Dr. Joshua John-Ram Schacter uses PRP injections and stem cell treatments drawn from a patient's own bone marrow to trigger healing. He starts by optimizing overall health and metabolism, then uses imaging-guided injections and laser therapy to increase blood supply and activate the body's repair mechanisms.

The goal is to get the patient as healthy as possible. How can we balance a patient's metabolism so that when we use their body's ability to heal itself, and we magnify that, that that is as efficient and as effective as it can be? So once we get you as healthy as we possibly can, then we use your body's ability to heal itself. And we do this by applying prp, bone marrow aspirate, stem cell treatments, and laser therapies. PRP is where we isolate the patient's platelets, we concentrate them, and inject them using ultrasound or X ray into a specific spot. Bone marrow aspirate is where we do the same thing, but with mesenchymal stem cells autologous from the patient. And then laser therapy is an augmentation. We know that radiant therapies like laser therapy can augment healing, improve blood supply, and increase the amount of material that our cells release and can be really valuable.
