So yeah, this summer RebelMed will be celebrating its five year anniversary and we're really excited about it because you know, we've been here in Ballard, Seattle for the last five years and during that time our clinic has shifted in a lot of different ways to support the community and in terms of health and wellness, you know, in that we've noticed over the last five years a lot of different shifting and changing happening in regarding to the medical landscape. And one of those things is, you know, while we've been, you know, traditionally built upon a insurance based model, one that really focuses on, you know, evaluation of different conditions and diseases, we found a lot of value in adding a lot of wellness and prevention based services to our office. And you know, through that we've been able to grow and build our brand and build our business in a way that really has been really a thank you to the community. Part of that is associated with the fact that we see a demand for, you know, added services that bring a lot more wellness and value to our just well being and, and when we feel better, can move our body better and be in less pain and not have to use as many medications. Our patients have found a lot of real true benefit in that. Unfortunately, the challenge with that is that insurance really doesn't pay for those wellness services as much as we might think they should. And so therefore we are now launching our concierge medical program which gives people the opportunity to kind of wrap around the insurance based care that they already are getting. And that nice membership model is really geared for, you know, finding the, the things that benefit you the most. Sometimes it's mind body medicine, sometimes it's acupuncture, maybe it's a nutrition visit or a nutritional iv. And when we have the opportunity to pick and choose from all those different services, it really, you know, meets the patient where they're at some months you have periods of time where you're going to be in more pain because your baby being more physically active. There's other times where your mood might be a little bit down because it's like darker outside or you haven't as much opportunity for social engagement. So we help support the patient where they're at at any time of the year. And that's one of the value added benefits of working with us in our membership program. So the benefits here at our office, for our different membership programs we have three different tiers. Each tier is designed to support you wherever you're at in your health and wellness journey. Maybe your health insurance provides already really comprehensive benefits including, you know, spinal manipulation and acupuncture. So you may only need one of our lighter membership options. Maybe your insurance covers some of the basics around office visits, but doesn't really quite offer all those other value added benefits such as acupuncture or spinal manipulation. So we offer a mid range tier that kind of helps support, maybe you know, more support that's necessary for you in that moment with a really flat monthly rate that you can budget and use appropriately as you need it. And then those individuals that don't have any insurance support or, you know, would like to have, you know, more comprehensive, you know, fuller care provided to them, we offer a higher tier option on a membership that really gives you an all inclusive opportunity to explore all of Rebel Med services, you know, when you need them and you know, over time as you have a membership at our office, you accumulate credits that you can then use for different services should you need them. Whether it's our aesthetic services, our body sculpting services, our nutritional IVs or even some of our, you know, comprehensive functional lab testing that we offer. You know, sometimes those things may not be when you need them, but you know, having that, you know, support available to you when you need it is what we're here for. And when you choose a membership option at our office, you, you get to align yourself with one of our primary care physicians that is your go to support person whenever you need it. So should you have a message or a question, you know, maybe that doesn't require a full office visit, that's what that's for. Our providers will let you know if you know, we do need you to come in. You know, there's a reason for that and we can still use your insurance for those things. But anything that's really not covered by your insurance or is regularly being denied by your insurance, we wanted to offer a plan that gave you a flat fixed rate that you could use whenever you needed it. So some of the value added services that are inclusive in our membership options at our office include direct one on one messaging with your primary care provider here at our office. That could be a simple question that could be answered just directly through our portal or through a video chat online. We also offer discounts on supplements. So if you're going to be a member here we have direct pricing options for supplements. We have discounted lab pricing that is oftentimes cheaper than even processing it through your health insurance. These could be things like just wanting to check your cholesterol or your glucose or your A1C. You know and have more optimal awareness and strategies rather than just being you're fine. We're going to give you, you know, the ins and outs associated with that functional lab testing. All of our members also get benefits in terms of, you know, opportunities to waive cancellation fees, acute add on appointments if necessary, and a complimentary vitamin injection each month. Additionally, if your insurance doesn't provide full benefit coverage for some of our popular services including acupuncture, spinal manipulation, the membership package is really designed to cover those non covered or wellness or maintenance type visits that you might need to utilize at some point. You know, maybe your insurance has a finite limit of what's allowed. Additionally, you can use some of those services at that flat rate monthly fee that we use to help support you with, you know, when, when you need it. Oftentimes the, you know, the frustration in our medical system is those surprise hidden fees that, you know, that catch us off guard and kind of throw our budget off when we don't, when we least expect it. So one of the things that rebelmed that we've really built around is transparency. And so when we can, you know, use your health insurance, we will and try to aid your financial benefits that you get from using your health insurance. But oftentimes, you know, those health insurance companies will maybe deny something or maybe not, you know, provide full comprehensive benefits as we originally thought. And we are just as surprised in those moments as well as you are. So what we've decided to do is, you know, we will always discount our anything that's denied by your health insurance to our direct pricing rate. And we will also, you know, when you're a Rebel Med concierge member here at our office, those concierge membership plans are designed to help support you on the back end to kind of eliminate a lot of those, you know, hidden fees or you know, denied services when our insurance company doesn't really quite back us up the way we might think they might.
