Jason Paul Ermis, 49, had chronic knee pain that kept him from climbing ladders and sleeping. At Pinnacle Integrative Orthopedics, Dr. Joshua John-Ram Schacter treated him with arthroscopy, PRP, and bone marrow concentrate instead of surgery. He recovered in about 10 days and is now pain-free and running again.

Hi, brother. So, Jason, if you would give me your full name.
Jason Paul Ermis.
And how old are you?
49.
Okay. And.
We have taken care at Pinnacle. Have taken care of your left knee. Yes, sir. So we did your left knee work and then tell us, what was life like before your treatment? What was that left knee like?
Posted a. You know, couldn't sleep through the night because my knee was hurting. It was just a constant arthritic type of pain. Was nothing. No pills that I could take to make it go away.
Painful?
Constant? Yes. What were you unable to do that really upset you?
Well, at work I climbed ladders. I mean, that's part of my job. And it had gotten to the point where I just couldn't climb ladders because my knee didn't have the strength to do it, couldn't take it.
So what finally triggered you to come in and meet us here at Pinnacle and meet with our medical staff?
I don't know. I just seen you in a commercial one day and I thought, let's go for it, see what happens.
Okay. What kind of concerns did you have prior to the procedures that were denied?
Well, I just.
I was unsure if it was going to work. You know, you hear about knee replacements, I really thought that was my path.
After talking to you and seeing some of your testimony people.
I just felt like it was worth a try.
And what was the procedure? What were the procedures like for you?
They were not as painful as I was anticipating. Recovery time was really quick and that was important.
What kind of downtime did you have after our procedures?
Like your, my initial knee scope, that was probably 10 days. Seemed like.
As far as the PRP or the, the other one. What was the other one called?
Bone marrow Aspirate concentrate.
The stem cell procedure, the prp. You know, a few days in the bone marrow. The thing I was most scared of because it sounds scary a day. I was back on it in a day.
So when did you go back to work?
You don't know? I went back pretty quick.
He went back too early.
But. But really impressive. All right. And what, what's life like now?
Pretty pain free. I mean, I, I feel like, like I told you all ago, I feel almost like a 18 year old kid again as far as my knee concerned.
So that's fantastic.
Like I can do most anything.
What have you been able to do that you couldn't do in the past, like the things that you enjoy?
Well, I've never enjoyed running, but I can run now, you know, so. And climb ladders. I mean, I I like to perform at my job and being able to. To climb a ladder without, you know, twerking down, but that's just part of it.
So what would you tell someone who's considering Pinnacle Integrative Orthopedics and working with us in our programs?
Have faith in it. If Schachter tells you he can fix you, then have faith in him and just give it a chance.
And anything else that you want to say about us or our staff, anything else about your experience with us here at Pinnacle.
Very personable staff and truly heartfelt concern. It's a relationship, not just a get in here, give us your money, and get out. I feel like, you know, you were concerned about my wellness, physically and mentally, and you. You just helped me, my body, overall, become better.
Thank you.
Thank you.
That's beautiful.
I gotta get a hug. Thank you, Jason. That's great, man. I appreciate you. All right.
