Do you need help tapering your benzodiazepine? Are you dealing with too fast taper schedules, terrible symptoms of withdrawal, and you're just looking for some sort of guidance and support? My favorite resource is the Ashton Method and you can find that for free online. I also have a free Facebook group and I just posted in there a slow taper protocol that I created for one of my Arizona clients. And you're welcome to take a look at it and see if this might be a better schedule that you can bring to your doctor. If you feel like you're tapering too fast or you're getting a a ton of withdrawal symptoms, then that probably means that your taper schedule is just too aggressive. So check out the Facebook group. It's totally free and in there I just put in my favorite taper schedule and you can kind of see what it might look like to do a slower, more gentle taper. I also have a ton of stuff in there, also about how to do a benzo bridge, which helps with the gaba, and also strategies for inflammation reduction, which can counteract a lot of benzo withdrawal side effects. So make sure to take advantage of that. I'll put the link for the Facebook group and the bio.
