So what does it mean if your platelet count is borderline high?
Hi, Kristen, great question. So what does it mean if your platelet count is borderline high? Well, that means that you have slightly higher than normal platelets, which I don't know exactly what your platelet count is. But at extremely high level, like abnormally high, it can increase your risk of blood clots. But if it's just borderline high, that's probably just fine. And it does mean that prp, because you have more platelets in your blood, is going to be it's going to work faster and more effectively and probably longer. So you're a great PRP candidate. Hope that helps.
