Laser Light Therapy at Pinnacle Integrative Orthopedics & Sports Medicine

So today I'm going to introduce you to Merv. He's our robotic medical laser. Kind of really interesting technology. This is the MLS M6 laser.

So I use Merv on my low back, I use Merv on my ankles. I've used it on my wrist. But today we're going to focus on my knee because that's where we did our treatment. We know that if we do a PRP injection, it's super important that we follow up with that. Our minimum injection treatment here at Pinnacle is two. We want to space those about four to six weeks apart. We then add in Merv here to do your laser treatment. Those laser treatments take us about 20 minutes. The average office visit on that day is about 30 minutes. And we will do those about every two weeks after your initial PRP injection. So we do your first injection, we do a couple of laser treatments at two week intervals. Then we do your second injection and a couple more laser treatment. Usually the total treatment time is about six minutes, but takes us a little bit to physician the machine.
