BMAC is a really fascinating process that we can use to get extremely potent orthobiologics treatments focused and directed in one of these areas that we talked about. So, bone marrow aspirate. Another name for bone marrow aspirate is stem cell treatment. Basically, what we do is we take some of your bone marrow, and typically this is accomplished by taking and numbing up a small area in the back of your pelvis. And then we insert a small needle into the bone and. And we suck out about 60cc of your bone marrow, just like we did with the blood. Now, bone marrow, fascinatingly has platelets in it as well, but it also has a cell called an msc, mesenchymal stem cell. And a mesenchymal stem cell is one of those famous cells that can sort of change what it becomes. And so a stem cell can become either a tendon or cartilage. It can become muscle tissue. In some cases, it can become a fat tissue. It's called pluripotential, which means it can become any of these types of tissues.
