We just did a hip injection. Right. How did you feel? How was it? Actually, not bad.
Very good. Very good.
What was it that finally triggered you.
To come in and lead our medical staff?
Well, it was just deciding I didn't want that surgery that looked too scary to me. Like I said before, the insertion of that steel rod down in that bone, I just. I thought, no, I don't think I'm going to do that.
What kind of concerns did you have.
Prior to this procedure today?
This one? Well, just not knowing enough about it. Well, anytime needles are involved, I'm a little squeamish, but just the apprehension and anxiety that I had that I'm better now. And what was the procedure like? Well, I've had some dental procedures that were a whole lot worse. I. I can tell you that.
I guess, surprising to me most was the tap, tap, tap, and the sensation of it seeming like it's kind of moving down into that joint a little bit.
That was kind of different.
Wasn't expecting that so much. I wouldn't call the whole thing painful as we normally think of pain. It's just the various sensations and things you're not expecting. Exactly. That kind of caught me off guard. I mean, Michelle did a great job of explaining exactly, step by step, what's going to happen. And then as she was doing it, explaining, okay, I'm doing this next, I'm doing this. That was very reassuring. But it's just the discomfort of the different sensations, but really not pain so much.
Okay, fantastic. What would you say to another person who would be considering coming in to talk to us here at Pinnacle Integrative Orthopedics?
As sportsman, I would say go talk to them. Find out as much as you can about it beforehand. Read up on it, read their literature that they have on it, and really seriously consider it as an alternative to surgery. What were your impressions of our office? Oh, well, I was just telling her earlier, everybody's here. It's just been wonderful. Very personable, just friendly and nice and accommodating. I mean, couldn't ask for a better medical facility as far as I'm concerned. This is odd to say, but I'm kind of looking forward to my next treatment, my next therapy session, thank you very much.
