So we have Ms. Clevenger, who here is a member of the Pinnacle Wellness team. She had purchased a gold package from us. So she got a combination of PRP and stem cell bone MEG therapy. And tell us a little bit real quick what your life was like before you had your injections. Walking was painful. Standing for a period of time became painful. Sitting for extended period of time became painful. And specifically in the left knee, because you had the right knee replaced. Right. And what finally triggered you to come in to see us?
I'd had enough. Just, you know, I've got four grandchildren young, and I couldn't get up and down with them like I wanted to. I couldn't.
Wrestle with them and. Exactly. Wonderful. And were there any concerns that you had prior to the procedures? About the procedures?
Dr. Schagner did an excellent job of explaining and reassuring. My husband and I both did research, and he's. He's a rancher, and so he. He's used to looking at all that in horse terms. Yes. So we were both really confident. And the choice between that and surgery was pretty easy to make. Wonderful. And what was it like to have the procedure? Both the PRP injections and the stem cell harvesting procedure, they were both relatively painless. You know, for the stem cell, you're.
Out, so you don't notice that. And I was only down for the stem cell the afternoon because of the sedative and. Right, because you chose to have the. The sedative to help make you a little more relaxed for the procedure. Yes, yes, yes. And we just talked about downtime. So you were out a little bit that afternoon. How about from knee pain after the injection? How long did that bother you? Oh, you mean knee pain caused five years? Yeah. Soreness from the procedure? No, it didn't affect it all. Wonderful. And what is life like now? Like, oh, wow, I'm able to walk greater distances. I.
Get to play with my grandkids and.
Yeah. Rough house and. And take them here. There. It's. My life is so much better.
And my attitude about life is a lot better. Wonderful. And you had mentioned to me that you were able to get down and squat down, and you were surprised that you could do that. I was, I was. And then lastly, if you could tell somebody who is considering visiting us here, enjoying our program, but has some reservations, what would you tell them? The difference between this and surgery? Because I've been through both, and the pain level on both was really similar.
Is night and day, no downtime. And.
The cost, I think it's very similar to what my out of pocket and my off work time and you know, would have totaled the same amount? I think so. It was a no brainer for me. Wonderful. All right, well, thank you so much.
