Mr. Trice, would you mind giving us your age please?
I am currently 71 years old.
Fantastic. Does not look 71. Mr. Trice is amazing. He's also a veteran so we're very proud to take care of you.
Thank you, kind sir.
Thank you so much for your service. So what we, and we did a silver package on Mr. Trice's right knee. And at this point, what purse? We finished the package in mid December. It's now almost February, so we're six weeks out from our last injection. And what percent would you say you've improved after the, after the treatment?
I'm going to say 100%. Okay. The knee was swollen, very painful.
I didn't know what I was going to do. So after the first injection I felt 100% fine. After the second one, I felt like on top of the world.
I think the injections really, really help.
Fantastic, my friend. So what was life like before your treatment? What were you unable to do that kind of made you upset because you're a high drive guy?
Pain, I don't like pain. It was hard to walk, it was hard to bend over, it was hard to stand on. Would crack all the time. And so I just believe that those two shots, using my own blood, actually did what it needed to do to heal the body.
Absolutely. So what finally triggered you to come in and talk to us and meet our staff and talk about this biologics idea?
I wasn't getting help from anybody else, to tell you the truth. My doctors weren't helping me. It was like four straight months that I was begging these people to take a look at my knee. They didn't do it. So finally I said screw them and came down and saw you because I know you did my hip. So you. And I knew you did knees as well. So I said, hey, help me out.
So what, what type of concerns did you have prior to the procedure?
Prior to this procedure, I thought maybe it wouldn't work or it would give me cancer or it would, you know.
Give you cancer.
Yeah. Who knows? You're putting my something in there that wasn't supposed to be there. So, you know, you have all these crazy thoughts going through your mind, you know, that it might leak or might move into other parts of the knee area. But evidently that didn't happen.
None of that, none of that occurred. So what was the procedure like for you? So we did PRP injections to his right knee.
Right.
Just straighten that knee out, bend it up as much as you can. Look at that thing he's doing. Great. Awesome. What was the procedure like for you?
The procedure is really easy to go through. I mean, taking the blood, having it transferred. The only thing I didn't like, of course I don't like needles. I hate needles.
That's the rate limiting step, isn't it?
Right. And so once they put the needle in, you got that little pain, and then once they injected all your blood back into you, it just felt like my whole knee was going to burst for like two seconds. And then it was all over.
And then it improved.
Right. Then it was all over.
All right. What type of downtime did you have after the procedure?
None. No downtime. I went right back doing what I was doing.
Okay. We typically will recommend that folks will take a little bit of time, maybe a week or two, but.
But I'm hard headed.
Yeah, he's a hard man.
I had no downtime.
So what's life like now?
Mentally, I feel better, 100%. And it's, it's got to be the mental help that, that that's needed here. Yeah. When you have something physical, it brings the mental down with it. So to bring that back up, I feel a whole lot better now because mentally I feel that it's working well.
Absolutely. And what can you do now that you haven't been able to do in the past? Because I know you're super active.
I can move, I can walk faster than I did. I move, I get up. So I'm active again.
That's great. What would you tell somebody who's considering pinnacle integrative orthopaedics and sports medicine in our biologics program?
Definitely. I'm gonna tell everybody, come down here, you know, stay off the meds and all that kind of stuff. Come down and actually let your body heal itself 100%.
I couldn't have said it better myself. That's great. And do you have anything else that you'd like to talk about the program, about the staff?
Oh, hey, your staff is great. I mean, everybody out there is great. They're very professional as far as I'm concerned. And they know their jobs. Yes. And I think they do care and you can talk to them. So I like this place and I like the people down here.
Thank you so much, my friend.
You're welcome, sir.
I am so proud of you. You're amazing. Thank you again for your service.
You're welcome.
