I feel like when I started working with her beforehand, I was kind of spinning my wheels.
I was told that I needed to take allergic medicines for my whole life.
Feeling like I was in a rut, feeling like I wasn't sure what I could do on my own to work through my problems and the issues I was having in life at that time.
My gastroenterologist, me, also that I had to take medicines for my stomach for my whole life, and there was nothing that I could do to improve, to make my stomach better. The diet wouldn't help, and at the time I had just my student insurance, which didn't cover any medicines.
Tried other forms of counseling, my own homeopathy, but I wasn't getting the right remedies, Reiki, a lot of self improvement, also pharmaceuticals as well.
The issues that came up in my life that brought me to Dr. Kane kind of have been going on for a long period of time. And so I always thought it was normal.
One of the first things we started working with was the food that I was taking. I had a lot of sensitivities of a lot of foods that I didn't know and I was taking every day.
It was a different experience than I had with other forms of treatment, but it was a caring experience. So I always left feeling that Dr. Kane cared about me improving and me getting better. And every time I came back and I was better, I could tell how truly excited she was that I was getting better.
She's helped me develop a lot of skills, and working with her has made lasting improvement.
My immune system got better, my stomach got better. I rarely take medications anymore for allergies or my stomach. And now when my stomach gets bad, I know it's because I wasn't good in my diet, and I know exactly what to do.
I feel like I'm in control of the issues I had in the past, and I'm able to recognize those now, even if they are still slightly present, and be able to work through them.
From going from not, you know, you have to take medicine for your whole life to not taking anything at all, it's really good.
I don't feel like I'm spinning my wheels as much and things are just a little more effortless, I feel like I can look at things in a different perspective in a different way.
I feel like I'm a new person, but it's the real me. It's the me that was always there. And Dr. King helped me work through what I had to work through so that I could shine again.
