A short guided breathing exercise (YouTube #shorts) led by a speaker who instructs listeners to visualize breathing through a hole at the top of the head and in/out through hands and feet. The practice is presented as a method to rebalance the autonomic nervous system, reduce anxiety, and bring calm and body awareness.
Chapters
Are you anxious right now? I want you to breathe with me. When you breathe in, you're going to start by imagining there's a hole at the top of your head. And as you inhale, imagine breathing in light and air into the top of your head. And once you feel like your lungs are full, imagine exhaling all of that air out through your hands and your feet. And then you're going to pull the air back in through your hands and your feet, and then you're going to push it out through the hole in the top of your head. And what this is going to do is it's going to re equilibriate your autonomic nervous system. It's going to shift you out of anxiety and bring you more into your body and more into calm. So imagine yourself, close your eyes and breathe in through the top of your head and draw the air down. And then press it out your hands and your feet. And then breathe back in through your hands and your feet and fill your body. And then press the breath out through the top of your head. And then breathe back in through the top of your head, press it down through your hands and your feet, and then repeat this process until you feel like you're more calm and back in your body.
