A short video testimonial in which Nick Bradley (business growth and scale-up specialist and host of the UK podcast 'Scale up your business') endorses David Jenyns' book Systemology. Bradley—drawing on his experience as a CEO of private-equity-backed businesses—says the book is game-changing, accessible to business leaders who are not process-focused, and practical for aligning people, processes, and strategy to enable scaling.

Hi, my name is Nick Bradley and I am a business growth and scale up specialist. I'm also the host of the UK's number one business podcast, Scale up your business, which has now had over 150,000 downloads on iTunes and Spotify. Now it's not very often that I read a book which I think is game changing and one that when I kind of go through it I kind of start to look at how I've run businesses for years and start to see ways of which I may have been able to improve that and do it significantly better. And this book by David Jennings, Systemology, is one such book that I just want to endorse in terms of its focus and its simplicity, its precision around how you can bring systems and automation into any organization. Now as a CEO of private equity backed businesses for 10 years, I was always the guy who was really strong on vision and go to market strategies and all those important things that you get to when you're running a big organization, particularly one that's got lots of challenging investors behind it. The thing that I was not great at was bringing in process and you know, for some reason that's really because it just wasn't where my energy is. But actually this book is fantastic because what it does is it talks to someone like me, it talks to the business leader, it talks to me in a way that I can understand both the importance of a systems mindset, but importantly how that can really align all the resources that I can have in a business, how it can align the people, how it can enable the strategy. And as I said, David has done a brilliant job of taking a topic which can sometimes come across as say a little bit out there, a little bit boring, a little bit, you know, process driven, all those things, and has certainly made it much, much more interesting and much more accessible for people like me. So I fully endorse this book. I think it's really, really well written by David, very clear, very comprehensive and I recommend you.
