Hey, friends, there is a hormone that spikes in the morning that might be causing morning anxiety. Today we're going to talk about what that hormone is and what to do about it.
So that hormone is cortisol.
You like cortisol. Cortisol gets you up and out of bed. It gives you energy, gives you blood sugar, motivation. But the problem is if cortisol goes a little bit too high, gets a little overzealous and makes you anxious. So let's talk about some of our favorite solutions for that.
My favorite way to stop anxiety in its tracks is body based nervous.
System regulation.
So literally placing your hands on the part of your body that you're feeling the anxiety, maybe it's your forehead, so.
You give a little light touch and.
A little bit of pressure. Maybe it's the top of your head, maybe it's the back of your neck, maybe it's your heart. And you can just press down a little bit and it feels so good.
There are some amazing ingredients that can help bring down overzealous cortisol. My favorite product is catecholicol by Designs for Health. It has ashwagandha and phosphatidylserine and some other ingredients that actually regulate overactive cortisol levels.
And the third one is going to be to drink warm water before you drink your cup of coffee in the morning. So you want to.
