This is a YouTube video titled "What is a thigh lift?" containing an informative explanation about thigh lift surgery, including the types of incisions, patient suitability, procedure duration, and recovery timeline. The content is educational and does not involve multiple speakers or a conversation with Dr. Cory Goldberg.
Thigh lift surgery can be done through one of two ways. One is an incision in the groin area and the other, which is saved for patients who have more extra skin, can be done through an incision in the groin and also extending down the inner thigh towards the knee. Both of these procedures involve removing extra skin from the inner thigh as well as removing extra fat from the area. Usually, these kinds of procedures are reserved for patients who have had a significant amount of weight loss and as a result, have extra skin hanging between their legs. This kind of procedure takes approximately two to two and a half hours in time, and patients are required to have rest for about one week. Most people are able to start light exercise after two weeks, although the area can be quite sore and people are ready to get back to regular exercise by around four weeks following surgery.
