A short guidance video by Dr. Nicole Cain on self-nurturance practices for women aimed at supporting libido by cultivating mindful, embodied, and emotionally safe inner environments. Early material emphasizes wholly inhabiting the body via mindful eating, breathing, and touch (noticing sensory detail in everyday routines) and consciously engaging/manifesting feminine inner parts (anima/animus) through gentle self-dialogue and thought management.

All right, let's talk about establishing a practice for self nurturance. The more that you nurture yourself, mind, body and spirit, the more you're going to be setting the stage for a high libido. As women, a lot of times our libido is residing in our emotional body. It's a little bit different in some women, maybe other women, they just automatically have a libido if they get enough sleep. Other women, they have to work for it. And so these practices can really help create and cultivate a safe, happy, blessed, comfy environment in your mind and body that's going to provoke a good libido. So start to first wholly inhabit your body. This talks about mindful eating, mindful breathing, mindful touch. It's getting out of your head and more into your body. Noticing the way the breeze feels on your face when you're driving in, the windows are down. Or noticing the way a strawberry tastes in your mouth. All of the textures, the seeds, the flavors, every single thing that you do, notice it. A good time to do this may be when you brush your teeth in the morning or when you shower in the morning. Feeling the water, feeling the soap, the different textures of your hair versus your skin. And start to familiarize yourself with what it feels like to be in you. And then make sure that you mindfully manifest the feminine part that you are desiring. Whether it's the anima or the animus, try to speak to that part. Just notice it. Pay attention with it, flirt with it. Take captive your thoughts.
