A patient describes recovering from leg pain that had limited their walking. They can now bend their knees and legs more freely, rest less with their feet up, and walk without fear of triggering pain.
I'm not in pain. That has made a big difference with me.
What's life like now? What were you able to do now that you couldn't do in the past other than obviously lay on it and be comfortable?
I can bend my leg more. I can walk without being afraid, you know, that I'm gonna have a problem with it. Or if I get out working and walking and doing something, I don't come in and have to put my leg up, my feet up and everything and just, you know, I'm hurt and I've got to. I may come in and be lazy. It's not out of pain or anything. I'm not in pain. That is made a big difference with me because my leg would stop me and I'd think, oh, I just don't even want to walk out here because if I hit a hole or something, I'm in so much trouble. But it's changed a lot of things.
