This is a YouTube video titled "Why Founders Are Key Decision Makers in Small Businesses" containing a monologue by Dmytro Rodenko recorded in April 2025. In this content, Dmytro explains the decision-making hierarchy in small and medium businesses, emphasizing the role of founders in small companies and C-level executives in medium-sized companies.
So here the decision makers, most mostly they are founders. Because all of the questions regarding, let's say the company development and some things about they are communicated to founders and the founders, they are final decision makers. So that's why if you are aiming small business, you should communicate with founders and that's it. If we are speaking about medium business, I would say it's from 100 to 250 people. You should communicate with the person responsible for the certain, let's say area of business. For example, if you're working with a, let's say it, it can be a cto, chief of engineering, cio, etc, if you are aiming, let's say finance, finance, it can be CFO, head of finance, etc. Yeah. So you understand, you understand how it works, right? So because here it's much harder to get to the founder because founder, let's say now delegate a certain level of responsibility and certain budgets to the people who are designated or assigned for development of certain, let's say area of the business, right? So that's why here it's better to go to the C level people, to the people on the C level position.
