Did you know that heat can make you feel angry and jealous? Recent news reveals that there are record breaking heat temperatures worldwide and 88% of Americans use air conditioning. But only 20% of Europeans actually have AC in their homes and that doesn't even include businesses and schools. So if you're feeling frustrated, jealous and hot, here are some solutions. This is my soul sister Hadley and she is a guru of Ayurveda and she's going to teach us all about how to get less jealous, less hot and less pissed off.
So anger, jealousy and feeling really hot are all pitta imbalances. She wants to be in here too. So the name of the game is balancing Pitta. How do we do that? Think about eating bitter, cooling, astringent and sweet tastes. Also think about adding fresh herbs to all of your foods. Just top everything with cilantro, dill, mint, all of the awesome summer herbs. Other non food related things are Going for a swim, splashing water on your face using essential oils like peppermint and rose. Thanks for watching. This has been Dr. Nicole and my friend Happy healthy Hadley.
