Your results indicate that your symptoms may be due to a type of anxiety called immune system anxiety. Immune system anxiety is anxiety that may be caused as a result of imbalance in your immune system, or the anxiety may be leading to an imbalance in your immune system. Sometimes it's a little tricky to figure out, is it the chicken or is it the egg? But don't worry, I've got you covered. Let's talk just a little bit about what immune system anxiety is. Your immune system is incredibly important at protecting you from pathogens to keep you healthy. If you get an infection, it helps you conquer or get over that infection. It's important for so many cellular processes. Your immune system communicates with your gut, your immune system communicates with your hormones. Your immune system communicates with your brain. Your. In fact, your brain has immune system cells inside of it. And so when we are inflamed or if we're exposed to something dangerous for our mind and body, our body will activate an immune response. And that immune response could protect you from anxiety or depression, or it can set you up for anxiety or depression. And so let's say that you've experienced anxiety and your doctor said, okay, you have a lot of anxiety symptoms. Maybe you have a little bit of thought anxiety, chest anxiety, we're going to give you an antidepressant. And so they give you an antidepressant. And now you're dealing with side effects of a low libido and weight gain. And you're still anxious. And then you start noticing that your allergies are getting worse, your eyes are itchy, your nose is watery, you have post nasal drip, a cough, you're sneezing a lot, or maybe you're reacting to things when you eat them that you didn't react to in the past. And so these are indicators that your body is giving you that there's an immune process going on. Let me give you a specific example. Histamine. Histamine is a very complex chemical. It can be used by your endocrine system. It can be used as a neurotransmitter in your brain, and it's an immune system cell in your brain. Histamine can be as stimulating or as activating as adrenaline. And so some people, they have high histamine levels. And so the root cause may be that instead of taking an antidepressant, maybe they need to get their histamine out, they need to drain histamine, detox histamine. And so I teach all about that in the Holistic Wellness Collective is, we find out, is immune system anxiety part of why you feel anxious? How do we know?
