This is a YouTube video titled "Patient Diaries: Phenol Peel - First Major Outing" containing a personal diary entry from May 31, 2024. The speaker shares their experience managing skin care and sunscreen application after a phenol peel treatment during a recent trip to Alaska, expressing concerns about skin healing and protection during summer.
My husband and I just recently got back from a trip to Alaska on a cruise, and I was worried about how my skin would fare while I was away. Taking the doctor's orders, I made sure that I put on my sunscreen in the morning and tried to remember during the day. At the end of the day, my face would feel a little bit red and hot, realizing that, well, thinking that I hadn't put enough sunscreen on. But by the next morning, everything was fine and it settled down. So I know that I'm still healing and I am concerned about my skin, especially now that summer is upon us. To make sure that I'm not forgetting, I'm putting that sunscreen on and making sure I'm protecting my new skin. So that's what's going on.
