My name is Loa Cantu. I am going to be 63 in a couple of weeks. I was a letter carrier for 28 years. My knees, I couldn't walk very well. One is worse than the other. When I came in to see Dr. Schachter about a knee replacement and he told me about platelet injection that they can do to my right knee, which wasn't as bad as the left knee, and I was thinking, well, if I can save as many parts of my knee that are mine, I'd like to do that. They told me everything that they were going to do and how they were going to do it. And I thought, oh, hey, you know, that I could handle all that. I went ahead and said, yeah, let's do that. I had some injections put in the right one. And since I've had that done, I haven't had any pain in the right leg at all. Was doing whatever I did before. I haven't had as much energy as I've had from a while back. Lately, I've just been doing things that I haven't done in a long time.
