fridge, how to clean an oven, how to clean the floors, how to clean up lines, all the steps.
I had another business before, it had no processes, no systems. It was like a deck of cards and like a house of cards. You would just go like, boom. And then everything starts falling down and you don't know where to grab and where to catch.
I think I would have paid somebody to take the company just because we didn't have any systems in place. It was too much cult of personality and more business just meant more headaches and trouble and time away from home.
Every opportunity, every problem can be solved with the system. And we look at our business and our service and what we want the outcome to be. Now with a systems approach, if we're.
Going to be in this business for the rest of our careers, we want to work on things that we really love. There's so many things that I could do, but I don't love doing. If we've got a good system in place, we can get anybody to come in and do that.
It makes your business saleable because you're not the person that's operating the business. As I said, I went away for six weeks over Christmas. I bought a caravan. I'm going away for six weeks in June, July, and the business will still operate.
I loved your book because it was so simple and it was actionable and it was like, you need to do this next and. And then once you complete that, you need to do this. So it was actionable. It was an actionable guide that I could take and I'M like, I visualize this, I can do this. I already. I'm halfway there already.
I think having a visual representation of the system really helpful. Once you've planned it all out, once you've done it and you've gone through all the testing and measuring and improving, and this one doesn't work as great and we need to do that a bit better. I think for me, always with the team, it was two things. It was a visual representation and it was the daily indoctrination.
Now, with systemology, the future for the business is this just hums along like the most beautiful machine. There's no concerns with it there not being a system to address a challenge, which will then allow us to leverage into these other events with confidence without.
Everything falling down now, like, if I.
Bring more people, I don't have to repeat myself. And now the person that is working with me, that is Victor, he already know how to do everything, so I don't have to do it myself neither. So now I actually stay 50 hours a week, like, literally. Actually, that's why I'm starting a new YouTube channel and everything, because now I have time to do.
We did actually get a few people to read the book. That helped a lot. It's like there were a few people who straight away put their hand up. They're like, I love this. I just want to be involved, kind of, can I? Can I be involved?
That one is just like magic for me to be able to go, well, you read it, you've agreed to it, why are we doing it a different way? The whole thing together for us has been a bit of a game changer and it's been great to start using it all.
If you are having second thoughts about.
Implementing systemology or systemizing procedures and your.
Own duties, just don't just do it.
You just eliminate all those negative thoughts and just do it.
What we've done just now, we've built a hydro pool and a gym and you have that passion of, oh, this is the next thing and we need to do this. Systemology was one of those moments. Systemology was one of those. This is it. This is what's missing, Sam.
