So from my view of how I practice, naturopathic medicine is going to be, first and foremost, empowerment. I believe in educating my patients, so then that way they are empowered and they feel confident about exactly what's going on. And so that way they can hold a conversation not only with their friends and family, but also with whoever else they have care with as well. How I practice for medicine is going to be based on my background in biopsychology. I was trained in that. And so I have an emphasis in hormones and neurotransmitters. So I'm really fascinated about the interplay of how these all intermingle together to affect our behavioral health. And so that also goes in along of stress management. And I love to talk to people about how they're doing in their daily lives. How does stress show up for you? How do you want to live and be during your day, and how can we get you there? Other things I really love to do as well is cardiometabolic health. So for me, naturopathic medicine is really able to shine in that because it's going to be focused in preventative care and foundations of health. Meaning, are you eating enough, Are you sleeping? How is your stress level? That combined with exercise, nutrition, and then also pharmaceutical management as well, is where naturopathic medicine really shines for that field.
