A short YouTube talk by Dr. Joshua John-Ram Schacter advocating for early, science-backed interventions to extend joint longevity and delay joint replacements. The speaker frames joint-preservation strategies as clinically proven, non-magical treatments used worldwide and describes building a practice focused on intervening earlier to shift joint replacement timelines into later decades.

This stuff is not magic. There's good science behind it. It's used all over the world and it works really well, and we're proving it every day. And the question that I always ask myself, could we have done something else? The first knee replacement, could we have held off on that one? Because we all might need a joint replacement at some point, right? But if we can really give ourselves better joint longevity, maybe we don't have it when we're in our late 40s, early 50s, maybe we have it when in our late 60s, early 70s, maybe we get that far and the technology exists to do that. And so if we can start intervening on these joints earlier, then we can make a big difference. And that's kind of what I built this practice around. And that's what we spend our energy really trying to bring to the community. It's not a gimmick. This stuff is not magic. There's good science behind it. It's used all over the world and it works really well. And we're proving it every.
