Recently, I did a video talking about the relationship between histamine and anxiety. One of the most common questions I got asked after this video went live was what is the way to detox histamine out of my body? If you have allergy symptoms and anxiety and panic, it could be due to histamine. This may mean that you have an overabundance of histamine coming into your body, or it may mean that your body is less effective at detoxing histamine than it should be. If histamine is the cause of your anxiety, then getting your histamine down may help you combat anxiety, insomnia and panic. There are three main pathways for detoxing histamine. We talk about this a lot in the Holistic Wellness Collective and you can get the link in the bio, but let me generally introduce them to you here. The first way is methylation. Methylation is an incredibly important part of getting histamine levels down with they're too high. The second way is acetylation and this is in phase two, detox in the liver. And the third way to detox histamine is the DAO pathway. Of course, reducing histamine going into your body is important, but if you're struggling at getting histamine out, focusing on these three pathways can make a world of difference for your overall levels of health, inflammation, and your mental emotional well being. So be sure to go to the link in my bio to get into the Holistic Wellness Collective to learn more.
