A short YouTube vlog by Dr. Nicole Cain describing two key changes she made to improve her perioral and periorbital dermatitis. She replaced a commercial facial moisturizer with a homemade oil-based mixture of liquid vitamin D and physician-grade oral vitamin A applied topically twice daily, and completed a two-week fast eliminating alcohol and sugar while eating a greener, anti-inflammatory diet. The speaker frames the dietary change as difficult and teases a surprising third change to be revealed in the next video.

This video is part four about my face. Who knew that my face would be so fascinating, right? And as I have done with the other videos, I'm recording this video with no filter. My skin is not perfect, so please don't judge. In video part three, I talked about the major changes that I made that I think attribute to my skin completely clearing up from the perioral and periorbital dermatitis. And in this video I'm going to tell you what those changes were. And one of them might really surprise you. And that's why I'm gonna save it for last. Okay. Change number one was my facial moisturizer. I was using a newish product and I don't think it was doing me any favors. So I cut it. In its place, I made my own concoction. If vitamin D liquid is good enough for healing my gut, it's definitely good enough for my face. So I got that. And we all know that retinol is often used for the face. And so I'm going straight for physician grade oral vitamin A. I mix them together and I put those on my face every morning and every night because they're oil based, they're incredibly moisturizing and I'm seeing super good results. The next thing that I had to do was the worst. I did a two week fast where I didn't have any alcohol or any sugar. I ate other foods but kept them more green and anti inflammatory. And the big shocker is in the next video.
