Without systems and processes, I wouldn't be here. A successful business is a collection of systems that work together to produce the end result for the client and for the shareholders of the business. Systems make you more consistent, more successful and more effective. If you run a small business or a big business and you don't have awesome systems helping you to run the day to day, then this book, which is being released in a matter of days, is going to be a absolutely killer. Systems are created to help you not have to think about the next step. You know the next step and you're plugging and playing or you're filling in the blank. The true magic of a system is that it can be improved. You need business process in order to scale. They're what makes things efficient, consistent, predictable and takes stress off of everybody involved. Systems can help save so much time and energy and money. If you you don't have systems and processes, ultimately you don't actually run a business. You just own your own job. If you want to scale, you have to have systems and processes. If you want to ever take yourself out of just simply working in your business, you got to have them. David is extremely good at creating systems for his business. When you have systems in place, the best thing that happens is that your business becomes sellable. People want to buy a system. They don't want to just buy business with things everywhere. They want to buy that procedure, they want to buy that step by step structure in your business. And if it can thrive without you, you're in the catbird seat, right? You could sell it if you want, or you could bring in a manager to run it day to day. You could recapitalize it, bring in a private equity group. All of those options are available if it's not dependent on you. Most of us before we have systems, we're just reacting to the market rather than being proactive and control our own destiny of where we're actually going. I come to be able to trust that systems are important because they build trust. Doing the simple things well consistently over time delivers an amazing result. Everything is about repeatability. The more systems, the more processes and best practices or automation or whatever you're thinking about into your business, the more time you get back. Having systems allows us as the business owner to be away from the business. In systemology, it teaches how simple it is to be them. I've got goosebumps just talking to you at the moment, but your book is that missing link. Anyone listening to this? If you really want to free yourself up from your business please check out Dave. And I'm seriously in love with this book. I highly recommend this as a read. Dave Jennings Systemology. Get it now, Sam.
