The Pinnacle Method: Richard Arnold's Testimony

Richard Arnold, 70, had shoulder surgery on his left side, then tried PRP and stem-cell injections on the right shoulder instead. He's now walking 4.5 to 5 miles daily and doing weight workouts, with minimal pain after the injections and just two days of downtime.

Okay. Good morning.
Morning.
All right, if you could just look at that camera and say your full name.
Richard Lynn Arnold.
And your age, if you're comfortable.

Mr. Arnold is one of our diamond patients, so he's been through regenerative procedures using the Pinnacle method on both of his shoulders. And then we're also doing metabolic optimization with you, so we're working on your health. So tell me, what was life like before you came to us for your treatments? What were you unable to do with your shoulders that made you upset?
Well, the left one was severely dislocated, and once we got it back to where it was functioning fairly normally, came to Dr. Schachter and said, let's take a look at the right one. So we went to work on it. No surgery on it, but it's a lot better than it was. And I can't say enough praise for Dr. Schachter and his staff here.
Thank you, my friend. So what finally triggered you to come in and meet our medical staff here at Pinnacle?
Truthfully, my next door neighbor used to work for Dr. Schachter, and she aimed me towards him. So I was blessed to have her next door to me and blessed to come. Come in here. And Dr. Schachter came in and we got the ball rolling. And other than I would never recommend somebody dislocating their shoulder and having to wear one of those slings on their arm for six weeks. That was the worst part of it, actually.
Absolutely. So what, you know, prior to your regenerative procedures, what concerns did you have as far as the PRP and the stem cell treatments that we did?
I didn't really have any concerns at all because I didn't actually research them that much. Figured the doctor knew what he was doing and have at it.
Okay, so what were these procedures like?
Actually, the pr. The stem cell ones. I had some mild pain after it was done, but it lasted only a couple of days and everything was back to normal.
And what kind of downtime did you have after these procedures?
Just a couple of days. I mean, I wouldn't really. Wasn't really a downtime. It was just. I was too sore to. Well, I was warned not to do my workouts and stuff, but it was just a little bit of pain. It wasn't anything I couldn't tolerate. I didn't really take any more pain medication and pretty much have sworn off the pain medications.
And when did you return to your normal activities?
I see. We had surgery the 28th. Wore that sling for six weeks. You know, I really can't put a date on it, but we, I was, you know, it's just I started doing things, started doing workouts at home with light hand weights and have slowly worked my way up to heavier weights.
Fantastic. And we did. So we did surgery on that left shoulder and then we followed that with regenerative procedures.
Yes.
And what was amazing about you is you healed quite quickly. So the left shoulder came together really fast. The right shoulder we were able to treat without a surgery. We just did regenerative procedures on that. If you had to pick a way to go, would you choose the regenerative procedure or would you choose surgery if you had the option?
Well, I would definitely go with regenerative, but the surgery, like I said, the way you got, you know, it's not amazing. As you can see from my. I have a scar down the side of my neck there where they did clean my carotid artery out, so. And I have scars down here where I've had hernia surgery and things have progressed so far, you know, and now I just have a few little. If you were just looking at me, you probably wouldn't even notice it.
Less scars the better, right? Oh, yeah, yeah, absolutely. So what's life like now? What are you able to do now with your shoulders that you weren't able to do in the past?
I pretty much do everything. I mean, I don't. I'm careful what, how much weight I pick up and stuff like that, but that's only because, you know, just being smart and I'm 70 years old. I have a list of things that 70 year old guy shouldn't do anymore.
But we want you to be able to do as much as you possibly can. So what would you tell someone considering Pinnacle Integrative orthopedics?
Come see doctor. Yeah, come to see Dr. Schachter. He'll take good care of you. And his staff is wonderful.
All right, well, thank you, my friend. Anything else that you want to say?
Nope.
All right. How high can you raise those shoulders up? All the way up, all the way out.
Awesome. Say, when I do my walks, I, you know, do the hands. I try to walk at least four and a half, five miles a day, so.
Good.
I have given up trying to jog.
Right. But you look fantastic, my friend. Thank you so much for doing so well.
Yeah, well, thank you for working on me.
Absolutely. Okay.
