There's 10,000 chemicals allowed in our food supply here. They have 338 in Europe. Shouldn't we ask why? Now these are only part of the problem. Most these meals are also filled with ultra processed foods that are really high in refined carbohydrates and sugars, unhealthy fats as well as the artificial additives. And as mentioned by Cali, 67% of kids have ultra processed foods as their diet. We are seeing a staggering rise in chronic disease in children. I think it's important to highlight these issues. In the last 40 years childhood obesity has gone up 400% with 20% of kids obese. Diabetes has gone up in an unprecedented way. A 200% among adolescents in the last two decades. Now one in four teenagers has prediabetes. Autoimmune diseases have tripled in kids since 1988. ADHD diagnosis up 800% now affecting 6 million kids. And 20% of our kids have a mental health issue, autism. This is nuts. From 4 in 10,000 to 1 in 36 children.
